Omg! I love Tommy and Harley’s story! It was a well written, heart touching, emotional, wonderful second chance romance. Tommy is having a hard time with the death of his best friend and band mate Carter. Finding out Carter fathered Tommy’s ex wife’s son made it much harder. He goes Harmony Place, a wellness center, to get help. Surprisingly Harley is there too. With both of them there, they were able to work through the fallout from their divorce and get to the bottom of some misunderstandings. Will they be able to straighten everything out and make a future together? I love the Rock Harder series and Rock On is a fantastic addition to the series!

this second chance romance had me hooked from the beginning. Harley and Tommy’s story is sooo emotional and complicated but it works out beautifully. both of them are dealing with a loss of someone they cared about deeply but also the fallout of bad communication and what seemed to be a betrayal. if anyone deserves a HEA, it’s these two. their story absolutely had me by the heartstrings.

Tommy and Harley were soul mates, but one night changed their lives. Harley ends up pregnant with Carter's child and serves Tommy with divorce papers. Harley loves Tommy and puts the band and his friendship with Carter ahead of her own happiness. Tommy is confused and hurt by Harley leaving. When Carter commits suicide, the secret about Harley and Carter's child, River, is revealed. Tommy feels betrayed by Harley and Carter, believing they were having an affair behind his back and used the threesome as cover because Harley was already pregnant. On the year anniversary of Carter's death, Harley and Carter end up at Carter's grave and end up having hate sex. Tommy regrets his actions when he learns that he left bruises on Harley. A bad decision while riding his motorcycle leads Tommy to realize maybe he needs to talk with someone, so he checks into a high end rehab center. Harley has been depressed since Carter's death and after speaking with her sister, she decides to check herself into Harmony Place to get the help she needs. Tommy and Harley are shocked to find they are at the same rehab center and have been speaking to the same therapist. Can Harley and Tommy work through their issues during therapy? Will Tommy believe Harley and Carter weren't having an affair behind his back? Can Harley and Tommy get a second chance at happily ever after? How will Tommy feel about being River's dad if he and Harley get back together? Can Harley and Tommy learn to communicate and not fall back into old habits that led to their break up? I absolutely loved Rock On by Kat Mizera! Tommy and Harley are a great couple who never stopped loving each other and deserved to find their way back to each other. Rock On is an emotional roller coaster ride from the night of the threesome until the unexpected surprises Tommy and Harley give each other in Paris. I loved how much Tommy and Harley fought for their second chance at happily ever after and not let their old insecurities get in the way. Rock On is a great end to a great series. I would highly recommend getting Rock On and the other books in the Rock Harder series by Kat Mizera. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Spectacular Rock Romance

If you have been following the Rock Harder Series by this author this book is another amazing addition to this emotional series. You know how Carter’s death affected his bandmates and this is just another layer as to how much a person’s life means to others. Tommy and Carter were best friends who did a little sharing at one time but when Tommy’s wife, Harley, became pregnant things changed.

Harley has been raising River on her own but with both her and Tommy grieving Carter’s loss they find themselves in the same wellness center to deal with their grief. Will Tommy and Harley get their second chance or has too much happened for them not to get their HEA.

I highly recommend not only this book but the others in this series. This series is a must read for all rock romance lovers.

With this book we finally got to know what when down with Carter, Harley and Tommy. It wasn't what I expected, almost benign, the issue is that no one was talking and it took years and the death of one of them before something could be done.

When both ended up at the same place to heal, I knew they would get thrown together. It was the best thing for them. They were finally able to talk about what went down in the past, settle with responsibility each played and then start to build something new.

It all almost fell apart towards the end over something stupid, something you knew as you were reading it what would happen. It was good that they were able to talk things through before damage could be done to their fragile relationship and for them to have their HEA finally.

Harley is definitely one of my top faves in this series!!

Rock On
By: Kat Mizera

((Rock Harder Series Book Four))
((Tommy and Harley))

—I always take notes and then leave a short review afterwards.

1. I’m excited for this book. I’m rooting for Tommy and Harley!

2. Oh gosh 😭 idk that we were jumping right in with the letter that Carter wrote. Aww my heart! 😭 I loved Carter so much. This letter that he left Harley is full of love and emotions.

