Great Conclusion

This is the third book in Nicky and Audrey’s on again, off again relationship. These two have been through so much but one thing that hasn’t changed and that’s the love they have for each other but sometimes you wonder if love is enough. They’ve had to go down some dark paths to find their HEA.

I was lucky to read all three books right in a row because I couldn’t get enough once I started. I only hope that this author has some more rockers in her future.

Nicky and Audrey are back in the final book. Again, we get rockstar romance, with a second chance meets opposites and good girl/bad boy. It is a nice conclusion to these characters I've come to love.

Beautiful Strings is the third and final book in The On and Off Relationship of Audrey and Nicky. I am thrilled to be able to introduce you to this series. This author has always written Psychological Thrillers which I love. I had reservations about the Rock and Roll aspects of this book but it was so well written that I didn’t mind at all. There was some of the behind the scenes workings of being a Rockstar and being a Ballerina while the main theme of the book was the love story between these two unlikely people who fall madly in love with each other.

The on and off relationship is no joke. They break up, get back together, and generally because of touring spend many months apart. Be ready for your heart to be torn into pieces many times while reading these books. It is worth reading these books for general information about the two different careers and the perils people are subject to while performing their jobs. I love to learn new things and these books taught me things I haven’t thought of before.

I have to tell you that these books are fabulous and although they are a change of genre for this author, she did a wonderful job bringing the characters and the books to life. I felt like I was watching a movie while reading Audrey and Nicky’s story. I started Broken Strings and flew through that book and hopped right into Damaged Strings and jetted right on to Beautiful Strings. I couldn’t read fast enough. I think S. J. Sullivan made a very wise decision to release these books all on the same day. They are not in a boxed set so you will have to order them separately. They are well worth every penny!

If you love slightly different characters and backgrounds, learning something new, and have an interest in the arts, then these books are for you. I think you will enjoy them. Let me know what you think. I’m anxious to hear. Until next time…Happy Reading!

Nicky and Audrey’s story is a wonder. This 3 rd book picks up and starts off with the massive cliffhanger the second book ended on. While I was reading this book I prayed they would get back together and resolve their past issues and live happily ever after…. What I got was the biggest happiest twist any book has ever given me. While I’m sad their story is over and I crave more of the adorable couple that is Nicky and Audrey I love how their story ends in a cute and very romantic private way that is Audrey.

This is the third book in the On and Off Relationship of Audrey and Nicky Series; the story continues from the previous book and needs to be read in order. This 3rd book picks up and starts off with the massive cliffhanger the second book ended on. Beautiful Strings was the perfect ending to this trilogy. The author did a wonderful job bringing the characters and the books to life. They’ve had to go down some dark paths to find their HEA. I liked this enjoyable trilogy and the characters' long road to a HEA. This is the third book I've read written by S.J. Sullivan; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

Beautiful Strings was the perfect ending to this trilogy. I binged the last two books in a day and half. I couldn’t put them down!! These two have my whole heart.
After Audrey broke up with Nicky they both lived their separate lives which included other people. Even apart for years neither one could forget the other. Fate nor love would let that happen.
This is their journey back to each other. Once Nicky has her back in his sights he’s willing to do whatever needs to be done to get her back.

5/5⭐️ Perfectly written

y heart broke for them.

Audrey and Nicky's story continues right where Broken Strings left off. Even thought this book is very dark, I really enjoyed it. It shows real life struggles for Audrey and Nicky's relationship. There were times I just wanted to scream at Nicky, but I also felt sorry for him as he was dealt a bad hand in life. Audrey loved Nicky so much and she really tried to make it work ... but sometimes love is not enough. Although the wording was awkward at times, the storyline was great! I can't wait for the conclusion.

A fitting conclusion to this series. I did receive a free e-arc in order to provide a genuine review.

As I noted in my past book review, the tone shift is markedly different from book 2 and far more like book 1, which reflects the characters stories and where they needed to go.

I really love the gentle twist on how the characters get to their HEA. It is a wonderful close on the loop of the narrative device of magazine “tabloid” stories which feature throughout all three books.

This series will likely be one of my 2024 highlights.

This entertaining and engaging storyline is a very good second-chance romance. The book has drama, a push/pull, on/off relationship with great chemistry and defined MCs. I liked this enjoyable collection and the characters' long road to a HEA.

In the third book of this series, Audrey and Nicky have not been together for a few years. Can Nicky overcome his demons and commit to Audrey? Can Audrey forgive his past behavior? A great wrap up to the series. Thank you to the author for this preview copy.

Book 3 of this series is fantastic. The characters on again off again relationship is so dramatic without being over done, sometimes I find this is a bit overdone but not in this case.

This third book picks up right where the last book left off and again I'm on the edge of my seat turning the pages. The ending was great. I recommend this book.

This was a really good read. All about Audrey and Nicky and how Nicky's bad boy ways and his rock star lifestyle have turned Audrey off but can love win out in the end?

Don’t get me wrong. The writing is great. I finished the first two but sometimes the mind wanders an it gets pulled in a different direction. This is what happened

This series is amazing! I love the era that it is in and the true life struggles of a relationship in the eyes of everyone! Nicky and Audrey try to move on with their lives but years later they find each other again. It was like nothing changed. All the hurt that happened when they were together in their early 20s never happened. They were lost without each other and their love grew from maturity and distance.

They are both loveable characters. I loved the whole series.

Nicky and Audrey

— rockstar romance
— second chance
— opposites
— good girl/bad boy

This book concludes the complicated and tumultuous relationship of Nicky and Audrey. This picks up immediately after Damaged Strings.

The rehab felt very rushed and glossed over. Book 2 heavily detailed Nicky’s struggles, yet he so quickly could go to rehab and move past the drugs so fast now?

They both were with other people for a good portion of the book. And then it doesn’t feel like love between them or destiny or whatever, but just two toxic people coming back to each other.

The ending also felt very rushed. With everything that happened between them, for that to be how things were wrapped up it didn’t feel like enough of a payoff for everything prior.

Honestly, idk how I feel about these books. I read them quickly, but it feels like a train wreck a bit. I couldn’t look away, I couldn’t put it down, but I just kinda wanted it to be over 🤷🏽‍♀️

The relationship was toxic, and I don’t feel like it was ever really redeemed. But maybe I’m just not the right audience for it. If you want a complicated, toxic, rock n roll romance than you maybe enjoy this series.

The finale to the series and it was perfect. I read books 2 and 3 in a single day. After finishing book 2, I had to know what happened next and wasn’t disappointed.

Audrey and Nicky have been through so much, individually and as a couple. As they mention in the book they had several intervals of coming together over the course of several years. They had good times and bad, but they always loved each other.

Soulmates. That is what I would call them. No matter what happens, they are always drawn back to each other. They were made for each other, and they met when they were young and still had to grow and become who they were meant to be.

It was nice to see the growth and change in each of them, especially Nicky. The struggles and pains he went through, he deserved love and a happy ending. And I was happy to see how much he pushed Audrey to be herself - close to her mom, be a part of the dance community by being a teacher, and always being her number one fan.

The ending was perfect. Seeing that after all those years, they managed to get married, but not only get married, but to stay married for 24 years, with 4 kids. That Nicky was alive, and healthy.
