Just the other day I was missing Firefly, and along comes this book which neatly fills that void, and also scratches the itch of longing for a cyberpunk novel at the same time.

action aplenty and too much swearing for me

Fighting, deceit, manipulation and the poor suffering are mixed in with the main characters fighting their own demons as they battle to become people who make a positive difference.
Good story but for this non-swearer I had to force myself to keep reading quickly passed the words that grate on me.
I am glad I got to see how it ended.

This book promised to be a good redemption tail and in that I was not disappointment. It had fun characters, though they could have used a bit more depth. There was nothing particularly surprising in the plot. But all in all, it made for a fun read.

It is a little rough around the edges with some unnecessary situations and language, but not so much as to take away for the overall story.

Pure pulp! A rootin' tootin' ripping yarn that's an uneasy mix of western and scifi. Pretty terrible world building but a fun read nonetheless, with relatable, if stereotypical pair of main characters. Too long but I made it to the end, not worth continuing the series.
