As a fan of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, I was thrilled to learn about this amazing book! If it weren't for Powell's I doubt I would have known that it existed. A major bonus was learning that the author is the same Ron Judd who writes intriguing and hilarious travel articles for The Seattle Times! After the closing ceremony in Vancouver, I felt a little sad, knowing there would be no more games. Thanks to Ron Judd (and Powell's Books!) I can hold onto my Olympic spirit just a little bit longer!

This was a cool guide to have handy during the Olympics. I didn't read it cover to cover, but I referred to it whenever a sport came on that we didn't fully understand. It is a well-researched book filled with interesting facts that enhanced the Olympics for us. I also especially enjoyed the opening section about the author's experiences covering many Olympic games as a journalist.
