Bill has just about the perfect life. Good paying job. Lovely home. Perfect children. And most of all, he has his wife Terri--smart, funny, great with the kids. This was one of the first books we read of this genre. It is incredibly hot, filled with all the angst and emotional turmoil that is expected with this topic. Ben Boswell is a great writer and conveys all the aspects with well written detail in this book. As an introduction to this topic I would highly recommend this book. HOT! HOT! HOT! Just finished rereading it as I picked up the next book in this series. Can't wait to delve into Tempting Terri!

Things turn terribly wrong.
This is a great look at the Hotwife lifestyle.
Terri is perfect as the married wife with a couple of beautiful children.
Bill is the perfect husband ripe for experiencing the true angst of the horned cuckold.
A brilliant book with a great complication and a delicious ending that I’m not going to spoil.

This is a great read. It is a cuckold story yet it doesn't feel forced, like many storylines in this genre. The characters are complex and developed. I think the struggles that the character faced during the book are faced in a realistic manner. These are people you would like to call friends, even though they are not without faults. As an added bonus this story is packed with really out sexy sense, that enhances the flow of the storyline.
This book is told by Bill, Terri's loving husband of 10 years. Bill has it pretty good. He has a job that he doesn't downright hate, a sexy, girl-next-door wife and a loving mother to his two young kids. Then while celebrating Terri's 33 birthday, he hears a story about Terri's wild sexily adventurous behavior when she was younger. Bill becomes obsessed with this person, so different than the wife he knows. He can control his curiosity. He cannot let it go, but is he willing to let this fantasy destroy the life he knows?
Like a loose thread on a sweater, he cannot leave it alone. As Bill pulls the past into the present, he learns of Terri's sexually charged past and he is faced with a dilemma. He realizes he cannot be her everything. But to give her everything, will mean giving her the freedom to be with other men (and not just any other men, but Chucky from her past). Bill finds he bear, if not find pleasure, in the turmoil caused by his decisions. But is he strong enough to live this life for, and with, her? Is there a relationship and marriage strong enough?

first book of a hot trilogy.although bill does become a frustrating spineless wimp very very quickly.and his Stunning wife.ony needs to be told once she has his blessing to meet an ex,before she is off and very quickly everything spirals out of control.Bill almost immediately starts messing with his own head.and Terri,

Bill had always thought his wife was a good girl in a bad girls body, so he is surprised by an inadvertent and slightly drunken remark by her friend Janet while celebrating his wife’s 33rd birthday with friends. Janet recalls that they are in the same club that Terri and her ex boyfriend Chucky got thrown out of. Bill discovers that there may be more to his beautiful wife than he had thought. It proves to be the catalyst to Bill discovering a side to his wife that he had no idea existed, but it also unleashes deep and dark feelings within him and his wife that challenge their relationship but cannot be ignored.
This is a very fast paced book, once the initial setting of the story has been set, settle down for exciting ride as Bill and Terri embark on a new and exciting chapter in their lives. The story is told entirely from the husbands point of view and we learn the confusing emotions he endures as he allows his wife be the girl she used to be with her ex boyfriend. There are some pretty hot sex scenes between the married couple and we also get to hear what Terri gets up to when she recounts her adventures.
Neither of the two main characters really come alive for me, Bill seems a little weak and naive and we never really get to find out what makes Terri tick, although she very quickly realises how to press Bill’s buttons once they start their journey. The perception I got was that their love for each other and their two children is sound without being truly strong, weather this was intentional or the author failing to get over the strength of their commitment to each other I am not sure. I would have liked a slightly slower paced story which would allow more time for emotions to be fully explored, but it was still an enjoyable read and will be looking out for the sequel.

June 15, 2019Well done Ben. I found Terri to be a peach within a sharing type of marriage, a hot woman, hungry for hot sex, and not the least bit shy about finding men to have her fun with. Her skill in pressing hubby's buttons were some of the best parts of the book, she got hers but she also gave back to her husband. God, she sure as hell could park that snatch on him and put him over the top with a sexy story. The husband, a pain. He should have figured her and himself out a lot sooner. But a husband reconciling his position in this sexy game, coming to grips with his wife's pleasures with men, is the other half of the story in a hotwife household. I could say the guy was a wreck but Ben was extremely adept at exploring the psychic of a chaste husband blessed with a promiscuous wife. I won't spill the beans but it was a hoot when he finally found his inner bull.

The story starts at Terry’s 33rd birthday party. She and husband have been together for nearly ten years and have two kids, five and seven. During the party, a drunken girlfriend brings up her Ex-boyfriend and some of the antics she was involved in with him
The boyfriend, Chucky, was dominant. She seldom told him no. The story told was about the night she met him and screwed him in the bathroom. This perks up the husband's interest and he questions her about it later.
Their sex life, while active is very vanilla. A dramatic change from what she is willing with her husband.
The primary couple are interesting and very likable. They love each other and there is little friction.
This volume explores their sex life and her remembrances of Chucky. She was clearly a very different woman with Chucky. The undercurrent is her obvious submission to him. Terri isn’t secretive, but she is reluctant to volunteer information. She does answer questions when asked directly. One answer leads to another question, etc., etc. Through it all she remains scrupulously honest.
This lights a fire in the husband's imagination and he fantasizes endlessly. The more he hears, the more he wants to hear. (color him typical)
Ben Boswell is a master. He covers Dom/sub with a perception and understanding that is unique among most writers. He has several books that flirt with this kink. “What’s Your Type”, and “Surrogate Master” are two masterpieces on the topic. His portrayals are infinitely more accurate than Fifty Shades.
This couple, Terri and Ben, talk. They really communicate. The dialogue is stunning. The humor, the love, the gentle back and forth banter, it’s breathtaking. You really are invited into their thoughts through their interactions.
They’ve been married for nine years, together for nearly ten. They have two kids, and their sexuality has simmered down somewhat. The stories she shares reveal a dynamic he finds intoxicating. He calls it her ‘loss of control,’ but that’s not the sum of it. It’s her willingness to be submissive. That’s not something he’s seen, or even contemplated with her. It’s like finding a new channel on your cable system that you were unaware of, and you had no idea it was even there. It takes him a while to identify what he finds so exciting. She recognizes a difference in him. His hunger. To say she’s pleased is an understatement.
The clue is in the Title of the book, Two sides of Terri. This volume lets you witness how they discover and explore it together. The dialogue is amazing and genuine. Absolutely NOT contrived or forced.
Their relationship, and the reality of it, sets the tone of the book. The sex, and how it evolves as they share... Is what drives the story. Their connection and conversations paint a vivid connection to a depth that’s extremely rare with porn.
This is the opposite approach from Arnica Butler. She builds angst by communication failure. This makes Mr. Boswell incredibly refreshing.
This is the best book of the three. The dynamics between the couple are honest and logical. It's the most believable of the three. As a net result, I consider this book an excellent stand-alone. The other volumes don't contribute to the original story. They detract from it.
