My granddaughter and I read this together over about 50 days. It is a unique and inspirational devotional, covering aspects of Christ's nature that we may not have thought about much in the past. Highly recommended.

There were a few editing oversights in the Kindle version: Page 19, in the light of the angel's message / in the light of the ANGELS' message ; 55, on his merits not ours / on his MERITS, not ours ; 56, Jesus get up! / JESUS, get up! ; 91, by the enormity of world hunger / by the MAGNITUDE of world hunger ; 202, The Herods lived lavishly at the expenses of ordinary people / The Herods lived lavishly at the EXPENSE of ordinary people ; 222, an atrocious breech of etiquette / an atrocious BREACH of etiquette .

(This is a File Translation problem, not an author problem.) Three chapter titles showed up on Kindle screens with the numeral "5" replacing the letters "fi." Specifically, page 170, Jesus, Af5rmer (AFFIRMER) of Marriage, page 262, Jesus, Our Total Suf5ciency (SUFFICIENCY), and page 327, Apostolic Af5rmations (AFFIRMATIONS) of Jesus.

Knowing Jesus is a nice little devotional book, that, if you read one chapter every day (or at least almost every day), will last about a half year. I started it in January and finished it this month.

Each chapter takes ten minutes or less to read, including the Scripture references given at the beginning. Each chapter is also titled with the name of Jesus, followed by one of his characteristics or identities. For example, "Jesus, the Son of Man;" "Jesus, Full of Grace and Truth;" "Jesus, Hometown Reject;" "Jesus, Forgiver of Sinners," just to name a few.

I believe it to be a gook worth reading, especially for some quick devotional reading, whenever you happen to engage in that practice. I would say that around half of the readings really inspired me, some much more than others. I also believe that Jim Reapsome did his homework on Jesus, capturing as much of the character of Christ as any author I have ever seen. This book touches most every aspect of the life of Jesus, using massive amounts of Scripture.

Great devotional!

As the title says, I found this to be a great devotional and it's all about Jesus. That's why it's so good and it's written by a man who knows and loves Him. I am sad to finish it and not many books leave me feeling that way. God willing, I will be back sometime to go through it again. Thank you Mr Reapsome. Thank you Jesus. Maranatha!

A Guide to help your knowledge and appreciation of Jesus

This is a book that you can read from cover to cover but then keep nearby to provide a daily reflection and reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf.
