Wow !! Loved the book .. great science fiction .. lots of action with many exciting twist and turns .. surprising subplots .. and wrapped around a romantic love story that gives the story hope.
I was delighted to learn that the series is a trilogy:
1.) The Beast Within
2.) The Destroyer Cometh
3.) The Portal Rider
I was happy to see that Jack McCoy did survive his struggles and heroic adventures within the storyline of The Beast Within .. and Mac was also reunited with his great love Evelyn Grant. While they did not YET find their happily ever after moment .. they did rekindle their love and admiration for each other .. and there is always hope. The story gives you a look at what true love looks like during challenging times. Fighting together side by side with the Allies against the evil Uberr … MAC & Eve are the ultimate power couple.
Can’t wait to begin reading The Portal Rider where I am looking forward to Team Achilles uniting again in their battles to defeat their Uberr nemesis’s Vostok, Heydrich, and Marlowe.
