This is the omnibus version and contains all three books in the trilogy, including extended scenes and bonus material not found elsewhere! Hunter Thorn is on the run, living daily in fear of discovery and retaliation from the mafia leaders he once betrayed.Sanctum is a planet practically cut off from the rest of the galaxy, where ruthless people who can control the elements rule. The Emperor has turned his back on the people, more interested in lining his pockets than waging war against the Brumal mafia. Hunter once worked for the Snow family, but a threat against his sister forced him to choose a side, and in the end, he chose wrong. He's been paying for that choice ever since, constantly moving, traveling across the planet in an attempt to hide. But everyone knows there's no such thing as escape from a regular Brumal member if they want you, let alone from one of the Three.Odin Snow, the Dominus of the Snow family, had everything taken from him ten years ago. He's clawed his way ruthlessly back to the top, reclaiming his family name and their rightful place amongst the Brumal. Mostly. There's still his step-brother to deal with, Isa Frost, the orchestrator of everything unfortunate that has ever happened to Odin. And then there's Hunter. As teens, Odin had looked up to the older boy, had even maybe cared for him, but all that'd got him was a bullet to the shoulder and months' worth of bedrest while Isa stripped away his title and family home. Now that he's found Hunter again, Odin isn't above using old feelings to get what he wants. The plan is to use Hunter to get under Isa's skin. Odin wants them hurting the same way he hurt. He wants to see them bleed. At least, that's what he always believed. But what happens when it turns out what he really wants is Hunter in his bed, at his mercy in a different way?On a planet ruled by criminals, does Hunter have a hope of escape, or will he be consumed by the very flames Odin Snow is famous for controlling?Trigger This is a dark romance with themes some readers may not be comfortable with. This includes torture, dubious consent, depictions of violence, explicit sexual content not suitable for younger readers, and drug usage (though only mildly shown on page). If any of the above-mentioned aren't to your tastes, please do not read this book. I have other Sci-Fi MM books available that are not considered part of the Dark genre that may be more suitable for you. Again, this version contains all three books in the trilogy, each with its own set of triggers. Please be aware when going into it, thank you!
Librarians, please don't add books. I stay up to date and add them myself and have ended up with many multiple copies because others add them later. Thank you!
Chani majored in Creative Writing at Johnson State College in Vermont. To pay her bills, she has worked many odd jobs, including, but not limited to, telemarketing, order picking in a warehouse, and filling ink cartridges. When she isn’t writing, she’s binging TV shows, drawing, or frequenting zoos/aquariums. She is the author of the Xenith trilogy, and the teen paranormal series, The Underworld Saga, originally written under the penname Tempest C. Avery. She currently resides in Connecticut.
A Whisper in the Dark is the epic story between Odin Snow and Hunter Thorn. They have an amazing enemies-to-lovers dynamic that kept me hooked from the start. They have an intense history with one another, which leads to a visceral reunion where neither can hide from their shared past.
Another amazing element of this story is the world-building that creates such an epicness in scope while maintaining the passion and obsessiveness both Odin and Hunter have for one another. I love how their connection builds over time and eventually grows into something unique and original while adding a whole new layer to this story.
Overall this is a fantastic story that I could not put down. I love the world-building, the vast array of complicated characters, and the fascinating lore that reveals such intense complications for both Odin and Hunter. I could not get enough of these two with their wild and unhinged interactions that kept me anxiously anticipating what would come next. This story is a favorite of mine due to its brilliantly captured possessive moments between Hunter and Odin which makes for an unforgettable dark romance.
Disclaimer: I received a review copy for free via BookSirens, and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts. Many thanks to the author for the opportunity!
This is a special book for me since it's my first series from Chani. Rereading it a year later, I'm bumping it to 4.5 and rounding it up. It's a great omnibus -- but do be sure to check out Wren's story novella as well that isn't included here. I did like the cute bonus content which came in the form of interviews and also extended author notes. Full RTC!
Once again, another fabulous series by this author. I'm so happy we get to see the Shouts use their powers here, because in Echo Baikal didn't really use his much. But finally reading about Sanctum and the home of the Brumal was so much fun. Am I so sick that it literally took me until the end of the last chapter of the last book to put together Huntsman + Snow = Snow White references? Yes, yes it did. I am curious about the Yellow Brick Road and Wren. There is so, so much potential there. All that being said, it did feel like there were a few plotholes or hmmm things changes? Not a ton and (again I'm sick) I could be misremembering if Hunter was actually bleeding at the end of the book, but yeah not a huge thing...
