I really loved Impossibly Love but it should've been left as a standalone. This book didn't add anything necessary to Branden and Moya's story. In the first book, I was taken by the sweet and innocent nature of their relationship, but in this book I wasn't as charmed by it. I mean, Branden and Moya were still innocent and cute but a lot of their moments were cheesy and cliche. I felt like the author seemed to be following a script as opposed to letting the couple grow.

My main criticism for this book is the same as the first one. The conflicts were too easily resolved. There were several moments that could have caused tension for the couple like Branden's ex, Samantha, popping back up out of nowhere, an old (albeit one-sided) crush from Moya's past also kept popping out of nowhere and Branden's mom trying her hardest to undermine her son's relationship. All of these moments could have caused the tension and angst that this book seriously needed but all of them were resolved so easily. Not once did I ever doubt that Branden and Moya would live happily ever after, but I would have liked to see them fight for their perfect ending much more than they did. There wasn't much "Impossible" about their relationship because nothing truly threatened them. What made the their love "Impossible" got wrapped up in the first book, making this one completely unnecessary.

***This book was kindly given to me in exchange for an honest review***

Life is short. Don’t play with it.

Impossibly True takes off where the story stopped in Impossibly Love. The one thing that really stands out for me in this installment of the series is how the relationship between Brandon and Moya seem so realistic. These two characters are a typical everyday couple you can easily imagine living in the real world. They both have emotional struggles with their families, are trying to live a normal college life and they’re learning to deal with Brandon’s medical hindrance together as a couple.

I love how the author is able to weave this in-depth web of personalities that truly brings the story to life. Her characters are not perfect, not always making the best decisions, and sometimes lack in their confidence. Unrealistic characters make a story hard for me to follow or get into. With Impossibly True, this is not an issue at all.

Big things would come, and we might experience failure along the way, but we’d always have each other and that’s when they’d see that our love was true after all.

One of the issues Brandon and Moya had to face throughout the story was acceptance from both sides of their families. Yes, they were young and in love. Yes, Brandon had medical issues that could sometimes be an issue. Yes, there is a chance that they won’t make it as a couple, but isn’t that the chance you have to take for love? They both have faith in one other that their relationship will prevail in the end. Brandon and Moya love and want each other around.

I recommend Impossibly True to other New Adult romance readers out there that enjoy a real love story without all the fluff. Yes, there is some drama but it’s not over the top or dark. This is a quick, light and thoroughly entertaining read.

I give this fantastic story 4 IMPOSSIBLY TRUE STARS!

-XOXO

I received a free PDF of Impossibly True in return for an honest review. My reviews are 100% my own and are 100% honest.

Impossibly True takes us on a different journey with Moya and Branden.

In Impossibly Love, we were introduced to Moya, the girl who harbored trust issues due to some circumstances that occurred in her life. We also met Branden, the boy who had to put his dreams on hold due to unfortunate events in his life.

Two peas in a pod, right? Precisely.

Shane flips the switch on us in Impossibly True giving us a bit of fresh air after reading the heaviness in book 1 of the series.

We are now dealing with an open and more willing Moya, who is finally happy with her choice of sticking by Branden.

Branden, recovering from his surgery, also has new hope and the girl he loves by his side.

We go threw the normal conundrum of new adult drama in relationships - the scamming ex, the guy who wants you and pushes the fact even though you're totally not available, the sneaky best friend and parents who think you've lost your mind because your relationship is moving too fast too soon...

But, Moya and Branden dealt with it all in stride.
My honest opinion - Branden was a bit more mature in situations than Moya. I found that he was really the one with always a clear head, as opposed to Moya who made me think at times that she was acting like a selfish brat.

BUT- but, but... it all clicked together in my head and I accepted her, but supported Branden more (does that make sense?).

Through all the ups and the downs, Branden and Moya finally decide to prove to EVERYONE what their relationship really is - true, undying, messy love (because no love is perfect).

They got the HEA they deserved and for all the happenstances they had to deal with, it was the best happily ever after for their situation.