3. But Harley didn’t cheat. River was born bc of the threesome. “I wasn’t the one who’d cheated and had a kid with someone else.” (pg. 37) …ooh never mind. It’s heartbreaking that Tommy has thought that for so long.

4. What producers? King and Zeke were supposed to produce this album. “”And if they find anything they want to fix during production, we’ll figure it out.”” (pg. 64)

5. I absolutely love this line!! ““There isn’t a single soul in this universe who doesn’t have some broken pieces. I promise you that. The trick is making sure the cracks don’t get so deep we fall apart.”” (pg. 70)

6. “On the knee” sounds weird compared to “on my knee” since Tommy is talking about his own knee. On my knee flows better and fits better. “…so he could gauge the progress on the knee.” (pg. 217)

7. I knew not to trust Freya! I felt it for some reason!

8. Please tell me there’s a book about Wynter!! “Wynter knew, but of course, she was discreet as well.” (pg. 229)

9. I loved the wedding gifts. I had a feeling about Harley’s gift to Tommy lol.

10. I hope Harley and Tommy have a big family of theirs and Carter’s babies!!

Okay, so out of all of the books I’ve been most excited and looking forward to reading this one. I absolutely love Harley! She’s so strong and a rock in Tommy’s life. My heart still aches over Carter, but I love that they have River.

Like the other books, this one is interesting and a page turner. It was hard to put it down when I had to do something. It’s sweet but so sad to know how much Carter loved both Harley and Tommy. I still REALLY want a book about Carter. I want to read about his struggles internally and how he coped for as long as he did.

The chemistry between Harley and Tommy is fire! Plus the threesome with them and Carter was so intense and I love how detailed it was. Definitely super hot!!

I hate that Tommy went through a lot mentally. But when he learns the truth, it was detailed perfectly. Kat Mizera captured the emotions wonderfully.

Doctors can say that someone is sterile, but they don’t know 100% for sure. Doctors told my husband he could never have kids due to a baseball accident when he was a kid. Well, our kiddos are 15, 16, 20, and 22. So, doctors can be wrong! 🥰😂

Overall, I really loved this book! I hope there’s a book about Wynter! I adore her and want to see her get a hea!! And honestly, I would love a book about River one day. I hope he learns how awesome Carter was, no matter if he had his demons. This series is a must read and I loved every book, especially this one!

Decent read, enjoyed the overall series.

A few things that brought the rating down for me-

1. I thought it was a little inauthentic how quickly Tommy was willing to step in to be the father figure in River’s life. He has only met the kid one time, with little interaction, and yet he is making commitments as if he’s fallen in love with him. Felt very unrealistic. Additionally, I didn’t like how they approach talking to River about them getting married and Tommy becoming his ‘new dad’. I didn’t feel like it was handled/delivered in the best way. It almost was disrespectful to Carter’s memory. I think they could have introduced the topic better and letter River organically develop a relationship with Tommy. Don’t force him into call him Dad, let the build naturally.

2. I felt that there was never any resolution with Aurora. This is someone that has been out to get the band the entire series and there is no satisfying revenge moment here. They have a plan on how to screw her over but we never see it unfold or get insight into it. Honestly, it didn’t even need to be built in the story.

3. I know they needed to introduce a third act breakup but I hated how they made Harper be the scapegoat in the process. Essentially she is attending a band meeting where they discuss the absolute need for secrecy on the fact that they are re-recording several songs so they can have complete ownership over them. They re-iterate how important it is that no one knows about this, at risk of their old label finding out. They then have Harper immediately confide in women that she’s known less than a month about this. One of the women, who she wasn’t a huge fan of, shows up to their lunch and yet she still divulges this huge secret - which comes back to blow up in her face. I just don’t buy this, she’s been a part of Onyx Knight’s world for ages and she knows how to keep a secret (she withheld that she has Carter’s child for years) yet they write her as if she couldn’t help but naively spill this news. Didn’t like it, didn’t think it fit her character, etc. felt like a cop out of a third act breakup.

