To Claim a Silver Curse, a spicy dragon shifter novella had me highlighting almost every line. The banter was absolutely amazing!! While the attraction was instant, there was still tension, fight, and I was here for it. When he told her to "Run" I was screaming, "Yes!. It is one of my favorite microtropes in a book.While this is a short novella, Isabella does an amazing job building a relationship over time with them. By the end of the book, I hooked and was so sad to leave them.

I’m convinced at this point that everything Isabella writes is amazing. To Claim a Silver Curse was the perfect novella if you’re looking for something that’s quick but still packs the emotional punch of a full length fantasy romance book! I absolutely love novellas like this! This was a super quick read (I read it in one sitting), but still had a beautiful romance, amazing characters who grew throughout the story, and a perfect amount of world building that never felt rushed or like an information dump.
Nyra is such an awesome FMC! I was rooting for her immediately. Our MMC, Raiden, is everything I love in a Romantasy MMC - possessive but not controlling, morally grey but would burn the world down for her, and a dragon shifter who has been searching for his fated mate. The romance and attraction between Nyra and Raiden was pretty instant, but holy cow, it still was full of the most delicious chemistry and tension. And the BANTER. Nyra is just so sassy and the way she and Raiden banter with each other is absolutely amazing! Their chemistry is palpable through the pages and you can just feel it in your soul that they belong together. Their romance was really beautifully written, and Isabella did a perfect job of creating that insta-lust that’s still full of tension and keeps you on your toes. The moment they connected literally gave me shivers.
The story starts off in action and I was immediately hooked from the very first page. The world building was amazing! For a novella, it was written perfectly and gave just enough for me to understand without it being overwhelming.
Overall, an AMAZING read! Quick, spicy hot, with a possessive Dragon shifter MMC! I definitely recommend!

Do you love dragons? Do you love a strong FMC? Do you love fated mates? Of course you do. Who doesn’t? To Claim a Silver Curse is a MUST read!!! Raiden is the strong, assertive, devilishly sexy Dragon Shifter you need in your life. He does not disappoint with the swoon worthiness. Then you have Nyra. She is a badass dragon hunter, on the run from the law, strong, and stubboooorrrnn. They complete each other. I definitely recommend reading To Claim a Silver Curse, you will definitely enjoy. I loved it and laughed out loud too many times. Also, the spice is *chef’s kiss*. Don’t miss it.

This is a novella in the multi author Bound by Flame collection where all the stories involve dragons. Tropes include fated mates, dragon shifter, banter, hidden identities, touch her and die, prisoner/captor, and only one pool. I received an advance review copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Spice: 3/5 Flames
This was a sweet and spicy, mostly low stakes, dragon shifter romance. I loved how the MMC was really in awe of the FMC and how sassy (and unafraid) she was. The banter between them was top notch - truly verbal sparring. The romance will have you going from rolling your eyes (in a good way) to kicking your feet and swooning. Oh, and the pool scenes are 🔥🔥.

"To Claim A Silver Curse" ist eine etwa 150Seitige Romantasy Novelle, die meiner Meinung nach ganz gut gelungen ist. Einige Stellen haben mir sogar gefallen und mich auch zum Lachen gebracht.
Im Endeffekt ist es aber einfach nur eine kurze Geschichte, die ich nicht mit mehr als 2,5 Sternen bewerten kann. Super fast-paced und mit wenig Plot, bzw. einen Plot, den man im Unterschied zum FMC schon von Anfang an kennt. Die restlichen Bücher dieser Standalone-Novellen Serie werde ich vermutlich nicht lesen.
Im Endeffekt ist es aber einfach nur eine kurze Geschichte, die ich nicht mit mehr als 2,5 Sternen bewerten kann. Super fast-paced und mit wenig Plot, bzw. einen Plot, den man im Unterschied zum FMC schon von Anfang an kennt. This novella is pure foreplay! I felt teased to the core and now I ache for the main series!
Nyra is a woman who had to deal with some questionable things she did in the past. This might have hardened her shield but inside, she's sensitive. That makes her, in my eyes, very sympathetic and I wanted to hug her after she let her guard down.
Raiden, my wet dream dragon shifter man... I love him, I need him! He's passionate, possessive, an alphahole AND HE'S A DRAGON SHIFTER (with a very filthy mouth and an iron will of restraint)
Overall, TCASC is spicy and man, when it comes to all the sizzling tension you'll be fanning yourself repeatedly, I promise! And the insta-attraction is hot as dragon fire! But there's just as much banter and I enjoyed the back and forth wholeheartedly.
The ending, though, is such a major tease and made me crazy with all the questions and insinuations!
Like I said, this novella is foreplay. I'm hooked and want more!!!