Any how, it is dark, please read the content warnings! I also really loved the bonus content which had me giggling. They are so ridiculous, I love them.
4,5/5 I’m truly TRULY in love with Chani Lynn Feener’s writing and world. The world is wide and full of interesting figures all throughout the planets. No matter the plot it’s always such an amazing journey to read about the world he created. What I love more about her writing is that it’s never just romance. Don’t get me wrong, you do get romance whether it’s kind of a fucked up love or swooning love or both at the same time the plot will suck you in the world and will not let you stop reading till you are finished with it and craving so much more. In A Whisper In The Dark, we have one of the Brumal Odin searching for a ten years of revenge. Meanwhile Hunter is escaping from his past and from world of Brumals. After an impossible mission given to him and made him lose his family and safety Hunter has been on the run but a different kind of revenge has been searching for him. While Odin and Hunter try to get over the past that haunted them and broke their hearts the world around them brings old feelings they had for each other. For this to work they need to get over the hurt they caused to each other and try to navigate through the new feelings that are blooming. If you are familiar with Chani Lynn’s writing you must know that it won’t be an easy journey yet buckle up! If you have enjoyed other books from her you will definitely also fall in love with this. Two characters who can not help but fall for each other again and again despite the everything that has happened, learning to trust and love. I loved the plot, I loved the characters and once again I truly love the writing style. I don’t know if we will have more from Wren but I truly would love to have these characters come back to us. I received a review copy for free from BookSirens, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you for the free copy! :)
--- Book One --- I liked Call of the Sea, so I just had to check out more of Feener's work.
I liked the mix of contemporary, sci-fi, and fantasy elements. We have mafia bosses, hovercars, and elemental magic all fitting together smoothly in the same book! I'm also a fan of dark fantasy, and the battle between love and betrayal sounded intriguing.
Initially, the pull between the two main characters appears to be simple lust. As the story progresses, though, they reveal deeper feelings for one another...kind of. I'm having trouble understanding where their chemistry is coming from. It's said time and time again that they like each other...but why, exactly?
I think part of my issue is that much of this story is told through exposition. Pages after pages of characters explaining the same past events. This was interesting at first, but after a while I realized hardly anything was happening in the present. It would have made more sense to set this book earlier in the timeline so we could actually see these events happen rather than hear about them secondhand time and time again.
--- Book Two ---
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book for many of the the same reasons I did not enjoy the first book.
The characters remain preoccupied with past events to the point that not much actually happens. As they rehash the same memories again and again, I found myself skimming to find the next plot point. Similarly, they often repeat the same ideas: if Odin has to directly tell me he's "not a good guy" one more time I'm throwing my Kindle. SHOW me.
There's a twist at the end, but honestly... by that time I was so burnt out that I didn't feel anything in particular. This dampened what was supposed to be an emotional revelation.
--- Book Three ---
Things did not really get better. My concerns about characters and motivations being inconsistent with no chemistry remain.
Now that the series is complete, I can say I am disappointed that the numerous Snow White references that never pay off. Snow, the Huntsman, Magic Mirror, the apples. Nothing about these characters or their world has anything to do with the fairytale. The author has notes at the end saying that this is due to story changes and they just kept what felt "right" to them. Unfortunately this does not necessarily feel "right" from a reader's perspective.

Thank you for the chance to read the omnibus edition for free. I'm leaving this review of my own accord.
I don’t know how many time I’ve reread hunterodin but it wont stop.
WOW
One of my favourite trilogy’s I’ve ever read and it’s because of Odin Snow. The man that he is 🫡 Him capturing Hunter after 10 years because of the betrayal and wanting to ruin hunter’s life just for it to go down the drain because he became so obsessed with the huntsman.
“Even if it takes weeks,” he whispered, voice so low it was barely audible, “or months. Even if I have to break you down first, I’ll make you see what I do. You’re mine, Huntsman. Like you were always meant to be.”
The captor-captive was twisted and I loved it. I loved seeing both of them denying their attractions for each other because of the situation they were in. Odin bringing hunter to use against Isa but in the end he realised what a big mistake it was and did everything in his power to protect hunter.
Odin is honestly the best Brumal leader and husband. The way he took care of Hunter especially finding out he was a whisper was everything. He’s a real MAN.
