“A man in love has the compassion to run a great company and because of that, only a married man can own the family company.”So his father gives him six months to marry or he loses what he’s always wanted most. To run the family business. Declan could have his pick of women, but there is one problem. He doesn’t want just any one. He wants THE ONE. Not someone who wants the Whiskey Prince, someone who wants Declan.
“I want a girl that loves me for me, not because I am the Whiskey Prince of Ireland.”Amberlyn has been in Ireland about a month, working at her family’s pub and hanging out with her cousin. It’s hard, being without her parents. She’s trying to heal and move on with her life. Then she meets him. Declan. She has no idea what the big deal of the Whiskey Prince is. To her, he’s just a guy. A guy she really likes. Amberlyn has next to no experience with guys. She was always too busy taking care of her sick mother. Now, she thinks it may be time to follow her mom’s advice.
I know this girl is special and at this moment, I feel more like a king than a prince. And she is my queen.
‘She drives me wild and makes me feel so free.’

Of all the money that e'er I had
I've spent it in good company
And all the harm that e'er I've done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all
Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They would wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call
Good night and joy be with you all
A man may drink and not be drunk
A man may fight and not be slain
A man may court a pretty girl
And perhaps be welcomed back again
But since it has so ought to be
By a time to rise and a time to fall
Come fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all
Good night and joy be with you all

I want you to live all your dreams, and I think Ireland is the best place to do that.
...I want you to try for me, but I also want you to stay there for you. I miss you. I love you. Please don’t let us hold you back from living the most amazing life possible.

You are an O’Callaghan, Declan, act like one. Get married. You have only six months to do so before you are skipped in line.

I want a girl that loves me for me, not because I am the Whiskey Prince of Ireland.

Fucking shite, ya do! You go to the pub that your da’s mates drink at—not somewhere that would produce a wife.

“I plan on being pissy drunk,” one of my patrons informs me with a slight slur or maybe that’s his brogue, not sure, but he seems excited.
I look back at my cousin, Fiona, confused, and she shakes her head, a smile playing on her pouty lips.
“He plans on getting really drunk tonight,” she says in her just-as-thick Irish accent.
"...I figured if I’m the prince, I need to have armor for battle. I’m really into our history here, and I love the whole aspect of royalty and stuff.”
First, I am so turned on that he loves history, that’s hot, and second, I love the way he says prince.

“That’s so cool! I am, too. I love reading about Knights of the Round Table and cool shit like that. Best book ever is Lord of the Rings.”

“Fuck yeah, I love it, and Beowulf is another good one.”
“Heck yeah! I love that kind of stuff. I’m reading Pride and Prejudice right now.”

When I glance over my shoulder at him, he is smiling at me, moving his thumb along his bottom lip, causing my nipples to harden against my tank. Jesus, he is fine, and it surprises me how hot I am for him.
...I can’t help but feel drawn to him, and I know he is bound to be a fun time.
...Because Casey Burke is a walking risk.
One I want to take

She isn’t just entertaining me. It’s more than that, Da. I fancy her, a lot.
...Amberlyn is special. She owns my heart and because I love her, you should do the same. If you can’t, then you don’t love me.

A beautiful, ranch-style home is one of six that surround a large lake.
She is magnificent, beautiful, and I wish like hell I knew what color her eyes are.
“Yeah, you know, a lot of our beautiful town is full of women like that.”
[…]to get lost in a good book on a beautiful summer day.
God, he has beautiful lips, and I swear his eyes are darker than normal again.
Dropping my hand from the beautiful horse, I turn and make my way to the field.
