Yet another mystery featuring Emily Cherry. I have to say one thing I really like about this 10 book series is the way they are written, I enjoy the mysteries, but yet, like that their a clean mystery and not all terrifying and gory and I'm able to share them with my grandchildren who like mystery also just not into all the scary stuff. I like that we've been able to read these books and discuss the story and try and solve the cases. In this one, Emily ends up taking a job for 2 weeks to help out in the office when Chase's wife has their baby early. So Emily takes over as secretary for that time. When Emily and her son in law go to drop off one of the customers' car, Emily finds him dead in the office. Can she manage to solve yet another mystery. Read and find out.
Emily takes her car in to be detailed. When she goes in to pick it up they tell her they found her deceased husband’s lucky medallion under the front seat. As she is leaving her son Mathew comes out of the repair shop next door he works at and tells her that the office has a surprise opening for a couple weeks as the person had a baby a few weeks early. She agrees to fill in and a few days later goes out to deliver a car and finds another dead body. The mystery takes off from there with a surprise ending. A fun read.
A Realtor is Murdered Ageing sleuth Emily Cherry is not your typical retiree. Everywhere she goes excitement follows –along with a dead body and a mystery to solve. And that’s precisely what she finds when she agrees to a temporary job at her local auto shop. Thrown full-throttle into a mechanical mystery. A realtor who was a nasty sort of man is killed in his own office. Who did it? I borrowed this book from KindleUnlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.
It is nice, for once, to read a fun mystery without all the gore and mean talking and this whole series has been fun in that way. The main character is a widow exploring things to do during retirement and writing a blog about her different experiences. This story was about her answering the phone at a garage. I definitely recommend these books.
Thoroughly enjoyed this installment of this series. Good storyline, clean, and believable. Characters are down to earth, sensible. Highly recommend! Five star rating!