“I want your love, Huntsman. I want you to care about me and only me. I want to be your family.” Him wanting Hunter’s love because he never experienced it and being jealous of hunter’s love for his sister 😭
The spicy scenes were one of the best I’ve read. Odin just knows his way with words. “Take me just like that. You’re being so good for me, baby. Look at the way your greedy hole swallows me up.” I DIED
“I’ve got you. You can take it, Huntsman.” He fucked him deep again. “Little whisper.” And again. “Baby.” Again, this time hard enough, Hunter’s eyes rolled back in his head. “Husband.” WHERE CAN I FIND A ODIN SNOW???
Loved how at any chance, odin would remind hunter that he shot him, he so petty 😭
Also, I loved how much of a good leader Odin was. The way he took care of his people and showed leadership and trust to them. I loved the scene where he trusted Wren to look after Hunter after the incident even though he was struggling to leave because he didn’t want anyone (especially another shout) near his shout but be had serious Brumal issues to deal with. I loved the friendship between him and Wren and that he valued him a lot to leave him to watch over Hunter. + his relationship with the twins and taking them in as his own 🥹
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I must say I’VE NEVER BEEN MORE IN LOVE. Odin is the perfect man, the way he was so possessive and so sweet in his own way, the way he was ready to give up everything for Hunter … He’s just PERFECT. I love him so so much. AND HUNTER 😭😭😭 my beautiful whisper 🤍, the way he tells odin off made me love him so much. I am obsessed with him and his snarky comments and how he stood up to Odin and everyone. I can’t wait for Wren’s story now!! One of my fav books from you and an easy 5 stars!!! 🤍
A Whisper in the Dark is an incredible book. Okay, in a full disclosure, the author, Chani Lynn Feener, is one of my favorite top dark authors. I revel in each word in this story as I revel in all of her dark stories.
I am torn over the rating, but ultimately, struggled with an early incident, some inconsistency, and a plot thread that was set up and dropped. But overall, I highly recommend this trilogy to readers of dark, twisted, messed-up romance! I loved so many things about it and will re-read. Do mind the author's TWs; they are no joke.
I was disappointed to learn, in book 1, that the author is not, in fact, always "safe for me." But I still thoroughly enjoyed books 2 and 3, and 1 as well after I got past a certain sex-with-others event. Luckily it was early enough in the book not to ruin the series for me. And most people won't care about it, so, if you love truly twisted dark MM romance, dive right in! (FYI, "safe for me" means no sex with others on page after an MC-connection is established, whether a couple is committed and fully involved or not. If there's an emotional connection/tension, then, for me? any encounter with others is emotional cheating. That's the case here.)
Book 1--this is three stars for me, due to the above mentioned incident. It's early enough that I got past it and was able to be immersed in the relationship, but I really could have done without it and feel there were other ways to create the tension and conflict satisfyingly without stooping to it. But as noted, most readers won't care a bit! I'm admittedly weird about it.
Hunter and Odin's past is fraught with betrayal. I utterly loved that Hunter was secretly into Odin in the past, and thought no one knew, despite how he always followed Odin with his gaze and reveled anytime Odin was kind to him (and it was so out of character for Odin!). Being forced to make an impossible choice and (attempt) to murder Odin truly messed Hunter up, but, he didn't succeed, for a reason that is fantastic when it’s revealed. I loved what these two are to each other, and it ties to the title of the series, A Whisper in the Dark. I won't say more, but, they have complementary qualities, and I just loved it. Terrific worldbuilding element, author!
Hunter's been on the run for a decade, and now Odin has captured him. Their captor-captive relationship is inappropriate, twisted, full of non-con, but not really because that attraction Hunter's always had for Odin is still there, and his guilt over having to choose someone he loved deeply over the man he wished he could be with was utterly fabulous and so full of tension and conflict. Odin can't believe a word Hunter says, but seeing Odin fall into fascination with Hunter and be unable to kill him or let him go was riveting and created a tremendous tension and a trilogy that practically read itself. This author knows how to keep conflict high and pages flipping. Having Isa Frost, the man Odin was involved with in the past when Hunter was pining for him, and who is also Odin's stepbrother and responsible for the current utterly messed-up situation, as the main antagonist added layers upon layers of twists and emotional upheaval that created a truly incendiary read.
Books 2 and 3 were stronger for me, 4 and 5 stars, as Hunter's deepest secret is revealed and an actual mating ritual is established that gave the series a fabulous fated-mates feel for the world. Fantastic, addictive reading, if you like this kind of truly dark romance. I love it.