4. I wish they included the conversation with Tommy and Harper about how Carter’s sperm was frozen for her to use in the future to potentially give River a biological sibling. She mentions she already has an appointment for insemination scheduled then it never gets brought up again until the end. I was think Tommy would find out about this and this would cause their breakup, but it essentially just gets tossed aside so we don’t really know what happened or when she brought it up. I also, hated how she got pregnant with Tommy after all the talks of him being sterile, just seemed unlikely and unnecessary.

TW: this review discusses self-Unaliving, as it is a major plot point in the book.

So Carter’s self-Unaliving had an incredible amount of impact on the band and it was a horrible thing for the band but by using it as a plot point, Mizera really gave themselves a lot of material to explore. And hats off to them, because the band members and other characters seem very real. I’ve been in the Rock Harder world for two days now and I’m already starting to have a book hangover.
This book. Wow.
Tommy and Harley were incredibly in love, but toxic for each other.
You see, Harley divorced Tommy while she was secretly pregnant and quietly had Carter’s baby. There was a threesome, but that was less than nine months before the baby was born, so Tommy was sure there had been cheating. YMMV.
They each decide, after some dangerous behavior and a wake-up call, to check into a wellness facility that’s a cross between a luxury resort, a mental hospital, and rehab, with emphasis on the luxury. It’s for people who want a retreat, or mental health help, or addiction therapy, or physical therapy. Basically it’s a vacation where you can work on yourself. And order charcuterie boards as part of room service and now I’m hungry, dammit.
The question is whether they can change their habits and behaviors in order to change a toxic relationship into a healthy one where they can be happy and raise Carter’s child together. It’s a serious question because although their love is intense, the relationship was unhealthy. I loved that they both took the work seriously. I loved that they really worked on their mental health and grief as well. The whole process, I was fascinated and I was really rooting for them to defeat the odds.
The sexytime was intense and really hot, even when it wasn’t healthy behavior. Maybe it was especially hot when the first sex scene wasn’t healthy behavior because damn.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a whole experience because it was so character driven, but also had exciting moments. I was so engaged by the characters and they seemed very real that it made the reading experience feel intense. Bottom line is I loved it and was affected by it and I think it was a great way to finish an excellent series.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

If you are new this series, it's a rock n roll second chance romance between a couple that loved each other but who is also divorced. There are some huge secrets in this story, not really from us the readers but between Harley and Tommy, the couple who was married, divorced and are now forced to interact.

Tommy is in a rock band and his best friend in the band was a bisexual named Carter. Carter lusted after Tommy but was in love with Harley. These three, Carter, Tommy and Harley had a threesome, ONCE, years before. Soon after Harley divorced Tommy, and no one really knew why. But Carter committed suicide three years before and told everyone he and Harley had a child. He pretty much left her in charge of his estate as guardian of his child, River. Which is why she is now in contact with the band. its members and Tommy again.

With Carter's death both Harley and Tommy are doing pretty awful. Harley is depressed and needs major help. Tommy is devastated by the fact that Tommy and Harley have a child. One aspect of this story is that Tommy cannot have children and Harley has always dreamed of family and children. I mention that because fertility can be a very sensitive subject for some readers, and it is a big part of this story. This is not a light read, as suicide, drug addiction and overdosing are also a part of this story.

What I did like about this story was how Tommy and Harley realize they need help, and they get it. This is a really hard first step and I really respected that they wanted to get better. I also really loved their honesty with each other and how much they really love each other and how Carter helps to bring them closer to each other with his final gift to them.

This was an extremely well written story that I really could not put down. While I did not love every aspect of this story, I loved how real the characters are and that they finally gain control and the life they want. It's not easy, it's a long road but the author told this story in a such a beautiful way.

This is the 4th book in the series and normally in my review I will do a little character bio on the main ones, put it together in a summary so to speak about the author and how I feel. But I’m not doing that with this book and there is a reason. Through the series we have had glimpses of Onyx Knight drummer Tommy and his ex-wife Harley, we knew they had a story and just hoped that it would be all laid out sooner rather than later. This answers a lot of our questions.

