I enjoyed this story that's about Althea and Odin a bear shifter. Althea lives in a town where fae, shifters, and humans live together. There's a town rule that fae and shifters can't mate. The town is being hit with terrible storms that causing damage, so they have a town meeting to address it. Althea's boyfriend Trevor tries to kill the council man which Althea and Odin stop. Trevor is caught by Odin and Odin asks why. Trevor says he's tires of shifters and fae thinking they're better than humans. Odin says because we are. Trevor then disappears into a dark smoke. Althea's shop was damaged by the storm, and she calls a handyman. Odin arrives. What occurs afterward is an engaging story I enjoyed reading. You get a background story that's about Althea's mother Noelani and her father Gabriel tragic romance story that intwines with Althea and Odin story. Overall, the characters are likable, the storyline is engaging with the drama and mystery of the cause of the storms, and the romance slowly simmers between our couple in this copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.

I love paranormal stories.
This story was filled with creativity, comedy, mystery, and romance. I even cried at certain scenes in the chapters (don’t want to give away a lot). The characters were descriptive, but I would have liked alittle more background story. The description of the visions were written very well. I felt like I was seeing the vision myself.
I felt like the chemistry/love details with Odin and Althea were alittle rushed but still cute.
I recommend this story to anyone that likes a paranormal romance with a side of mystery.

Magical, romantic, and full of charm. Spellbound Fae’s Shifter is a captivating mix of fae magic and shifter intensity, creating a story that feels both enchanting and emotionally engaging.

The contrast between the whimsical fae world and the raw, instinct-driven nature of the shifter adds depth to the story. There’s a strong pull between the characters, built on tension, attraction, and the challenges of two very different worlds colliding.

The romance is at the heart of the story, with moments of sweetness balanced by protective and possessive undertones. It’s immersive, magical, and easy to get lost in.

A lovely read for anyone who enjoys fantasy romance with a touch of wild energy.

An exciting paranormal romance!

Author Blossom SeaFarrer weaves a wonderful tale of romance and danger. This one is complete with a demon and terrible rules that all the people—human and fae alike—have to abide by in the town of Briars Ville. This is the story of the daughter of a fae and a human who broke the rules and fell in love. I was surprised more than once by events in this story.

This was a short paranormal romance read.
There are so many elements involved, and a lot of flashing back. It can get a bit confusing, but the story is pretty imaginative.
I didn't like the fact that until literally the night he rescues Althea, Odin continues to engage in random hookups.
I was furnished an advance reader copy from the author and bookfunnel, and I'm pleased to leave my honest opinion.

Set aside a long afternoon for this action-packed contemporary paranormal YA fantasy set in the small town of Briars Ville where most of the humans and Fae manage to get along, but then it only takes one bad apple...

Althea's visions were very descriptive. I like how it was not only paranormal but also had mystery. A lot of twists and turns in this one. I love Odin and Althea together. Would have liked to have seen a little bit of backstory leading up to events that happened, but all in all very well written and descriptive.

This is quite a short paranormal romance and an enjoyable read.
The relationship between Althea and Odin develops quickly and whilst believable I would have enjoyed it if there had been a bit more opportunity for the relationship to grow more naturally.
Nonetheless this was a worthwhile read.

Great book with a good storyline, great character development and some spice thrown in there too! It was a bit slow to start off with but I soon got into the story. A little suspense, some good vs evil, demon, fae & true love. It was very well written and you get a great HEA!!! I can’t wait to read more from this author!!!

Great Fae versus human story. I love the characters characters build up of and between Odin and Althea. Nice way to intertwine the magical world and the modern non-magical worlds. I highly recommend this book.

Fae win!

Struggle of good vs. evil, right vs. wrong, human vs. fae.
Love wins the battle over evil.
The town’s control is finally being brought to light.

DNF 30%. Maybe I got a different edition from all the 4 and 5 star reviewers? It is very choppy and filled with basic editing mistakes. Example: “I greet Freddie at the bar’s counter and plunk down a twenty-dollar bill. ‘Tough day, eh?’ Freddie asks as he pours me a shot of his best whiskey. He pockets my hundred and…” Conversations are stilted and awkward. Characters seem more like caricatures. Ugh. There is promise in the plot, but it’s too hard to read for me to get to the actual story.