Dragons, Fated Mates, spice. This quick read has it all, and I loved every bit of it! Nyra is labeled the Dragon Slayer, but things aren't always what they seem. Years go by, and her past finally catches up with her. She has choices to make, save herself and go against everything she believes, or sacrifice herself and die knowing she did what she believes is right. Her problems seem overwhelming until a gorgeous man makes his way into her life like a freight train, and everything takes a twist. You won't want to miss this adventure. Prepare yourself for the end that could potentially bring up more questions that you'll NEED the answers to. I highly recommend this read!!! 😍

Girl yes!! The way the dragon is described in human form was *whistle* just perfect! I loved how unlike the other books in this collection, it goes straight into the romance! It is a short book but I've read others that took sometime before anything happenes betw the main characters. Not in this book! Like man oh man I wish I was Nyra for a second. I did like this story a lot! And now I want to read what happens next! That ending makes me want to know more! I can't wait to read the next book that follows this story.

For a novella, i loved the amount of detail there was. It covered alot and didn't leave you with unanswered questions. The only thing that bugged me was the use of the word c**t, i felt like it was unnecessary and it's just abit of an ick for me.
I really enjoyed the world, the characters and Isabella's writing style, I would definitely recommend for readers that love fast-paced fantasy reads!

Such a short and sweet Novella with a lovely little Easter egg for TFK series in there too (if you haven’t read TKF by Isabella Khalidi please go read them)
Raiden is a fierce Raijin hunting for his fated mate… who just so happened to try to kill him.
Nyra is wracked with guilt for thinking she killed a dragon but when Raiden identifies himself and what she is to him, their undeniable attraction is steamy, sexy, spicy and HOT!

Such a fun novella! Isabella does an amazing job building up the characters with Raiden’s and Nyra’s banter and instant chemistry. The spice was 🌶️🌶️ and the world building was amazing! For such a fast paced book, it was an incredible read and I’m excited to see what else Isabella comes up with!

Immediately hooked, as I didn’t really doubt I would be from one of my favourite authors.
However I wasn’t too sure going into this book.
I haven’t really read too many shifter books before and I’m not normally a lover of novellas, as I feel they are always lacking, either in in quality or length of story, but oh no not this one.
I don’t know how Isabella managed to do it, but there was enough background to the storyline and plenty of action without making me feel as if I had just opened the book and started on a random chapter.
I love the chemistry between Raidon and Nyra and the banter was so great between them.
I’m not sure many people could describe an underground cave and pool and make you want to be there so much.

Another week another great dragon shifter novella from the Bound of Flame collection. I loved that To Claim a Silver Curse might be a short read but gave a great taste of what is to come next. It had the right balance of world-building, plot and spice making it easy to follow and be hooked. I enjoyed reading Raiden and Nyra's banter and backstory.

