The Forged in Steel chronicle continues: ordered by Modius, the Prince of Gary, to present themselves to Lodin, the Prince of Chicago, a group of neonates find themselves shoved headlong into a maelstrom of Kindred intrigue. While the characters desperately search for Lodin, the Prince inexplicably disappears, and one of his lieutenants blames the visitors from Gary. Ashes to Ashes is a story supplement designed for use with Vampire, and it continues the story that began in Baptism by Fire. It includes all the characters and information you need to tell a complete four chapter story. The book also presents an Advanced Storytelling - the Villain's Flashback – to accentuate the theme and mood of the story.

A classic Vampire: The Masquerade module that I decided to re-run for my players recently. The premise is Lodin the Prince of Chicago has been kidnapped and the neonates (the PCs) are being blamed for it. They have a few nights, at most, before they're killed and must either find Lodin or prove someone else killed him.
The module is pretty unnecessary save as a sequel to Baptism by Fire (the introductory module in the first two V:TM corebooks). It introduces some classic Chicago by Night characters but they're all in Chicago by Night itself. Also, the villain is the ghoul leader of a Satanic cult with an army of ghouled rats. That's a little weird. Still, this stands up better than most modules of its kind.
I give it 4 out of 5 blood drops.

Cenizas a las Cenizas fue una de las primeras aventuras publicadas para el juego de rol Vampiro: La Mascarada, y fue un muy buen comienzo. La aventura continúa, de hecho, los sucesos planteados en "Bautismo de fuego", la aventura introductoria que se podía encontrar en el manual del juego.
En esta aventura los personajes tienen que viajar a Chicago para transmitir un mensaje a Lodin, el Príncipe de la ciudad, y se ven envueltos en una tremenda intriga. No puedo detallar nada, obviamente, pero baste decir que es MUY a lo grande. Una de las cosas que más me ha gustado de esta aventura es que, según cómo se juegue, puede meter a los jugadores directamente en los mayores embolados de la ciudad, así, en frío, y acabar en un completo desastre que deje la ciudad patas arriba, o con los jugadores cubiertos de fama y gloria, o cualquier cosa en medio.
Así mismo, es interesante ver que hay cero énfasis en que el árbitro siga una historia prevista, ni nada. Les da igual, y eso es bueno. Hay múltiples lugares donde te dicen "si los jugadores no quieren hacer ninguna de estas cosas, tendrás que improvisar".
Es un muy buen producto, y una interesante mirada a cómo era uno de los juegos de rol más famosos de todos los tiempos cuando aún no se había cerrado en una forma definitiva. Recomendado.
