When the sharks circle a broken family, not even a vacation can stop the Men of Lamb Security from taking the case.
Her brother’s death forced Willow to adjust her life. Her niece and nephew needed her. A fun day at the park turned to drama when her heartbroken niece lost her stuffed dog, Auggie. Until she latched onto a man who shared her dog’s name and decided her toy had come to life. No matter what Willow said, the girl wouldn’t listen, insisting the hunky man needed to come home with them. How the hell could she explain to this gorgeous man and not look crazy? Auggie’s run on his first day of vacation took a drastic turn. He hated mandatory downtime and always looked for something to keep him busy. Getting tackled by a young child wasn’t part of his plan. After meeting the girl’s brother and aunt, who sparked a charge he’d been missing, they intrigued Auggie. When the little girl described what sounded like a local gang watching, he needed to see how he could help. A little digging into the dead brother’s life turned this simple case into an episode of Scooby-Doo. Willow couldn’t afford distractions, not where the safety of her family was concerned. Convincing Willow to see him as more, while he worked to uncover the truth, was harder than Auggie ever expected. Would he discover this family’s secrets before it was too late? Could he stay detached while he did his best to keep them safe? Life had a funny way of bringing two people together at the most interesting times.
I love a good suspense book and this didn’t disappoint. Willow has found herself in a pickle after becoming the guardian of her niece and nephew. A chance meeting in a park and a mistaken identity from an adorable little girl is where this adventure begins. Auggie can’t turn his back when he sees this family needs his help. So many twist, unexpected challenges, and chemistry that kept me reading. It’s a slow burn but not because the characters didn’t try, life unfortunately got in their way. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
This is a new author for me and her debut book and what a debut she made!
This book had me on edge every second every page I turned and kept me guessing at who the bad guy was.
Auggie and Willow meet by chance at a park and auggie just so happens to be the name of her parent less nieces stuffed dog who went missing. The author had me at the cute adorable things that her niece Lottie was saying and even her strong nephew Nicky.
This book will pull at your heart strings and keep you on edge turning the pages as fast as you can and I promise you’ll never guess what happens and who did it until the very end! This romantic suspense is thrilling and enticing and I highly recommend this book!
Finding Willow by M.R. Becker Is a 5-star read. A slow burn with suspense. The chemistry is through the roof, it makes the slow burn worth it in the end. Plenty of light-hearted moments to go with the suspense, and the kids well they are just too funny. Willow and Auggie don't have it easy by any means, will they persevere in the end? For a debut novel this book is fantastic. I can't wait to see what M.R. Becker comes up with next. Definitely a must read and now sitting here impatiently waiting for the next book!

The story of Willow and Auggie is one that takes an alpha male and a protective aunt on a ride to.find out who is out to hurt her and then kids. Not only is there moments of comedy, action, romance and mystery but the clues the author gives for the persons responsible for all the problems has you trying to pinpoint the criminals. I loved the authors writing.
Finding Willow is a must read with non stop action drama and a plot that is filled with unexpected twists and turns paired with the heart stopping emotional overload characters that are likeable and interesting as they deal with the ups and down brought on by someone else's actions.
