OHHH MY DONOVAN!❤😍❤😍
I totally fell in love with him. Book boyfriend right there
“Are you sure you want to wear that?” He turns to face me again and stands with his hands on his hips. “We can find you something else. They have wet suits over there.”
Wetsuits? Is he serious?
I glance up at his face and, yeah, he’s serious.
“What do I need a wetsuit for?”
“Forget I mentioned it,” he says before dropping on to a towel and raising his knees with a wince.
Sitting down next to him, I try to hide my grin because I know exactly what his problem is, and it’s all to do with the bikini I’m wearing. I’m practically naked, but if it gets his blood going, I’m not about to change or to act self-conscious. Covering up is my first instinct, but it’s not going to happen now I’ve seen how Donovan reacts to me.
I catch him watching me out of the corner of his eye while I start smoothing sunscreen on my legs, then my arms before finally settling for my stomach. When I get to my chest, he makes a kind of choking noise before suddenly flipping over and lying on his stomach, looking away from me.
Rolling my eyes, I quickly finish with the sunscreen, but realize I can’t reach my back so I settle on my stomach on the towel and whisper, “Um, Donovan.”
He groans and turns to look at me. “What, babe?”
I smile at the endearment and ask, “Can you rub the sunscreen into my back for me, please?” knowing how his body is affected by mine.
“Donovan, you need to wake up.”
“Donovan, c’mon man.”
I’m going to punch Reece if he doesn’t shut up. I’ve only been asleep for five minutes.
I carry on ignoring him.
“Okay, if you don’t wake up I’m going to take a picture of your naked ass with my phone and plaster it all over facebook….1…2…”
“Fuck you.”
I grab the sheet and pull it over me as I turn to lie on my back. Then it hits me—Mara.
“What time is it,” I ask Reece while dashing to the bathroom to relieve myself.
“Three.”

BEST BOOK OF THE SERIES SO FAR
I really liked Donovan and Mara's story, the chemistry and sexual tension jumped off the page. Donovan wants Mara but there are a couple of obstacles, his best friend Reece is her overprotective big brother, plus he's 25 to her 18. But Mara is a mature 18 year old and definitely knows what she wants, and whats she wants is Donovan.
This contained all the right elements for me that made this a good romantic read, there's lots of sexual tension, and just the right amount of angst and drama. The characters are well drawn as well, Donovan who's had plenty of women in the past knows when he's met the right woman, Mara has always wanted Donovan. So to read how they get together was great. I liked this addition to this series, the authors writing has improved as this series has progressed IMO and I am looking forward to Ryder's story.

Were the other two books in this series as poorly written and I somehow forgot and allowed myself to purchase the third book anyway? Because really, it's pretty atrocious. Sentences are awkward and disjointed, grammar is practically non-existent, incorrect tense and misspellings are rampant. The book switched back and forth between two POVs, but neither really had an original voice, imo. Really the only redeeming quality to this book that I can claim is that the steamy scenes are decent and the author has a way of ending each book with just enough teasing detail about the next book that you want to find out what happens. I need to stop buying these. Is there a way to make goodreads ignore an author on your "read" shelf so it stops alerting you to new books by that author? something I clearly need to look into...

Donovan fancies Mara and Mara fancies Donovan, two problems he's older than her and he's her brothers best friend. I loved Mara she knows who she wants and just goes for it and who knew Donavan what such a sweet, caring but sexy man. When Donovan finally gives in and realises that their connection is too hard to resist they decide to go for it but decide to keep it a secret until her brothers wedding. Is over. The sex scenes are so hot, it's page after page of the most erotic foreplay I've read, they might not have sex but they are very very inventive and find ways to relieve the tension. They have to deal with obstacles along the way, her sister needs to grow up and her family still has drama to deal with. We get a glimpse of the next book and OMG what a secret, can't wait.

Lexi Buchanan melted my heart with this one. I've read this series since book 1 and I never would have taken Donovan for such a sweetheart! He truly is one. I absolutely loved him and Mara. Mara took me by surprise too. It was nice to see a young woman her age to be strong and confident. Donovan had always been the one for her. She knew it. She went after it. I loved this one!

