I highly recommend that every Muslim read it. The author's writing has great flow, and his journey of seeking knowledge and motivating the reader to tread the path of knowledge is commendable.
I wish the author had published this work through a reputable publisher and not self-published it. We need Muslim authors' presence in the bookstores because currently, the Islam representation in American Bookstores is done by the secular-minded folks.
As a revert, Muhammad ibn James Sutton learned Arabic from scratch, memorized the Quran, and read books on hadith, fiqh, and so on. May Allah make him stand with the pious predecessors in Akhirah, Ameen.
