If you’re at all a sports romance fan, you’ll love the Wildcatters hockey players and the amazing women they’re falling for one by one. Former goalie and now coach, Adam Kramer, and his wife Naomi have found romance, are mentors in their group of friends, and now they’re having a baby.

Except it's too soon. The nursery isn’t completed, the go bag isn’t packed, and did I mention it's too soon? Not to mention, neither one had a stellar upbringing, and the parenting examples they had were abysmal. Of course this has them questioning their own capabilities. But early or not, baby boy Kramer has decided it's time to make his appearance, and what follows is humorous, heartfelt baby uncertainty.

I adore this group of hockey players and their amazing women so much, and Naomi and Adam's story is a perfect addition to this series. Their fears and feelings of Inadequacy are something every parent will feel to their bones.

The way Adam and Naomi work together to overcome their shortcomings while accepting a little help from their friends is nothing short of inspiring. I fell head over heels for Naomi and Adam with their vulnerabilities, and I loved watching them find an inner strength to become the best versions of themselves for each other and their son.

Oh my heart y'all, this one is everything! From the hilarious banter between teammates who always have your back to the poignant twists that will wreck your heart, this story is so very special.

This group of friends makes me want to move to Houston to be a part of them. They’re a family built on camaraderie, friendship, and respect that show us a family is so much more than sharing ancestry. I can’t get enough of this amazing fictional world and can’t wait for more! This extraordinary series and sweet, steamy, heartfelt romance will make a fan out of any sports romance skeptic, so don’t miss it!

Another Holiday is another great read in the Wildcatters Hockey Series by Alexa Padgett. I fell in love with this series when I read the first book. I can’t wait to dive into every new book in the Wildcatters Hockey Series. I love reading about all the different characters and their stories.

Whatever Alexa Padgett writes I am pulled into its depths the moment I read the first page. After that, I am hooked and can’t turn those pages fast enough as I want the whole story now.

Another Holiday opens with a blast and never lets up from the first page until the last. From the first page, I was kept on my toes with everything that was going on between its pages. There was not a dull moment to be had as Naomi and Adam’s story unfolded. I was swept away by their story from the beginning.

In the opening, Naomi and Adam are walking to a friend's house when their story starts. Naomi is pregnant. As they are walking along enjoying their day Naomi’s water breaks right there on the sidewalk. Naomi is worried as it is too early for the baby to come now.

Besides they are not prepared for the baby yet. They haven’t bought anything for the baby. Naomi has not packed her bag for the hospital yet either. But of course, none of that matters as the baby is reading to join his mom and dad.

After the baby is born nothing goes as they expected it to as neither Adam nor Naomi was quite ready to be parents. They are a little bit nervous about everything. They are getting overwhelmed with it all. But never fear they have lots of support from their teammates and their wives.

Grab a copy of Another Holiday and join Naomi and Adam as they welcome their new baby to the world!

This was a sports romance.

This story had all the feels and was heartwarming. Knowing the backstories of the main characters made this especially poignant. Highly recommend!

Naomi and Adam Kramer are the focus of this story. Naomi has had a difficult pregnancy and is at 35 weeks when they go to a Halloween party at Cormac's house. As they get there Naomi's water breaks and they both freak out. Their friends call for an ambulance to rush them and Keelie's midwife Serenity to hospital. Serenity walks them through the whole birthing process during the tub birth and they are the proud parents of Felix Xander. Both parents are terrified and completely unprepared. Their group of friends setup a nursery for them so they can bring their son home. Once home they are overwhelmed caring for the baby. Adam runs away to the practice rink where his friends help him pull his head out of his behind. Meanwhile Paloma convinces Naomi to interview nannies to help with the childcare. Adam calls his brother Owen who raised him and Owen suggests his old teammate as a possible nanny. Ashley Simmons has a degree in early child development and certified as a paramedic. He also looks like a burly biker with tattoos and is in his mid fifties. They eventually decide Ashley is the best candidate and hire him.

This novella starts off like a runaway train of a hot mess. Oh the angst and uncertainty of parenthood when it comes earlier than expected!

Naomi and Adam are expecting a baby, while walking to a teammates home for a Halloween party her water breaks and her contractions are minutes apart and strong. Runaway train because the baby is on the way regardless of whether they are ready or not.