Nyra Haldane has been in hiding since she abandoned her military post after a mission goes awry. When she is found, She is told that the Silver dragon she had been hunting has survived. And it has resurfaced, destroying towns in search of her. Nyra is told her record will be wiped clean if she finishes the job. In search of the dragon, she runs into a mysterious stranger who immediately captures her. But he is hiding a secret tied to Nyra’s past that will complicate their growing mutual attraction.
A nice quick read, this novella checks a lot of good tropes. Dragon shifter, fated mates, forced proximity. Also my favorite scene was when Raiden told her to Run. Would have loved to have read it from his POV. The banter between these two was great and the whole dynamic of the relationship was sweet. This has definitely made me interested in the world built here and I am going to check out the other books by Isabella. This whole novella series has like doubled my TBR list.

Whew, this book 😍. To Claim a Silver Curse is one of the Novella's in The Bound By Flame series. It is a spice dragon sifter novella. Fated mates, dragons, and lots of spice. It was a quick little read but oh so good! The attraction was instant but there was still some tension and fighting and I was all for that! Nyra is labeled as the Dragon Slayer, but things are not always what they seem. Her past does finally catch up with her. Her problems tend to be overwhelming until a good-looking man makes his way into her life like a damn freight train at full blast. Do not miss out on reading this one!! You will not be disappointed!!

To Claim a Sliver Curse by is the penultimate novella in the Bound by Blood collection.
It will never ever cease to astound me how someone can world build, show characters and create a plot line in less than 200 pages but here we are.
I love fast pace plots and romances, so this was perfect for me - no waste on descriptions without a purpose. I loved how quickly they fell in love, or well he did.
How come, in real life this MMC would be a walking red flag, but in the story I'm absolutely onboard with being his mate if that was an option?
The spice in those novella is not subtle and it works because of the fast pace of th story.
I love how this story leads into her next work and I'll definitely want to read it

Out of the Bound By Flame books that I've read, this one, not only was I looking forward to the most but I enjoyed the most!
I was completely hooked in from the first page. Nyra is such a wonderful character and I love how we get to hear her thoughts even when she is struggling with them herself. and as for Raiden, well he brings the heat and I'm totally here for it!
If you want a really good, and i mean realllllly good spicy Dragon book, that's not a full feature length (as in, er word count) novel but still has the feel of one, a well thought out plot and great charisma between the main characters - even when they are fighting, then this is your your next must read!

Another great story by the lovely Isabella and another fun novella from the Bound by Flames Novellas. This is a must read if you love dragons and romantasy. This one is sort of captor/prisoner but it also makes sense as to why it happens that way. Being a Novella it is a very quick and easy read, but also because it is a novella I found myself wanting more. I loved the characters so much. Never piss off a dragon shifter, that much is certain. Especially when it comes to his fated mate. Over all the whole Bound by Flame Novellas have been a joy to read and I am super happy Isabella once again created something amazing. Romatasy lovers need to pick it up!

The level of impeccable detail she takes the time to create is phenomenal, painting the most vivid pictures of things both big and small (yes, pun intended).
The snark and crude banter between Nyra and Raiden is absolutely top notch, allowing for all that gorgeous spicy slow burn tension. Despite being a novella, there is absolutely no compromise in the quality of story and characters at all, which is something I’ve come to know and love when reading Isabella’s books.

Let it be known that I champion this author hard, and that I have loved all of her books, with this being no exception!
My absolute only complaint is that I would have loved to read this as a full length novel, yet despite that, this author manages to cram such a fantastic story into a short read!
This story is a must read containing angst, spice, tenderness, humor and yearning! I also loved the mention of beloved characters from another amazing series from this author!

Raiden is just as feisty as Cathal, but instead of wielding shadows, he’s a dragon shifter. The banter between him and the FMC, Nyra, is my absolute favorite part.
This prequel is our first glimpse at the next series by Khalidi and I, for one, CANNOT wait!!

This was such a great novella about a dragon slayer and a dragon shifter. Loved every minute of this, a feisty MFC, a dark, dangerous and protective MMC, witty banter, sexual tension, spicy, everything I enjoy and more.
I was disappointed it was over so quickly but then saw that this is a prequel to an upcoming dark fantasy romance series called Legends of Kaminari, so I’ll be keeping my eye out for those as I can’t wait to read more.
