Dimensional
This is a compilation of various forms of poetry, in rhyme and prose form. Its presentation is a representation of the duality shared by both the book and myself as the author. It contains a combination of poetry in Spanish and English, with a few sparks of French here and there. And this multilingual approach is key for how it all presents itself.
These original works come from different stages in my life, and present the evolution and growth that came from the experiences that inspired them, even if the works themselves are not in chronological order. Among these words you will find various layers that define what was, what is and, in some instances, what will always be. They are the truth, the lie and the hard reality, defragmented into snippets of rhymed madness.
The book itself is presented in an experimental "dual" design. Consider it two books in one. Very much created by a multilingual author and intended for multilingual minds, and still very accessible for English and Spanish speakers alike. Allow yourself the chance to experiment this vision with me.
The project was born from the necessity to curate the poetic repertoire in my portfolio, with the intention of re-releasing them to the world. It became an amalgam of old and new works that hold an intense power and voice. A selection of those that could be considered "the golden eggs" within my poetic efforts so far. It became clear that they needed a different approach when it came to making them public, and this is surely one way to do that.
