A 1963 reissue of this large pictorial book originally published in 1946. Bound in blue cloth, illustrated through-out. A VG+ copy in a VG- dust jacket. The book has mild rubbing at the spine tips and outer corners. Former owner's ink inscription on the front fly. Soiling to the upper page block. The dust jacket's lamination is mostly peeled away. Chips to the outer corners and frays along the head and heel of its spine. 1" vertical closed tear at the lower edge of the front panel.

Not very informative. There were no answers as to why they made their art the way they did. Mostly just a picture book with visual analysis. Disappointed.