And neither of them are really prepared to be parents and both are filled with anxiety and fear of what’s to come - two hot messes in near panic mode.

The first month is rocky, angst-filled and has them pulling apart instead of together. Their individual pasts along with sleep deprivation and stress are messing with their ability to make decisions or good decisions. The Wildcatters, especially Paloma, step up to help and get Naomi and Adam in a better place as parents.

The last half of the novella is fun and entertaining. I loved the interactions with beloved characters and to see how the babies and parents are doing.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Sweet and endearing:
This was a sweet novella and whilst it features a new couple, I would recommend reading these books in order as there are interconnecting characters that feature heavily. It was lovely being back with this close group of friends and seeing all the changes that had come to their lives.
This story wasn't a romance like the rest of the books in the series, but rather was about the fears and trials that come with new parenthood; along with the joys and deep love too. Adam and Naomi both had insecurities and fears but I liked how they ended up coming together to work through the challenges.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

Well I really was just taken on the ride of my life and completely blown away in all the best ways. Another Holiday was everything I mean everything. A emotional rollercoaster that just plays on all your emotions in ways you won’t even be expecting. Adam and Naomi’s love story was so beautifully written and so so emotional; there were moments I found myself speechless, moments I would be yelling, moments my heart felt like it was being ripped right out of my chest I actually starting sobbing and moments I could not stop smiling and rooting so so hard . I tend to read dark romance most of the time but whenever I’m looking for a change Alexa Padgett without a doubt is my go to author .

Adam and Naomi believe their lives are complete until she becomes pregnant and little Felix shows up weeks early.
This is a wonderful read for anyone who's had a baby. Even if you didn't have the childhoods that these two had, their fears, trepidations, questions and all around not feeling prepared to have a baby or parent, is something every new parent can relate yo.
These two have a ton of baggage from their past but their love for each other is very evident.
This is a good read and you get to peak at the other teammates we've learned to love.

I really enjoyed Adam and Naomi’s story. These two are amazing and love the relationship they have. With a baby on the way and insecurities and past issues creeping up and both of them are feeling it. With the support of all the friends and the CATS they can get through anything. Can’t wait for more! Great read!

Another Holiday by Alexa Padgett is a captivating and emotional story that explores the fears and trials of new parenthood, rather than being a typical romance like the other books in the series[1]. The story is well-written and engaging, with a strong focus on character development and the challenges faced by the protagonists.

The plot is centered around the lives of the main characters, who are dealing with the joys and struggles of raising a newborn. The author does an excellent job of portraying the emotional turmoil and the highs and lows of this new phase of life. The story is heartwarming and touching, making it a great choice for readers who enjoy emotional and heartfelt narratives.

The characters are well-developed and relatable, with their struggles and triumphs resonating with the reader. The author has a knack for creating characters that are easy to root for and care about, making the story even more engaging.

In conclusion, Another Holiday is a 4-star read that offers a unique and emotional take on the challenges of new parenthood. It is a must-read for fans of Alexa Padgett and those who enjoy heartfelt and emotional stories.

I just finished reading Another Holiday, which is another fantastic addition to the Wildcatters Hockey Series by Alexa Padgett. I was hooked on the series from the very first book and now eagerly anticipate each new installment. The characters and their stories are so engaging and interesting.
Alexa Padgett's writing style is captivating and draws me into the story right from the first page. Once I start reading, I can't stop until I've finished the entire book. Another Holiday starts off with a bang and never slows down. From the first page, I was fully engrossed in the story and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Naomi and Adam's story was especially captivating, and I was completely swept away by their journey. Overall, it is a fantastic read and one that is a great addition to your book collection.
Happy Reading...enjoy!

Another Holiday is a special addition to the Wildcatters Hockey series. As Adam and Naomi are already a long-established couple, this is not a typical romance. Yet it is still a road of discovery, as the arrival of their first child forces them to confront issues stemming from their own childhoods. It was absolutely fantastic to see them basically fall in love with each other all over again and how the greatest support network ever - aka the other team members and their families - rally around them. There's a happy ending for the newly expanded family, but also intriguing hints of a storm to come for another Wildcatters team member. I can't wait!
I was lucky to have received a copy from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.

