Yes, upon fan request the Betrayed series is continuing!
While Brandt and Rebecca go off to have some babies, don't worry!
Davidson, Bunny and of course, Lopez are carrying the torch forward into more action packed adventures in the Bull's Eyes Sniper Chronicles, the 2nd cycle of the Betrayed Series!
Review will be posted in 24 hours I was given an advanced copy of “Bull’s Eye Sniper Chronicles,” by author Carolyn McCray to preview as a beta reader. I’m always excited when I get the email that indicates that she has finished her new book. I have yet to find one book of hers that has not left me wanting more. As you’ve guessed, she is one of my favorite authors.

This multi book collection starts off with:
Caught: The Prequel short story to the Bull’s Eye Sniper Chronicles
This is the prequel story to Bull's Eye Sniper Chronicles. We are getting a chance to revisit with Bunny, Lopez, Davidson, and new member Sergeant Drecker. They are escorting the president of the United States through Afghanistan. Everything is going fine until they are attacked. Then the adventure begins. In the midst of trying to save they find out that there is also an attack on a girl's school. They find that the terrorist are holding the girls hostage. Bunny and the crew are off to rescue the girls. You can expect the same excitement from Lopez's mad driving skills. Davidson's hawk eye snipering. Bunny's research and technical skills. With Brandt and Monroe off raising babies, the team is learning and bonding. This book is just a great short story that will give endless entertainment.
Crosshair: I'm honored to say that I'm a Beta reader for Carolyn McCray. I became a huge fan of her work after reading "30 Pieces of Silver." I took Amazon's suggestion on her book after reading "Holy Blood Holy Grail." I now blame Amazon for my obsession of everything McCray.
I was so excited to hear that Ms. McCray was allowing me to revisit the old gang from the Betrayed series. I became so engrossed in the story lines, characters and adventures. I felt like I personally knew Sgt. Brandt, Dr. Monroe, Lopez, Davidson and Bunny.
"Crosshair" focus is on the "team" of Brandt and Monroe. Lopez is still the crazy, action seeking, no fear, balls-to-the-wall kinda guy. He is still up to his old self in borrowing the fastest and coolest vehicles known to man. Davidson is a changed guy now. Still disfigured from his burns, he is struggling with his feelings for Bunny. Bunny has now started playing a huge role in the team. She basically has stepped up and taken on the role of the consultant, since Monroe and Brandt are off having babies. (OMG, I feel like I'm an Aunt.)
I don't know where Ms. McCray is headed with this series. I hope that we see Brandt and Rebecca more. But, I also am excited to learn about what the others are doing and developing. These books have so much potential just to take a life of their own on and become one massive collection.
As a fan of Carolyn McCray, I haven't read one thing that I was unhappy with. For anyone that has never read her books or just starting out, I would suggest the Betrayed Series then following up with this new series. It's just that good! ***WARNING- The Betrayed and Bull's Eye Sniper Chronicles are controversial. They take on religion and make you question what you have learned and studied about the bible.
Bolt Action: The Bridge Short Story between Crosshairs and High Caliber
With Bunny in the lead but stateside, the team is in another faced paced adventure beginning in Pakistan. With Davidson, Lopez, Stark, and Levont, the team is battling drones, missiles and everything else that can be fired upon them. It’s the amazing Lopez that pulls off the mission with his awesome submarine skills.
Hacked- The prequel short story to Encrypted
This is the prequel to the beginning of the Robin Hood Hacker series. In this short introduction story, we learn of Ronnie, Quirk, Warp and Zach. We learn some back story to Zach and his relationship with his mom and fiancé. We also learn how he is hell-bent on catching the Robin Hood Hacker. Excellent short story to warm you up to the big book that follows...Encrypted.

With any book that your read by Ms. McCray, you will be caught up in an action packed novel that will leave you wanting more when you’re finished. I have been a beta reader for her for a while now and never tire of anything that she has penned.
Be prepared for a fascinating choice of stories that she has compiled in this series.

If you like underground passages, snakes, and world travel,
this one is for you.
Even if you don't, read the book before it is made into a movie or TV series.
Move action per day than most live through in a lifetime, you are propelled by Lopez into the most challenging scenarios in the religious cult fervere that threatens the balance of power and the economy of the world.
No Brant this round, but he is coming back in the next series, so grab a seat and the books to be transported into the world of Special Forces teams as they try to stop world destruction while watching the vengeance of twisted cult leaders' insane actions.
Finally finished this collection. Good if somewhat over the top action adventure with a black ops of the books group of soldiers. hackers and a couple of religious anthropologist-archeologist women who go right along with the guys. Non stop action (but they do tend to be party to a lot of iconic historical buildings in their quest to shut down odd religious cults out to impose their beliefs on the world. McCray has the genera down pat.
I a so glad the next installment is out. I've been waiting in anticipation since finding out the adventures will continue. Only complaint is that I thought the collection would be about Bunny and the crew, not samples for other books. can't wait for the next book
