Ooh Step Sisters…
Lovely quick read! The main characters were fun and the connection was almost immediate! Quickly becoming friends to then becoming more was quick in the story telling but not really too much in the story timeline. The bit of angst was hard since you could kind of see both sides (yes we get both pov’s but their reasoning too) One one hand though forcing someone to come out isn’t ok but not being able to be in that situation is also understandable. Also refusing to EVER come out to never acknowledge their relationship is what kind of relationship? So yes these girls go through it and of course this author shows us how they can get their hea.

This story had so many issues thrown into it - considering it is an exceedingly short book/novella.
A widower in a new relationship - wants to move her in but she is homophobic. Apparently she is working on it becoming less of an issue. Her relationship sort of depends on it as he lives with his daughter - an out and proud lesbian and he won't tolerate homophobia towards her.
She moves in and brings her adult daughter with her. [Quite why these adults need to live with their parents is beyond me.]
So the 2 young women in the house are now step sisters.
Who better to get it on with than your new step sister?!
The step/mother finds out and is - let me see - homophobic. And blames the original lesbian for corrupting her darling daughter.
The 'sisters' split up.
Then they get back together again - still living with their parents at this stage.
The homophobe sorts herself out.
The End

Tempted by the CEO I found was a fast-paced and fairly engaging read that kept things moving from start to finish. While some of the plot points felt a little far-fetched, the story was entertaining enough to hold my interest and made for an easy, semi enjoyable read. That said, the ending felt somewhat rushed in places, as if it wrapped up a little too quickly. Overall, not perfect, but still a solid book if you’re in the mood for something light and dramatic?!

confusing
Firstly… a CEO who lives with her dad.
Has a fight with GF and in a week, with no planning, leaves the company and moved to EU.
I like there to be some believability but this book has none.
I couldn’t work out the ages of the two main protagonists. They sounded and acted like they were 14 but I was being expected to believe one was a CEO.
It didn’t work for me

Juliette couldn't get out of the closet but love found a way. Olivia couldn't live a lie so sheleft, until... Read tis lovely story, short and sweet, easy to follow with a predictable ending, maybe... Love the book.

I loved it!!! The story was spicy and hot, but also you could easily be seen in their shoes. It has some sentimental moments where you want to stop reading and cry with the character. I will pick up another book by Emily!!!

Loved it
I love everything by this author. It's laugh out loud funny, heartfelt, and relatable. The characters are amazing. Can't wait to read all of her books.