* I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review. *
This was the second book in the series by author Shane Morgan and it was another winner on her part. It continued the story of Moya and Branden and how their love was able to overcome being young, being a multi-racial couple, being in college , one person being sick and both of them having family issues. The story flowed well and was believable which says a lot about it, as some books are such fairy tales that there is love, a conflict, and then a happily ever after. This story had drama, angst, and at times you weren't sure if they would be able to make it through, but that is one of the things that I enjoyed about this book, I almost couldn't predict what was going to happen and I enjoyed that most of all. The characters were well written, had great development and there was always a surprise that the reader didn't expect. I look forward to reading more of Shane Morgan's books and love being able to say that I have found a wonderful new author!

*I was sent this book by the author*

I feel like this was a good sequel to the first book. I really loved seeing where life would take Moya and Branden next.

It seems like Branden's mom and Samantha gave up to easily.. They were so determined at the beginning that they wouldn't give up as easily as they did. That was a little confusing to me. It could also be that I have read some books that were the opposite and the ex girlfriends turn out to be psychopaths. Maybe it's a good thing she backed off.

I liked this book. I liked seeing where the story went and I do want to read more from this author.

The sequel to Impossibly Love. As Brandon and Moya move forward after his life saving surgery, the two of them find obstacles along the way threatening to break them apart as life moves on.

Finding faith and strength in each other as they become closer to each other. Learning that life is short and that one must cherish every moment despite what others might think or want. Not to give up and trusting in each other as they find happiness.

A nice ending where you can believe in love.

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed these stories. The characters--especially their relationships--were very interesting, and I quickly found myself immersed in their world and thoughts. I especially loved that their "interracial" relationship wasn't the main focus of the duology (even though it is mentioned in the second half). I'll be writing my review for each book contained in this novel separately. Overall rating 4.5 stars!

Impossibly True, rating 5 stars
We start out the second part of the duology with Branden seemingly cured from his heart condition. He is feeling better and is ready to take his relationship with Moya to the next level. Until his ex, Samantha, shows up--courtesy of Mrs. McCarthy's meddling--ready and willing to rekindle her relationship with Branden. While he is fending off Samantha's unwanted advances, Branden is also dealing with his parents imploding marriage and his brother's move to Spain. Moya, on the hand, is also excited with and still adjusting to her new relationship with Branden. As she strives to navigate what being a "girlfriend" means, she struggles to keep herself open to a relationship with her father and open to Vanessa's decisions about her own love life.

I absolutely adored this book! It had everything a good contemporary NA novel is supposed to have, but written in way that kept me guessing as to what was gonna happen. Both MCs grew so much in this novel--both in their relationship and separately--and I loved following along their journey. The side characters also shone in this novel as well. I didn't hate Mr. McCarthy or Samantha as much as I thought I would; I'm glad Branden finally found a good friend in Warren; I found myself admiring Ashton for being such a great brother even more; I disliked Moya's mom more than I thought I would (what she did was SO NOT COOL), but her dad was a sweetheart. I'm really happy with the ending because even though , I agree with them in that when you know, you just know :)

*Spoiler alert*
I received a free PDF copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I must say, Morgan has once again stolen my heart with the "Happily Ever After" of Moya and Branden's love story. It was a sweet and touching story that can't help but make you smile. What I really like about Moya and Branden as characters is that they are extremely human. Even after meeting and falling for each other, they are both still learning how to fully trust in someone else and the honesty and vulnerability it takes to make a relationship work. The book also touched on what happens when an ex comes back in the picture, watching your parents go through a divorce, and being pursued by someone despite being in a relationship. At times, it did feel as though these things were kind of piling up and there wasn't a main conflict, but it was more realistic in showing that some problems are easier to solve and don't require two hundred apes just to justify why this problem has controlled the characters life and can't possible be solved. That wasn't how this book was. The characters had problems and they were up front about them and looked for solutions rather than wallowed in fear and self pity.
I also loved that the characters got married at the end. That doesn't happen often especially in new adult books. There's usually sex, sex, and more sex along with a side of commitment issues. I loved that Moya and Branden got married and I love that they were so young. In today's society, marrying young (or at all) is often frowned upon. And the people surrounding Moya and Branden had the typical reactions of the loved ones of engaged young adults. Don't get me wrong, getting married young is HARD, and I would find it very interesting if Morgan wrote a third story in the trilogy focusing on the difficulties of it, but it does happen and it can work IF both the husband and the wife are willing to put in the work. Moya and Branden were more than willing and I loved that.
Overall, it was a good read and I am sad to see the series end. I will miss Moya and Branden and their loved ones greatly but I am very impressed with the ending. Morgan truly did a great job with Impossibly True and I'm very happy for her.

