Always an interesting read from this guy!

50 more maniac killers, most of whom I'd never heard of before. Every case was intriguing as always, but as usual with this author he indiscriminately lumps together spree killers, robbers who kill their victims so they can't be identified by the police, and other assorted criminals under the term "serial killer." I was a little thrown to see Andrew Cunanan - - a very well-known killer -- not only called a serial killer but referred to consistently as "Andrew Cunahan," even though his name was spelled correctly in the table of contents. The author also changed the name Helen to Mary in another chapter. Didn't stop me finishing the book and downloading another from the series.

As with all the other books in this series, you get very short, non-detailed info. Very bare bones, and I also notice he includes people who most might not consider actual 'serial killers' -- such as people who murder proprietors of establishments during the course of a robbery. I thought the definition of a serial killer was someone who murders because they have an urge to do so in a cyclical way.

So, unfortunately, a few weeks back, I bought 3 of the books in this series and am making my way through them, although having a hard time actually being INTERESTED in any of these brief synopses. Also some of the info is difficult to believe.

Are we all at the mercy of angry men (and women)?

Fifty serial killers filled with hatred and anger fill the pages of this book. Regardless of the source of their anger and hate, their victims paid the ultimate price.

A few of these vicious murderers have paid for their crimes with their lives. Some were freed to kill again and again. I was astonished at some of the lenient sentences handed down for such violent acts.

If I had proofread this book, I would have corrected at least 22 errors.