This book honestly is not for the faint of heart and honestly not everyone is going to want to read it. So you have to be prepared for it to hit some subjects you might not be ready for. It is not your standard boy meets girl, they fall in love, have a fight, work it all out and get together. Okay well maybe it is like that in some ways but so different in others. Growing up during a certain decade or two, rock bands were a huge hit (yes I know they still are but some we followed are now collecting pensions lol). They were in all the magazines, videos were huge hits, the guys tried to dress and be like them, the girls had the band members posters on their walls/lockers and they were in love with one of them. We all thought it would be so cool to go on tour because it was all about booze, drugs, sex, and rock and roll. The book touches on all of these and more because it talks about dealing with everything not talked about….rough sex, addiction, assumptions, fallout, bad contracts, suicide, grief, friendship, depression and so much more. The way it was put together was absolutely incredible! Kat Mizera took a fantasy so many of us growing up and showed us what it was truly like in reality. The way the subjects were talked about and dealt with was harsh but also tactful. If there is another book in the series I can’t wait to read it.

Thanks to 1852 Media & Kat Mizera for giving me an ARC for my honest opinion.

Tommy and Harley were destined to give us a heartbreaking story, but they also put it back together. Their story wasn’t just heartbreaking, but it was realistic (some aspects), as well. One night changed their lives forever and even with Carter pushing the issue, it took them awhile to communicate.
Tommy only ever loved Harley and when she served him with divorce papers he couldn’t figure out what went wrong. After Carter, his best friend, took his own life, Tommy spiraled and made a horrible decision while on his motorcycle. Needing rehab, he checks himself into a high end rehab facility to help him after an accident and he also finally talks to a therapist.
Harley is barely surviving. She has only ever loved Tommy, but after she finds out she is pregnant with Carter’s son, she divorces Tommy. She is depressed and can’t move on from Tommy, plus she misses her best friend Carter. She, after a conversation with her sister, realizes she needs to be better and checks herself into the same rehab facility as Tommy.
The revelations that come to light are heartbreaking, in the sense that neither communicated with the other. She didn’t give him a chance/choice to stay with her and he never tried to find out why she was asking for a divorce. I wish that we could have seen what was in some of the letters Carter left for River, I’m sure it would have been heartbreaking.
Addiction is a horrible thing and Carter truly felt he had no way out, other than the choice he made. The guilt both Tommy and Harley felt where Carter was concerned was very thought provoking. Did their choice push him to his ultimate choice or was he always destined to go out the way he did?
This series is fantastic and shows how one decision changes the lives of everyone. I highly recommend this series and this book. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Raw and emotional

The fourth and final installment in Kat Mizera's Rock Harder series was heartfelt, raw, and emotional. ROCK ON is the second chance story of Onyx Knight drummer Tommy Banes and his ex-wife Harley. It was a beautiful story off a love that bever died.

The death of Onyx Knight bass guitarist Carter Ambrose had a profound effect on Tommy, even more devastating was the letter Carter left behind, the one that said he was the father of Harley's son. Not coping with either, Tommy seeks help at a local wellness center, Harmony Place. Harly, suffering from grief and depression, has also sought out counselling at the wellness center. Imagine their surprise when they realise they are attending the same center. Will they take advantage of being there together to sort out the misunderstandings and miscommunications that they have endured since their divorce?

ROCK ON plays on all the emotions of Tommy and Harley, the anger, bitterness, desire, and love. It is a real push and pull tug-of-war between them, yet the chemistry, heat, and love that exists are never far away. They truly deserve as happy ending, but it will be one they will have to work for.

Once again Kat Mizera has delivered another fantastic read, one which was hard to put down. I've loved every book in this series, now I can't wait to see what Kat comes up with next. Highly recommended.

Rock On by Kat Mizera was a beautifully heartbreaking rockstar romance with the two main characters dealing with a tragedy and their own broken hearts and souls. Rock On had me in tears during the Prologue. This book is a contemporary rock star romance that touches on certain themes and topics, please read the CW at the beginning of this book. This book is the first I have read by Kat Mizera, and I am totally obsessed with her writing. She is gritty and raw and brought out many emotions while I was reading this book. My heart broke and soared many times throughout this book. I loved the originality of Rock On; it kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. The characters were complex, and their chemistry was undeniable. I felt like fate, or a force was pushing them back together because they were kismet. There is drama, secrets, twists and turns, spice and angst. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

Tommy is a rockstar recovering from a loss and trying to survive. He is impulsive, broody, and intense. I loved his determination and commitment to saving himself. Harley was broken, drifting through life, just trying to survive for the people she loved. I enjoyed how Tommy and Harley kept crossing each other's paths; forced to face each other and their pasts. Their chemistry was off the charts with angst and spice. This book is a beautifully written romance with heartbreak, healing, and learning to live again. I look forward to diving into her other books from this series and other series as well. 4.5 stars- Brooke

Oh my heart, it was squeezed in all the best possible ways. “Rock On” is a heartfelt, emotional and healing second chance romance that pulls all the emotions out.

