In this international suspense thriller, the governments of the United States, Britain, India, and Russia wage war on terrorists bent on disrupting the global oil market and causing a catastrophic environmental disaster. At the heart of the story is John Ingram, the ambitious head of the Fortune 500 Company Ingram Energy. When he enters the race to win a multi-billion-dollar contract for the world’s largest oil refinery in South India, Ingram wagers not only his company but also his personal wealth. His greatest competitor is Akito, the wily president of the Narumi Energy Corporation, a Japanese energy conglomerate controlled by Yakuza, the Japanese underworld organization. Akito will do anything to destroy his rival, so when Ingram boards a plane for India, planning to petition for the contract in person, his decision sets off a chain reaction of international proportions. A terrorist organization intent on global oil control threatens to shoot down the plane, beginning a fast-paced narrative that will propel readers from the oil capitals of the world to the seedy alleyways of Tokyo to the heart of London. Based on current international tensions, Quick Draw is a suspenseful thriller that will keep readers spellbound until the very last page.
