June Laurie’s life in the spotlight of Hollywood is anything but normal. Between paparazzi watching her every move, and online fandoms voicing opinions on her relationship with her boyfriend and co-star Ryan Hex, things can get confusing. But June is more than confident that she has her life planned out perfectly, with her childhood friend Joseph Cleveland coming home from a mission soon, and a successful television show under her belt, things seem to be falling into place perfectly. But when jealousies both on set and off start to shake the foundation of perfection that June has tried to build up, she’ll be forced to, once again, assess just how important her deeply seated standards are, and who really fills the empty spaces in her life. With the overbearing threat of popular opinion constantly hanging over her, will June be able to clear the clutter in her life and come to terms with what will bring her true happiness?

WHY DO THESE BOOKS ALWAYS GIVE ME THE HAPPY FEELS?! They just make me smile and that's exactly what I've needed. What I don't need is the wait I must endure for the 4th book. *sobs*
Why, oh, why do these love triangles break my heart so much? June is finding a lot of success in Hollywood in this story and is in love with her co-star, Ryan. June has high moral standards and amazingly, manages to hold on to them throughout her career. Ryan is very understanding and patient with "waiting for marriage" for certain things and they're so happy together. Until her best friend, Joseph, comes home from his LDS mission.
What I loved: the characters. June is very convincing and likable. I love how committed she is to what she believes in and doesn't force it on those around her, but states what she expects and hopes for the best. Gran is a force to be reckoned with and I absolutely adore her wisdom and humor more and more with each book in the series. Ryan is such a great guy, but one situation had my opinion of him crumbling and I was stunned. Joseph is every girl's dream best friend and is finally mature and confident. I absolutely adore him!
What I didn't love: some of the events. Okay, so a great story evokes emotion and I didn't like some of the things that happened, but they HAD to happen or this story wouldn't be this story! A Catch-22...
The setting is very intriguing. Is that what really goes on behind the scenes in Hollywood? I loved the flow, natural progression, and pacing of the story. I can't wait to read the finale of the series!
Content: some mild innuendo, kissing; moderate religious elements specific to the LDS church; mild talk of being violent (punching someone). Clean!
Can I just tell you how much I love this series? Okay, I will. I love this series. June is an absolute doll. I love, love, love how Shannen writes her. And isn't this cover adorable?!? June handles herself so well when it comes to keeping her head and her standards in Hollywood. I read this book in a 24 hour period. I easily fell in love with the characters once again. As much as I like Ryan, I love Joseph, and I enjoyed the journey that all the characters take. Benjamin and Candice are still around and have some great one-liners. But, one of my very favorite characters, who stands in the shadows, is Gran, she is a joy. She is always there for June to give her enduring advice. The ending has a fun surprise and I am thrilled!
Y'all. I'm so stinkin' unhappy with June in this book! I'm not going to talk about what I didn't like because of spoilers, but I really was sad about how everything happened and so, therefore, won't be continuing along with the 4th book.
I knew that it would be really, really hard for the author to come to a conclusion to the love triangle that would keep me happy, and although she did a fairly good job with it there were enough things that I really didn't like that I'm choosing to end the series here for me.
This has to be one of my absolute favorite series!! The minute I started this book, I started to fall in love with it. It kept me captivated from the first page to the last! That is one of my favorite things about this book. I didn't want to put it down.
I really love this story! It is full of love, humor, fun, and one that keeps you on your toes with the twists! This book kept me smiling, laughing, and sighing in true delight! It is one of those books you don't want to end, lucky for us there is one more left!
I love the characters is this book! I feel like I could be friends with all of them. The romance and chemistry between the characters is on point. I won't tell you who she picks, because I don't want to ruin it for you. I can tell you I was extremely happy with her choice though. To me those two have the best kind of relationship, the kind every couple wants! It left me grinning from ear to ear, and with a happy feeling! It also made me want to eat some ice cream!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves sweet clean and fun romances! If you haven't read the other books in the series, go check them out! You won't be sorry, you will just have more to smile about!
I love reading Shannen Crane Camp books. They always have something that will make me laugh. Some of her books have exciting action scenes plus some romance, and others are just full of the romance. The romance always stays clean which makes it fun to read.
Catching June was book 3 in a great series. I am loving all of these books. June is a great character to follow. Some of the main characters are Christians which adds to the story. I have loved reading each book in this series. Shannen has told me that there will be a fourth book! It’s always fun to have another book in a series of characters you love.
If you like reading clean and fun Christian romance then you’ll love this series!

{This review will go over the content, as in cussing, and explicit scenes.}
I'll go over the content for those wondering. This book has no cussing whatsoever. There are zero explicit scenes or talk about them. The most that happens is kissing passionately and it doesn't go into detail.
Now my review. I really liked this book! I did like the second one a bit more, but this one was still pretty good. Not too much happened, it was fairly simple. June is such a good character with so much depth and I love the dynamic with her friends. There were a few small things that disappointed me, but I can't say without giving spoilers. Even so, I highly suggest continuing with this series.
3.5 stars. I was excited to read this third installment about June, but I had a hard time at points feeling like I connected with her. Several things just kind of bugged me (like her insistence on a temple marriage, yet she was dropping hints for her non-LDS boyfriend to propose to her) and overall, I felt she was immature. For the most part, I did like where things ended up at end of the story, and I was excited to see that there will be a fourth book.
I enjoyed this book, however disappointed it's not the end. I absolutely abhor having to wait for the next book in a series. I really hope I don't forget the story line by the time the next one comes out. June is super cute though. Love her character!
I must be the only one that was sad with this book. I liked Ryan and was hoping things would work out for them. I guess I always knew she would go with Joseph because he was always there in the background. Ether way these were all fun reads and I'll read the last one for sure.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The first half of this book was fun to read. The second half, not so much. There were some things that bugged me. It will be interesting to see where Shannen Crane Camp takes the last book in the series.