Main issues: Odin’s feelings for Hunter are inconsistent. You can’t set things up by showing that, in the past, he was aware of Hunter’s crush but didn’t return it and was going to let him down gently, and then flip around and say oh, actually, he always did want Hunter and only just realizes it now. That didn’t work and undercut the back story setup. I’d believe that in the past Odin wanted what he saw Hunter provide his sister, but, it’s very clear that Odin was hyper-focused on Isa in the past, not pining for Hunter. And to try to reverse that perception in the present didn’t work and was annoying and unecessary.
Then, there’s a plot element that isn’t resolved. MILD SPOILER (it doesn’t impact the main story at all)
HEA, enemies (MAJOR enemies!) to lovers, mafia-esque feel, strong world-building, but mainly focused on the relationship in a great way. One incident of one MC having s3x with others early on, though before the two get together and start their truly twisted, unique relationship, so, it was get-through-able, if unnecessary. Highly recommended for those who love messed-up romance.
Which one of them was really the one on the leash? Was a cage still a cage if the person trapped inside of it wanted to be there? Was the man in charge really in charge when he'd jump at a single word from his supposed captive? 🤔
This is the omnibus version of the trilogy that bears the same name, composed by You Will Never Know , Don't Breathe a Word and Don't Let Me Go which were previously published in 2022-2023 and was one of the author's first attempts with the Dark Romance genre, so it is not as dark as her newer books, but still be sure to read the list of content warnings.
The story begins ten years after the incident that triggers the plot: Hunter's betrayal of Odin orchestrated by Isa. During those ten years, Odin has focused on rebuilding the Snow family's Brumal Mafia Branch, making plans to destroy the Frost family's Brumal Mafia Branch, and searching for Hunter under every stone on the planet until he finally finds him.
This book could be described as a friends to enemies to lovers Sci-fantasy version of the classic tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and let me tell you, it is the best Snow White retelling I have ever read, ever!
It's not necessary to tell you that I liked the book, because I loved it, and at this point I don't think there is a book by this author that I haven't liked or that I won't like. First we have Odin, who is a morally gray character, leader of the Snow Brumal mafia, administrator of the Club Cherry and the entire red-light district of his planet, Sanctum. Since he is a Shout, he can control fire. He is ruthless, has no mercy and doesn't care what he must do to get what he wants, and he has the patience to calmly wait for the perfect moment to put his plans into action. But at the same time he is attentive, caring, considerate, manipulative of course (remember he is morally gray), but he has a soft spot for Hunter, and ultimately that's all that matters!
In total opposition to Odin, Isa controls the ice, but his personality is impulsive, uncontrolled, and impatient. That was something that I really liked, that their personalities are the opposite of the qualities of the elements they can control.
Something I really appreciate is that the World building didn't feel heavy. The author introduces us to this universe made up of other species, each with unique characteristics, such as Shouts and Wihpers. There are other planets and galaxies not far from the planet where this story takes place, advanced technology and an entire society that survives on a governed planet by the families of the Brumal mafia and its different branches. And she tells us all this organically, as the story develops and without excessive detailed descriptions, only what is necessary for the reader to understand how everything works and gives the opportunity for each reader to fill in any blank space with their own imagination.
As always, it was an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to Wren and Sun's book. Thanks to booksirens and the author for this arc.
surprisingly tame for what i’ve seen from chani lynn feener before. i’m not complaining at all, it was kinda refreshing, but the romance in this one didn’t blow me away
now none of this authors couples are really super romantic in the traditional sense, and maybe i’d argue that odin and hunter were the most romantic, but i didn’t really buy into it either. i felt a lot of sexual chemistry, and the fact that they clearly liked each other when they were younger (and everyone around them knew it) was really cute. but in the present day, the sex really carried their relationship. it would’ve been nice to see more of them actually showing how they fell in love with each other
that and a lot of the romance felt like it was on the back burner compared to all the action and drama with isa. don’t get me wrong, that stuff was interesting, but it was a little too dominating of the story as a whole. i feel like the other books i’ve read by chani have had a greater emphasis on the couple, even if they weren’t typically romantic. i guess i can’t really keep comparing this one to all her other books since im pretty sure she said this was her first dip into dark romance, but this is just how i feel as someone who read the tamest of the bunch last.