The Wildcatters Hockey Team offers us another glimpse into their tight group of professional players and family-oriented women in Another Holiday. This time, Adam and Naomi are featured, as their child comes unexpectedly early, and takes everyone by surprise. As we know from this group, the friends band together to help the couple, who are not only overwhelmed but questioning themselves and their ability to be parents (Haven’t we all??) It’s a story all parents can relate to as they overcome the colic pitfalls, feeding frenzies and sleep deprivation.
I’m not sure if Another Holiday is an “interim” book to tie the series together and veer off into a spin off or if it’s to wrap it up. Either way, its great to be with the group again and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. You will too.

Both Adam and Naomi have overcome their difficult upbringings and have found love with each other and a family with the Wildcatters team. They are preparing to welcome the birth of their child however his early arrival leaves them feeling unprepared and stressed.

Naomi finds herself trying to do everything on her own while Adam doesn’t feel he is equipped to help her but they realize as long as they have each other and the guidance of his teammates and their wives that they have everything they need to give their son Felix the life he deserves.

The comradery that both the teammates as well as the spouses have with each other and the way they are always there for each other only makes this story better as they realize the past doesn’t have to predict the future.

I could identify with Naomi in this novella, having had to deal with a preemie baby with the strain of round the clock feeding and lack of sleep! However, the one advantage she and Adam had was in their close knit team members who not only gave them the backing they needed but also sound advice. The couple are put under further strain by Adam's anxiety about their reality of their child and with little time to prepare for Felix, he is caught up in an emotional storm. Fortunately, both Adam and Naomi find their way through the muddle to the answers they need. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I loved reading about Adam and Naomi in Another Holiday. The author didn't pull any punches when writing this book about pregnancy, childbirth and the new parenting challenges. Been there; done that; bought the tee shirt. thank you very much!
The open door bedroom scenes were steamy without vulgarity (not clean but not raunchy). Also, because childbirth nixes those interactions for a period of time, they were limited.
All in all, this author delivered (pun intended!) another entertaining book in the Wildcatter series. I am looking forward with much anticipation to the next book in the series.

Adam and Naomi have unsettled pasts. Now a baby is only the way and pregnancy is not so enjoyable because of sickness, worries and woes. The baby coming early throws them both into panic mode and even more so after the birth. Reaction to a caring for a newborn is overwhelming and criticism for various things specifically aimed at Adam is justified, but support and advice for coping is quickly given..love Ashley being chosen as nanny, as this is a great example of caring and sharing.
Love the Wildcatters series

Another fantastic story by this author. This one is about Adam and Naomi and their story leading up to and after the delivery of their little one. They were so excited for their baby to be born but were not ready for the early delivery. But thanks to their friends, the Wildcatters they all came together to make sure everything was ready for their little one to come home. But when life isn’t as easy as they thought it would be it would take the intervention of the women of the wildcatters and a very unconventional source to make their world right. I absolutely loved this story and loved getting to read more of the group and their antics. Definitely recommend this story as well as the series.

I loved this little story about Adam and Naomi.
They didn't have easy childhoods and now, as adults, they have to learn to look after their son who was born prematurely.
But despite their doubts, Adam's teammates and their wives/girlfriends are ready to help them.
And when an unconventional nanny enters the picture, things become easier for them.
I loved the story and getting to know these characters a little more. I highly recommend reading it.

Adam and Naomi aren’t ready to be parents but her son has other plans and his birthday is a little messy. Just as their lives will be for the foreseable future until they can figure it out. But all the Wildcatters will help them and an unexpected addition to their unconventional family will get it all sorted out. A great addition to the Wildcatters series

Struggles of bringing a child into the world and how it will disrupt your life. How to cope with all of those emotions and still keep your marriage strong. Choices will be made but will they be the right choice. Lots of emotions in this read but it is so good. If you can get past this, your relationship will be even stronger.

Naomi and Adam have a baby. Felix comes early and they have no clue how to be parents. As I read the story I had to smile a little as it reminded me of what it was like with first baby. But with the help of all their friends and an unusual nanny they find their way. Good story line, well written and edited.
