Ok, I normally don't put these reads on Goodread, but this book made me angry. I was super excited for an angst filled friends -> enemies -> lovers, but you're telling me that he rejected her in college because he didn't want her to know he likes handcuff action?? And they were BEST FRIENDS in college and she never knew? That's really unrealistic, because if you were TRULY best friends in COLLEGE, you'd both have shared your BDSM online result percentages at some point, or Rice Purity score. And if THAT'S his reasoning to not enter a relationship, where it's PURELY based off sex, then he shouldn't be pursuing a relationship at ALL, because it's wholly based on using the other person for personal gratification and that's WRONG. This just felt incredibly shallow, and while I completely understood the story the author was trying to convey, there was just so many holes that really did this romance wrong

Friends to enemies to lovers in a "guests of a wedding" setting. Fairly tame for BDSM exploration but if you are new to spice, this also might be too much for you. Quick, easy, and fun ride but nothing new was brought to the table and that's okay, too!!

All Tied Up had ME all tied up in knots. I was bound to it, and read it in one sitting.
Let me start by saying. The steam in this book is hot, hot, hotttt.
Their interactions are, simply put, DELICIOUS 🥵🥵
As someone who's been in the lifestyle many years, I ALWAYS hesitate to read books that depict BDSM content as its frequently misrepresented. However....the behind the scenes feelings, the fact we were showed his long term self judgement, the way the communication and laying out how how the dynamic works was portrayed between Evan and Cat, and the respectful way in which the rigger kink was explored as an all encompassing lifestyle and not purely a sexual "moment" all meant I enjoyed every second and got to really enjoy the chemistry, the steamy, and the story, without being impeded by concerns of how it was all represented.
We got to focus on 2 people coming together in the most stunning display of partnership and connection and I totally fell head over heels for both Evan's dominant and caring nature, and Cat's gentle and open minded love for him and willingness to explore something that made him happy, and them complete.
Getting to see both their concerns and insecurities being aired out in a perfect example of what a healthy dynamic looks like (after a veeery brief period of each of them attempting silly games coming simply from a place of fear) was refreshing and while I'm not a gushy romantic person, my heart was happy during so many moments throughout.
I ran out of this story far too quickly. Where's the rest Kati??!!
I need more, and everyone needs to read this!

First read of a Kati McRae book, I’m impressed. I liked her writing style and also the way she portrayed her main characters being relatable.

I was unable to put this book down. It had me hooked from page 1. I was eager to see their journey and how they would reconnect. The visuals was definitely one of my favourite parts of the books. I felt like I was able to see everything happen right in front of me while I read.
Oh the smut...let's talk about the smut I meannnnn 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Kati knocked it out the park with this one.
I disliked some characters which showed how well she wrote them. I cheered for the main characters all the way through. I can't wait for part 2..hopefully there is one 😅 so I can continue enjoying their journey together.

Spicy dark romance with great character development !
Loved this novel! The author did well with developing the characters as believable— as well as, how they navigated through their issues was also believable, and the bedroom kink was perfectly spicy!

The ‘friends to lovers’ is a favorite trope of mine, so I was relieved to see this author did it right!
Evan’s misunderstanding with Cat and his genuine fear of revealing his kink to his friends layered his character well— he felt like a real person with real struggles and not just some sex-crazed guy.
And the way she accepted him, and how he helped her navigate through his kink was perfect!

Kati Rae has done it again! All Tied Up had me engrossed since the first page. When Kati writes a book she definitely puts her heart into it and you can see that when she created her main characters, Cat and Evan. Her descriptive detail is well written and I felt like I was watching a movie the whole time reading this book. The steamy scenes are a must to read… wow … is all I can say about that lol. You will not be disappointed! A must read 😁

I've been a big fan of Kati's for a while now and have been eagerly awaiting the release of All Tied Up. She doesn't disappoint.

Definitely suggest this book! It gives you just the right amount of smut without going over the top for those that like a good plot with some smut. It gives triggers warnings where they are needed as well which is nice if you get triggered by books! Nothing to graphic though that would cause people to not be able to finish the book! Once I started I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one day! LOVE IT!

I absolutely love it!!! Friends to lover? Oh yes!!! Always like it when the male lead realises his feelings and hoping it’s not too late to redeem himself. I love how Kati dig into the character’s personalities and insecurities too.

Kati will draw you in from the beginning with Cat and Evan’s story. Her detail to the characters, their backgrounds, the setting of the story, and events going on around them made me feel like I was there! Some scenes are hot and steamy, but very well written!! Definitely a book to read, you won’t want to miss out!

I absolutely loved this contemporary romance story.
Kati Rae is an amazing author and i have enjoyed all of her stories.
I could not put the story down. I fell in love with her main characters who were extremely relatable.
This story has it all with the ride or die best friend, friends to lovers and gets very steamy.

I loved sitting down and reading this second chance friends to lovers book!!! The angst, smut, and story was amazing and well written! It left me on the end of my seat waiting for what was going to happen next!! I would absolutely recommend this book!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this writer. She takes the kink and sexiness and delivers them in a most appealing way. This story of fallout and reconnect has you holding onto every word and reading in a hurry just to see what happens. This is definitely a must read

I couldn't put it down !
This story is short but you do not feel like you are missing anything. It's just the right amount of explanation and depths mixed up (or tied up?) whit just the right amount of spicy !