odin and hunter as characters were fine. for as long as the book was, i don’t feel like i got to know them too well, but i did like aspects of their characters. i liked how different odin was from a typical mafia boss character. he seemed to really care about his people and his friendship with wren was really nice. hunter was a decent character too, but he felt more unturned than odin.
all in all, not too bad of a time. just slightly underwhelming.
technically it is three books combined into one, but i liked reading the story more this way than if they had been separate books.
odin snow is so so so hot. i love him. i love his possessiveness, his protectiveness, and the way he isn’t afraid to take what he wants. he’s just so attractive and my god is hunter lucky. i also loved hunter and the way he teases odin, falls hard for him even if he won’t admit it, and becomes just as protective of odin.
the plot of this book was also really good. i loved the politics of the brumal, the full blown war with isa, and everything in between. i wasn’t really surprised by the plot twist because a similar plot twist happened in another book i read by this author, but it was still sad. i loved the action and the moments when the story was very fast paced, but i also really loved the moments when it was just odin and hunter talking. i wish we got a bit more of them doing cute outings together after hunter asked odin to take him out of their home, but they clearly had big threats so that wasn’t possible. and the smut in this book omg, some of the best i have ever read for sure. it was so good.
i really love this author’s books and can’t wait to read more by her. i don’t always love the resistance between the couples in the beginning, but i love when they finally admit their feelings for each other and become very possessive.
This is a great enemies to lovers mafia drama, but throw in that it’s set on another planet with a paranormal twist. I love the obsessive/possessive alpha MCs AND we have a grumpy/grumpy pairing! There’s quite a few plot twists to be found, which definitely changes our perspective on our villain. Moving on to the next part of this omnibus!
Don’t Breathe a Word
This book picks up right where YWNK lets off. There’s a lot of push and pull in this one which I LOVE. Hunter isn’t a meek mouse and Odin wouldn’t want him that way anyways. Nice surprise at the end, I just hope it plays out well for our Huntsman.
Don’t Let Me Go
What a great ending to this series. Hunter has really grown into an amazingly strong character throughout this series. And Odin, while the core of him hasn’t changed and he still the possessive, obsessive, dominant alpha MC that we love, has made a lot of changes to his character as well and his prime focus now is on Hunter. Isa is…crazy and delusional. Either Odin is really great in the sack or Isa thinks that highly of himself. I loved how the final showdown scene played out. Great omnibus and story by Chani, as usual!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
My Review I received a copy of this book from Book Sirens. This book is already out. Trigger Warnings for this book- This is a dark romance with themes some readers may not be comfortable with. This includes torture, dubious consent, depictions of violence, explicit sexual content not suitable for younger readers, and drug usage (though only mildly shown on page). If any of the above-mentioned aren't to your tastes, please do not read this book. A Whisper in the Dark Omnibus is the complete trilogy of Hunter and Odin's story. I enjoyed the roller coaster of a ride these two took me on. I loved watching the grow and learn about themselves and truly realize the depths. of their love for each other and how far they are both willing to go for each other. I love Hunter and Odin and I will miss them. I am very glad that I can reread their story whenever I want. I am also glad that I read the omnibus as I am not the most patient of people and waiting to read and or searching of each book in the trilogy would have made me crazy. Another job well done Chani Lynn Feener in my opinion. Until next time peace and happy reading.
I've read many of other Chani's books so it was nice revisiting what was her first dip into this genre of dark romance MM. It really does feel like a predecessor.
There are times where the exposition is thick to build the world around Odin and Hunter. It always sticks out like a sore thumb to me but it's fine. The topics are not nearly as dark as some of the other books but still pretty up there. I've always been drawn to macabre though though some sort of morbid curiousity. I would say this one doesn't quite scratch that itch but it's pleasant enough.
Odin is really stereotypical big bad mafia boss. He gets what he wants and he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to do so. Hunter is more interesting to me but he falls a bit flat for me. A man on the run suddenly turning into a bottom bitch about into the second book. I really wish I could've seen more of Hunter in action but the ending was satisfying enough.
I like their dynamic even if it softens a bit more in the second book. What can I say? I'm a sucker for romance even if its fucked up.
It's a decent read and I would read it again but it wouldn't be the first book I went to.