A beautiful happily ever after to a sweet, endearing story.

In Impossibly True, not everything thing has mended as perfectly as Branden after his surgery. There's Branden's ex Samantha, who has come to realize what a mistake she made in tossing Branden to the side. There's Tobias who is determined to get Moya, despite her protests. There's a seriously unhappy family, a wild best friend, a strained father-daughter relationship, and the reality that Branden's disease could come back. There's so much changing and trying to tear Moya and Branden apart. Impossibly True is all about sticking with someone through thick and thin and realizing that love may not always be perfect but if you love someone deeply enough, it's worth fighting for.

I suppose I find some things endearing that others might be annoyed by. There's the constant use of the word "girl" between Moya and Vanessa. I like this. It's realistic. I know a lot of females that refer to one another as "girl". Also, the bad grammar spoken by Moya's mother and father. It's believable and realistic. I feel that the writing has improved from book one to book two. These characters have grown so much from the beginning of book one and the end of book two. You can't help but to fall into their story and cheer for them because they have a load of BS to deal with.

In a mood for a clean New Adult contemporary romance? This is your best bet to satisfy that want. It's a super clean, sweet original story with beautifully crafted characters. Or if you're looking for something more thrilling and mysterious, her book Finding Narragansett also won me over.

In this book, the second in the Impossibly duology, Shane Morgan writes a perfect romance story.
I would definitely recommend reading Impossibly Love first because it is there we watch the couple build the foundations of their relationship and understand the drama which continues to unfold in this sequel.
Impossibly True joins Branden and Moya three months after they both declared their love in a hospital room. Moya is completing her second year at college and Branden is making decisions which will not only affect his life, but everyone around him.
Shane Morgan shows her reader how Moya has grown in confidence, particularly in her relationship with Branden, and though she is still insisting they take baby steps, the passion between them has a tendency to ignite!
As the story unfolds both Branden and Moya's trust for their partner is tested when Branden's ex-girlfriend, Samantha, reappears and Tobias persists in his chase for Moya. These situations could have been dealt with in more detail by the author, but I also think that she is able to communicate her point, which I feel is to emphasise the strength of Branden and Moya's love, no matter what stresses it is placed under.
I like the fact that in Impossibly True we see more of Branden's family. The situation with his parents, though upsetting, has a direct impact upon the choices he makes about his future with Moya.
The ending of this novel is beautiful and I may have even shed a few tears! Branden and Moya are characters whom we can easily become attached to and we share in their pain and happiness.
Although the Impossibly Forever duology is now over, I hope to read more by Shane Morgan soon. This is an ideal book for a relaxing day at the beach, just be aware how gutted you will be if your Kindle battery dies part way through!!

This was an amazing story to read! I loved reading it and hung on to every word it was so beautiful. Brandon and Moya's love was so passionate and truely beautiful. If I could choose how my love life would unfold, I would want it to be the way that it did for Brandon and Moya in these books. The characters were loveable from beginning to end and I loved learning more about each of them. I always feel a connection to the characters when I read and this time was no different, I am so happy that I was able to read this and feel like a part of Brandon and Moya's lives as their story unfolds before me. I also enjoyed learning more about Brandon and Moya's parents and how they interacted in their lives and what they added to the story.
This was the perfect ending for their perfect love story!
I will miss them all now that their story has come to an end for us readers... But I will always be able to revisit them because this is a story that will never get old and one that I will be revisiting many times to come.
Thank you Shane for pouring out your heart into these stories and for sharing them with the world!

Happy Reading!

The ending on this book seemed a little rushed at the very end. But I still liked it. Very few typo's and a few missing words. Not a bad story at all.

I did like the book. I liked how the relationships were presented and the changes that took place in the characters. I did feel kind of sad towards the end, mainly because of how the parents reacted to Branden and Moya's announcement. Especially how Moya's father reacted, it made me want to cry. I didn't like Moya's best friend, she just rubbed me the wrong way honestly. I also noticed that there were many spelling mistakes or usage of the wrong words like, facet instead of faucet, heals instead of heels, and amen instead of ahem...that really bugged me. I also agree with other reviewers that the story seemed to drag on and took a while to get to the point sometimes. Other than that good read.