Quick read with lots of steam! There was a story to go alone with the steam, but not enough to make the story more than 3 stars in my opinion.

I love that Donovan finally got his shit together so he could finally get the girl. after everything that he went through with losing his parents, I'm happy to see that his love life played out the way he wanted, NO, needed it to. I'm also happy to see that he's finally pursuing his career goals, thanks to his girl. Mara is an amazing fit for Donovan, although she's only 18, she has a good head on her shoulders and she was hell bent on going after her brothers best friend. Her innocent spirit was very refreshing, especially being with someone like naughty Donovan lol.
the only gripe I have with the story is that I wish it were longer :( lol when you're looking forward to reading a book so bad you NEVER want it to end, but nevertheless, I'm happy to have been a part of this experience. Once again LEXI, you've done an AMAZING job and I am sooo looking forward to SAVOR!!!!

When you are looking for a sexy and steamy storyline look no further than Lexi Buchanan. Sultry is now the fave in the series.
I really enjoyed Donavon and Mara’s storyline.
They are completely besotted with each other but there is a lot holding them back.
Whilst that is frustrating I loved watching their relationship unfold.
Mara is quite a young character but she is also strong and gutsy.
I loved her confidence in going for what she wanted. I was expected Donavon to be a bit of a douchebag but he was far from it. His character is deep and really loveable.
With a strong storyline and the gang altogether Lexi has another hit on her hands.

I really enjoyed the story of Mara and Donovan. They were so sweet and perfect for each other. The one thing about this book that I really enjoyed is how there was not a lot of unnecessary drama or over-the-top story lines. It focused more on their feelings and relationship rather than outside forces. The other two books before this one were interesting, but this one is my favorite. I would suggest reading them first since the other characters are mentioned throughout and the story line will be more complete. Can't wait to read the next book.

Love this series. Love Lexi Buchanan. I enjoyed Mara and Donavan's story. Having loved and lusted for each other for years it's great that they get together. The story is hot, funny and Reece and Phoenix, Callie and Thalia make appearances in Mara and Donavan's story. It also sets up the next book in the series which will be Dahlia. Glad Mara and Donavan get their HEA.

Loved this book and would recommend ,you can read as a standalone but prefer to read the first two so you can know who everyone is. You'll love the first two reads can't wait for the next book . I will be sorry to see them end. But like always I love Lexi Buchanan books .

It was really cute. Something once again was missing for me. Unfortunately I couldn't give it the five stars I was hoping for I can't lie that it didn't make me wanna jump up and down and smile about it. The couple was cute and all Donovan and Mara were goals at many points but the story's missed the big omg moments that make books epic. The moment that you tear up and smile at the book cause they'd are so adorable. Also the intimidating big brother doesn't want the best friend to be with the 7 year younger sister, then there was Sara who pissed me off beyond proportions. Ugh there's were moments that chipped away at the five stars I was planning. It was a cute read though. Just not epic in my eyes.

Oh my God!!! I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this book. I never expected this to be so good. First of all, I LOVED Donovan, he was the cutest, sexiest, most perfect guy. 100% one of my new favorite heros. Ugh I don’t even know what to say I just loved everything about him. I really liked Mara as well, I think they had an excellent connection and great chemistry. I believed their love and their feelings towards eachother even though it happened fairly quickly. This book was one of the cutest, most heartwarming books I’ve ever read and I’m so happy I decidedly to read it.

I'm loving this series and group of friends. Like the first book I was hooked from the beginning! It was kind of cheesy at times but honestly I was digging it. I definitely felt their chemistry and loved it!