Tommy and Harley were married but after a night with their best friend Carter and an unexpected pregnancy, their relationship hit a rock and they divorced. Fast forward three years later, Harley is raising her son after Carter’s death. His death rocked Harley and Tommy’s world and they have been grieving in unhealthy ways. It takes a motorcycle accident for both to realize they need help with their grief. A second chance is given to them both when they unknowingly sign up for help at the same grief inpatient center. And secrets and feelings they both had buried resurface.

Tommy and Harley just captured my attention from the beginning and I was hooked on these two getting their much deserved second chance. There were so many layers to what happened that night all those years ago and they needed to face what happened so they both could heal. Harley is a great mom to their son, River, and she made the tough and selfless decision to get help with her grief. Tommy also had some insecurities that I know people will relate to. I loved how these two reconnected with airing out the past, becoming friends again, and working on their future. The emotions throughout this whole story were strong and the ending left me happy. I have been loving this series and I can’t wait for the next book.

I have been waiting for Tommy’s story almost since the beginning of the series and may I say Ms. Mizera did not disappoint me. I knew going in this was going to be an emotional storyline but lordly did it ever wreck me from time to time. I laughed, cried and remained hopeful throughout. My heart broke for Tommy and Harley on so many levels. They had a soul crushing love that ended in a divorce that left so many unanswered questions on Tommy’s part. Then they suffered through the death of Carter, his best friend and the father of Harley’s baby. It’s been 3 years since their divorce and a year since Carter’s death and both are still not coping. At the suggestion of his friends and her sister they both decide to go to an exclusive facility to get help. Can you imagine their surprise when they run into each other there!

Both Tommy and us readers finally get our answers but will it be enough for Tommy? Will he forgive Harley and Carter for what he considered the ultimate betrayal? It’s obvious their feelings for one another have never diminished but after all that has happened is a 2nd chance even remotely possible?

Grab the tissues and hold tight to your ereader/book as this is a bumpy, emotional ride that is so worth reading. Ms. Mizera you have outdone yourself with Rock On. I highly recommend it and all the Rock Harder books. While they can be read as standalones, I strongly suggest reading them in order. You won’t regret a single one.

As much as I love Kat Mizera for her hunky hocky players, her rock stars are phenomenal. This series has been a bit of a heart breaker since we see so much of Carter's battles with addiction and the aftermath but this was the perfect way to remember and honor Carter for the wonderful guy he was.
Drummer Tommy Bane is the last of the Onyx Knights in this series and she really did save the best for last.
Tommy and Harley were once married but that all ended when Harley served Tommy with divorce papers with no notice. Since Carter's death, Tommy found out that Harley had a baby with Carter and he has been reeling ever since. We also learn that Harley is struggling since Carter's death. Enter Harmony Place, the perfect place to rest, relax and work through whatever issues may ail you. Of course these two end up in the same place at the same time and with therapy, start to rebuild the trust and ignite the love they never lost.
THis was such a beautiful love story that I didn't imagine based off what we knew of the couple from previous books. It was also a testament to family and what they will do to hold you up when you aren't strong. The men of Onyx Knights are all spectacular in their own way but even more so when they come together. I loved the glimpses of some of our favorites from Nobody's Fool (hey Bash!) and can not wait until the Crimson Edge series. ROCK ON!

