Oh wow! This is the dramatic conclusion to the Mason Nash story and what a story it has been. I have enjoyed every moment, well nearly every moment, I did need tissue at one point in this book, note to author was that necessary? Otherwise I enjoyed my time with Nash and his group of under dogs. I like the way the author brought a number of his characters together from other series to take on what is essentially the world's spy organisation, they make an explosive team. I really liked Mason Nash right from the start, he was an unusual spy who despite his hardest to stay a pacifists has no choice but to pick up a gun, so glad he did because it wouldn't have been half as entertaining as it was if he hadn't. The three books can be read as standalones but to be honest it reads as one big book and could easily play out as a film. The action is non stop and filled with witty banter, annoying the bad guys and friendships. I really hope this isn't the end of the Eva-verse because I for one want more humour, more explosions and more action.
Knowing who the head of Tartarus is, doesn't help you when you are being hunted by every agency in the world. Clearing your name for the crimes Tartarus has committed is not enough. Mason Nash and his team needs to stop him once and for all and in order to do that they need to come out of hiding. Especially as Tartarus has set in motion a plan that will rock the world. Can a retired pacifist spy, a computer hacker, a government bureaucrat and two wanted spies take on the toughest mission of there lives? By taking on one of there own?