I was anxious to get Donovan's story and it didn't disappoint at all. This book is everything I've come to love and expect from Lexi's work. It has the right amount of humor, angst, wanting and steam. The story picks up with Mara, Reece's sister, and Donovan having a heated moment. They're both in love with each other but won't do anything about it for different reasons.
Donovan doesn't want to overstep any boundaries with Reece's family and he is also worried about the seven year age difference. Mara thinks that he doesn't like or want her and is just being nice because of Reece. When they travel back to Alabama for a double wedding, all bets are off. They both admit their mutual attraction and decide to act on it. However, they decide to wait to tell Reece until after the wedding, so there won't be black eyes and other injuries from the fight that is sure to happen. Mara is facing her own set of issues with her new relationship, not only is she a virgin, but her older sister Sarah wants her man!
At the wedding, an accident occurs that brings Donovan's feelings rushing out. He is there by Mara's side and refuses to leave. Much to my surprise, Reece was ok and trying to work some reverse psychology to get his best friend with his sister. I guess it worked, the more he brooded and seemed upset by the looks, the more Donovan and Mara couldn't stay away. When they finally end up being together, it is everything you want your first time to be: with a man you love and good! The wait was well worth it.
Sarah is causing problems for more than Mara though, she is out to hurt Dahlia as well. She is blackmailing her to keep her away from her family. Ryder is there to watch out for her though. I like where that story could be going....I can't wait for what Lexi has in store for us next.

This story was enjoyable to read, it kept me engaged and entertained throughout. It is a little on the sweeter side though compared to the two previous books in this series but that being said it still has plenty of hot moments . As for the two lead characters, I loved Donovan especially in Reece and Callie's story and he didn't disappoint in this one either. As for Mara I liked her and thought she fit with him well.
This one for me though did take a while to get going, but once Mara and Donovan had decided to be a couple. I got into the story more, even if they were having to sneak around. Overall though I did enjoy it a lot and this is actually the second time I've read it and I would happily read it again in the future.

Love this series. Hot Male characters, beautiful Female characters and smoking love scenes. Phoenix, Reese and Donovan have been best friends forever. Phoenix found love in book one with Thalia and Reese found Callie in book two. This is Donovan's story. Donovan is in love with Reese's younger sister Mara who is seven years younger than him. Mara is also in love with Donovan, she has been forever. They try to stay away, but it is obvious to everyone they are attracted to one another. Can they stay away or will Donovan go against his best friend's wishes to stay away from his sister.
They have amazing chemistry together. I think Donovan is my favorite in this series. Truly an amazing book boyfriend!!

Book 3 in The Bad Boy Rockers Series and Lexi Buchanan has done it again. This for me is the best in the series so far.......
This is Donavon and Mara's story. Mara has loved Donavon for the last 2 years but there are a couple of obstacles in her way.....
He is 25 she is 18 but the biggest problem is he is her big brother Reece's best friend and Reece has already warned Donavan to stay away from Mara.........
Can they get past these issues or will they fall at the first hurdle .........
Donavan turns out to be a real sweetheart with lots of sex appeal and he will do what ever he needs to get his girl.......
What follows is a love story but there are secrets, lies and tragedy, will they get their HEA ..........

I am so mad with myself right now!! When I first discovered the Kindle app and this author, I just rated but didn't write a review!! So I am rectifying that now!
I love this series and since discovering it, I have re-read soooo many times. I make no secret that I love everything that this author had released and The Bad Boy Rockers are like my family. It's like going home every time. It's also no secret that Phoenix is my man but Donavan comes a close second!

This is one of my favourite series ever!
I loved Mara and Donovan's story another one delivered by the lovely lexi that I just could not escape these books are everything you want your romantic life to be sexy, funny, heartthrobbing , at times heart breaking and very romantic. Donovan is like a life sized cuddly bear and to me he screamed sensitive he's the boyfriend you want to keep and the friend that everyone needs in their life. hopeless Romantics you need these books yesterday!!! 5 huge cuddly bear stars lexi well done you smashed it !

Absolutely loved this book, Lexi never fails to make you feel every emotion out there. I couldn't out it doen band had a book hangover for it but it was worth it. Loved Donavon throughout this series and was landed he got his own book. I loved that after battling with himself he finally made a move and got his women who loved him will all her heart but also she could put him in his place!

Another fantastic read by Lexi Buchanan! Once again I fell completely in love with this story. I have been a fan of this series from the beginning and can't wait to see what is in store for us in the next book. If you are looking for another hot read this is definitely the one. Mara and Donovan will have you completely hooked and begging for more.