Rock On is book four in the Rock Harder Series and in my opinion this is a great addition to the series. This is Onyx Knight drummer Tommy Banes and his ex wife Harley’s emotional journey. If you love second chance romances look no further than is raw and gritty story.
Tommy isn’t in a good place, he is trying to deal with his bandmate Carter’s death and the fact his then wife got pregnant by Carter and now has a little boy named River.
Harley is also struggling, first going through a divorce and then Carter’s death. But it seems she has finally decided she needs some help and seeks counselling for depression and grief.
So what happens when Harley and Tommy end up n the same treatment centre after Tommy has a motorcycle accident. Will they finally give in to the real feelings they both have and more importantly will they sit down and talk.
Will this couple forgive the past and look to the future, one click now to find out. This is an unpredictable, emotional and passionate romance that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

I don't think I've honestly ever read a book like this one. I was completely hooked the minute I read the letter from Carter. However, I was also confused. That's my fault though because I didn't read the first few books in this series.

It's been a year since Carter's death and both Tommy and Harley are still grieving. They aren't making any progress moving forward and they need help. Maybe Carter had a plan all along... lol. Grief counseling and talking through everything starts to work in their favor. Finally these two are growing and back in each other lives.

I really enjoyed this book. It flowed so well that I just didn't want to put it down. Plus the characters really made this book feel real. Yes, they were involved in the music industry and making tons of money. But their problems were real. Their life wasn't perfect. That's my favorite way a book can be written. I definitely enjoyed this story.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review*

This was a beautifully written, second chance romance that is not for the faint of heart. Through the first three books we have seen glimpses of Harley and Tommy, but never knew what happened to tear them apart. With bandmate Carter's death, Harley's secret that she had Carter's son is exposed and the hurt that Tommy feels is so much deeper. He has not only lost his best friend to death and his wife to divorce, but he the betrayal he now feels is soul destroying. As both Harley and Tommy try to navigate the crushing grief they cannot get past, their self destruction leads them, separately, to a rehab facility that they hope will help them move past their heartbreak.

This story deals with several deeply emotional issues, suicide, divorce, roughness in the bedroom, drugs, booze and so many more. The story is so emotional and heartfelt and the growth and development of the characters is so incredibly written, you can't help but hope that Harley and Tommy can work through their issues and come together again.

Another Rocking addition to an awesome series

Kat Mizera delivers another electrifying romance in Rock On which is the fourth book in her 'Rock Harder' series. As with the previous novels, it is set against the pulsating backdrop of rock n’ roll band Onyx Knight and this is drummer’s Tommy and his ex-wife’s Harley’s story. This novel dives deep into the ups and downs of their lives with passion and authenticity.
The chemistry between them is scorching from the start, drawing readers into their whirlwind romance and all the events that got them to where they are - each grappling with their own vulnerabilities, struggles and fears. The reader is drawn into their story as it navigates the complexities of fame, relationships, and personal despair and growth, in an emotional and exceedingly heartwarming way.
"Rock On" highlights Kat’s expertise in contemporary romance, blending passion, drama, and soul-stirring moments into a captivating read. Another amazing read and personally, I think the best of the series!

Tommy is struggling as he tries to deal with the death of his bandmate and best friend Carter and the end of his marriage to Harley. It wasn’t only his passing that shattered his world but the secrets that were exposed because of it. He finds himself using self destructive methods to deal with the pain until he realizes he needs help, but he was unprepared when it brought Harley, his ex-wife, back into his life.

When faced with a decision Harley did what she thought was best for everyone involved and that was to divorce Tommy. The empty spaces in her life not only from her friend Carter but from Tommy as well has become unbearable. She needs help but when she and Tommy wind up at the same place at the same time will this be their second chance or are they destined for heartbreak once again?

This is a story of a love that hasn’t diminished over time despite all the pain they both endured. It is an emotional story of overcoming the past and moving forward for two people who were always meant to be together.

Harley and Tommy’s story had been long time coming. They've been divorced for 3 years now and with Carter's death, some truths are revealed that rocked everyone to their core.
Tommy went a little wild when his marriage imploded. He needed an answer but was afraid to ask them. But life has plans for our lovers and it gives them a second chance where they learn a few truths that shocks them and helps them rediscover why they fell in love in the first place.

I'll be honest and say that at the beginning I just could feel sorry for Tommy. He came off as someone who doesn't care about anyone but himself, but when he finally started to see why she made the decisions she did, he was determined to make her his again. Their story to HEA was not an easy one but it was perfect for them.