This is the whole trilogy of the Snow/Frost series. It starts with Hunter being tortured but rescued by Odin Snow, a "Shout" and Brumal Mafia Dominus. Once Hunter tried to kill Odin, now the shoe is on the other foot. Odin uses him to taunt his stepbrother Frost, fighting Hunter and his attraction until they can't anymore and finds out Hunter's secret. Each book builds on the last until an awesome conclusion. I absolutely love these books! Chani is awesome at world building until you just accept everything about this world. Her trilogy is full of danger, steamy passion and obsession and one surprise after the next. Odin and Hunter are a force to be reckoned with when they combine and the sexy times are burning hot. The books are a combination of fantasy, sci fi and dark romance filled with jealousy, possessiveness and volatile emotions. I need to know what Wren is up to! I will reread these books over and over. I received a copy of this book through BookSirens and this is my honest opinion.
What I like about Chani's books is that they have plot. We have a great dose of steamy, spicy scenes but they are well complement with charming, strong characters and also an intriguing story sprinkled with some mystery. "A Whisper in the Dark" is actually an omnibus, a collection of the 3 books that have Odin and Hunter as main characters. It was an entertaining read but at times the pace was slower and sometimes it was a bit repeating. What I appreciated though is that the author was not afraid to kill characters. I was sad they were gone but it's refreshing to see that not everyone survives and actions have repercussions. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
3.5 stars. Labeled a dark romance, and I can see how this was her first dark romance because it kind of straddles the line (where her other dark romances are firmly over the line, lol). Still, I really enjoyed this story. So much of it was captivating — the world, the romance, the side characters. I do feel like there was a lot of missed opportunity for depth, which is always more painful when I’m really drawn to the story. I think I would’ve liked this more as a dual-timeline. There was more exposition than necessary to “catch the reader up,” and that got distracting, not to mention some important tidbits were randomly revealed right before they were important. Overall really enjoyed this story, though.
I love reading all three books of the "Whisper in the Dark" series in this omnibus.
Odin's and Hunter's chemistry hooked me from the start and I finished this book in a day. They had an amazing dynamic and I highly enjoyed this enemies to lovers story.
I loved the worldbuilding and I want to read more about Sanctum. There are other books written in the same world and I am planning to read them.
Thank you BookSirens for the e-ARC. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Damn this book was long, but it was really good! It never felt like it was dragging or like I wanted to skim to get to the end.
It has action, trauma, playful banter, tension (of the good and bad variety), a few plot twists you don't see coming (and a few you do), some very spicy dubcon, and some even more spicy consent. It isn't consumed with smut but it is in there. The plot is there and the author does a good job of letting things play out organically and leaving no stones unturned.
HOWEVER, does Wren have his own book? It never said what happened with him and the emperor so...? Wtf.
2.5 rounded 3 because I really like the author. Why? Idk, her books are a hit or miss with me but when she hits.... oooof, she hits hard. This is one of those rare "neither" not a hit nor a miss, it was just mid. The plot was not plotting and the characters were childlike and underdeveloped, Odin was so contradictory in his "development" and understanding of himself that I was flabbergasted that he is in fact a successful mafia boss. Or maybe is just me. Whatever I didn't dislike this books per se I just didn't enjoy them, finishing this read felt like a chore.
A journey definitely best read like this, in a Series set with all the extras that you never know you needed! Yes, this story takes place in very dark world, but if you are like me and love an intense, passionate and well overly obsessive romance you will eat this one up like I did. Hunter and Oden's relationship spans time and is complicated. The world building is complex on this planet and Hunter and Oden are not your ordinary fairytale romance. But they are epic!
Here we have the complete narrative arc of Odin and Hunter. It’s enemies to lovers with the kind of vibrant intensity that keeps pages turning— the world building is compelling in its own right but it’s the dynamic between the central characters that really shines. If dark romance is your thing, this one is engrossing in all the right ways.
*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Odin Snow is obsessive, Hunter Thorn is stuck, and both of their characters are messed up, but at the same time, are absolutely fascinating. I loved their powers and how they handle situations. I did want to knock some sense into Odin and Hunter for not listening to each other at points. But I loved how they came together, and how the story ended.
Highly recommend!
I received a review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Chani Lynn Feener writes dark romance that is positively addictive. This is the omnibus of a complete trilogy. Each book builds off the last and follows Hunter and Odin. Her characters are always complex so watching their growth over the course of the series is fulfilling.
I don't want to give anything away so I'm saying read the book for yourself. Read the author's not first.
All the things I could ever want are in this series and I loved it! Having read most of Chani Lynn Feener’s other books I have to say this one stands out as a favorite! I loved Odin and Hunters chemistry from the beginning and such a good plot. Highly recommended!