Throughout the first 3 books we are teased with pieces of Tommy and Harley relationship. I have to say I was really waiting for this book to make sense of everything that happened between them. It takes the passing of their mutual best friend Carter to make the two of them look back at their past. It amazing how much poor communication played a major role in the destruction of their relationship and how hard feelings between them. It seemed as if they each thought were trying to protect the other but really they were dealing with their own insecurities. It was amazing watching them each come to terms with the role that they played in their relationship. Learning to communication allowed them to each come to these terms but also be able to build a relationship once again. Watching them grow and find one another again made for a great read. I as always loved the interactions and involvement of previous characters.

Fast paced and oh so addictive! Anyone who has been enjoying Kat Mizera's Rock Harder series alongside me has known since the very start that Tommy's book was going to be dramatic, but the honesty and effort they put into healing for this reunion with Harley is even more gut wrenching than I was expecting. I adored them together! I felt like it was a little rushed. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of them living their life together, but overall it was a sensational addition to the series. Bravo on putting prioritizing their mental health in the spotlight!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves a good rocker romance with lots of heart and emotion bubbling over in every book. I do feel like this is one of those series that works better if read in order because there's a whole lot learned about each other as the band takes their turn in the spotlight one by one to find their forever.

Tommy and Harley’s story is somewhat complex, but was such a great addition to this series. What do you do when your best friend and wife have a baby together? What happens when that best friend loses his life from the demons that have been chasing him for years? There is so much love and so much hurt between Harley and Tommy. Carter’s loss throws them both for a loop and when they end up at the same counselor for their grief, can the heal from the pains they caused each other? This book was excellent! ~Helen

Rock on is the fourth book in Kat Mizera's Rock Harder series. I love reading and following Tommy and Harley's heartbreaking second chance romance. Even though they both only lived each other, Harley serves Tommy divorce papers without telling him why. After they both end up in rehab, they both get a second chance. Kat Mizera has another winning her hand and I look forward to reading more from her in the future. ~Dawn

A second chance love story between two people with so much emotional pain and history. Tommy and Harley had everything until unfortunate circumstances and a lack of communication tore them apart. The death of Carter, his best friend and band mate, over a year ago brought to light Harley was the mother of Carter’s secret son, Tommy has been reeling.

The author used a unique location for these two to confront their past, work through their emotional wounds and to being really communicating. This book brings a level of emotional vulnerability not often seen in romances. Each of them have work to do to continue building their relationship if they are going to have a chance at a successful second chance.

I received a free ARC from the author and 1852 Media; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Rock Hard is amazing. This have me everything I wanted for Tommy and Harley. Tommy and Harley both are grieving not only the loss of their friend but of each other. I love the slow reconnection they go through. Tommy and Harley have a few issues to work through and boy does Tommy make you swoon for him as he takes the steps to right everything. Harley is a wonderful mom and a little lost. You feel her emotions as she made the decisions she made. Tommy is lost without his soulmate and band mate and is ready for a fresh start. I love this so much. This is a second chance you will not want to miss out on. I love how the whole band comes together in this. I could not get enough of Tommy and Harley and the rest of Onyx Knight. If you haven't had the chance to read the Rock Harder series yet you need to. Go one click this today.

I have been waiting for Tommy and Harley's story and it did not disappoint. Both Tommy and Harley are spiraling after the death of Carter (Tommy's best friend and bandmate and Harley's baby daddy).
You see Tommy and Harley were married and divorced but still very much love each other. When both of them end up at the same treatment facility it forces them to deal with their past if they ever hope to get past it.

It was truly amazing how huge a role the lack of communication between them played in their issues. Through this facility they learned how to be open and honest with each other. I loved how Tommy was with River. I was happy to see Tommy and Harley get their happy ending. It was only wonderful to see the many wonder characters that this series has produced. I am a little sad to see it end.

Tommy and Harley!

Onyx Knight drummer Tommy Bane finally deals with the death of his best friend and band mate Carter after finding out that Carter had fathered a son River with his now ex-wife Harley by getting some help. But he never expected that Harley would be trying to get help for grief and depression at the same place where they had to finally deal with the fallout of their divorce and figuring out a future.

I always wondered what happened between Tommy and Harley after reading to other books in the Rock Harder series but you will need to read Rock On to find out the details.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author and 1852 Media. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
