I recieved an arc copy and leaving an honest review

Manic!

What a great safe word to use.

This was wow. I really enjoyed this more than what i thought i would. I devoured this while i could between work shifts and sleep. First off i absolutely loved reading about a character who has a disability. It shines a good light on it. I adored Sutton's childish side, i felt like i connected to that side of her more. She fantasized about having her step brother and his friends and loved reading her smutty books. For it all to end up being real. All of the guys were literally walking green flags and it was great how they all had their own nicknames for her and took care of her. After everything i was so glad that they got their happily ever after.

OMG who doesn’t love a why choose book with her step-brother and his friends. Whitnay Edes has done it again with another story that just draws you in from the very start. My only advise before reading this book is that you need free time as you will not want to put this book down.

What I loved about this book was how rateable Sutton was, I absolutely loved her character and Whitnay Edes developed this character so well. It was lovely to read a story about a lady with disability and how she copes and the mechanisms that she uses to deal. The way Whitnay Edes developed this character and brought out her coping mechanisms in dealing with her disability was so well down and written. The craziness of Sutton’s mind between coping with what is real and what isn’t pulls us along on that journey that she is on, for me I was pulled into her character and you feel her frustrations and anxiety.

Then we have the men of our story Nash her step-brother and his friends. Each of these men all bring an element that Sutton needs, and each together brings her a calmness. These men embrace her mental illness and are willing to do whatever it takes to help her and be with her. The love that they have her is everything and their willingness to do whatever it takes to make her safe is just lovely.

This books offers so much more but I honestly don’t want to give anything away, this is a must read.

This is an unbelievable book that deserves to be read and I loved it that much I just had to get my own paperback of it.

Breaking Briar 5 star and 4 spice

This is a darkverse fairytale shifter retelling and straight off the bat this intrigued me and I can honestly say this is a story that needs to be read, but before you do decide to jump in do check out those trigger warnings.

This story gives you a little bit of everything blood, gore, bad witch, sleeping beauty retold, shifter, curses and so much more. This retelling was good in a devilishly dark way. I absolutely loved this.

Manic is something else. It had my head in a dizzy, but it was so good. This book had me in a headlock and wouldn't let go not for a second. The ups and downs you go through with Sutton is crazy and heartbreaking. The way she suffers with her mental health really does open your eyes and shatters your heart. The constants battles she has is so surreal.
You feel every little thing she does from anger, frustration, happiness, confusion, sadness and back again. I was there with her through it all.

The story is fast paced and will take your on an emotional rollercoaster ride with ups and downs. It's action packed with loads and let's not forget the spice that's damn hot. 5 guys that all adore and would do anything for you. Who wouldn't want that. Cause I would!! And that shower scene just delicious. And hide and seek, never too old for that. IYKYK!!. Oh and we can forget about the nicknames , I love a good nickname, yes I do.

Sutton, Colin, archer, Nash, Inigo and Memphis had captivated me from the start, I was super engrossed with their story and couldn't put it down once I started, they men show her what true love really looks like and so much more. It's action packed. Such a great read that will stay with me for a long time.

I really don't know how whitnay does it but she does and she's fucking great at it. No matter what the story is she always puts her all into it. Always bringing everyday true vulnerabilities that we suffer daily to the forefront especially in this book. Always taking us to depths that are mind blowing, beautiful, heartbreaking and so real and raw.

If you haven't read whitnay edes books I suggest you do so , I highly recommended them all!!

This is the second book I’ve read by this author, and goodness, was it different in such a good way!! This one is a super spicy WC with mental health rep and all the growly, overprotective MMCs you could ask for!
The way that Sutton’s guys take care of her is beautiful. Now, I love reading about string FMCs. But I also love when the FMC shows vulnerabilities and needs help, which happens quite a bit in this book. She hasn’t had an easy life, but she does the best that she can. The first person POV was raw and emotional. I could feel what Sutton was feeling, experience what she was experiencing. I love when I can get sucked into a character like that.
The MMCs are all best friends and very similar, though each one loves Sutton with their whole being. That’s obvious from the first chapter.
The plot twists really shook up the story and felt purposeful. I’m pretty sure that this one is going to give me a book hangover. Definitely one to check out, especially if you want to read something a little different.

Manic was quite an interesting read from Whitnay Edes.

We really get to see in depth the thoughts someone with bipolar disorder goes through on a regular basis. We see this when they are on their medication and when they go off their medication. The thoughts going on in Sutton's head were all over the place at times. It was interesting to see how she differentiated between her reality and her delusions. I really felt bad for her at times as she wasn't able to make her own choices and was forced into things she didn't want.

We get to see how the guys come together to take care of Sutton in different ways. Just being there for her or doing things for her - they show their love in the best way they are able to. You can really feel how much they care for her from the get go. They all really worked well together to ensure that everyone in their group was thriving and being taken care of. It was a great dynamic they all had and it worked well for them.

One thing that Whitnay does and she does well is dig deep for those emotions that you thought were locked away and hidden. This book pulls them out in so many ways. There are so many things that you feel while reading this one and I know I felt like I was right there with Sutton through all of it. Her descriptions and depictions of the mental health crisis that took place were spot on and felt so real. I felt the frustration, confusion, anger, happiness, every emotion that Sutton was feeling, I felt too.

With the mental health representation, Edes does an amazing job with the spice. WOWZA. The shower scene? Yep. That was a delicious one. The nicknames were chef's kiss. The men were perfection. And the hide and seek games? AMAZING.

Overall? This book was a fabulous read and a quick one at that. It sucked me in and I couldn't stop once I started.

This book was an incredible read. The mental health descriptions and scenarios of Manic behavior were spot on and so realistic to what a person would truly be experiencing was mind blowing in her writing. I have worked in Mental Health for a long time, and this was one of the best stories I have read with mental health representation ever. She truly out did herself. The ups and downs that Sutton goes through was mind bending and heartbreaking. She truly feels lost. Nash, Collin, Inigo, Archer and Memphis have all loved Sutton and truly go to every length to show her and keep her safe These men are saints and love her with all they have. The steam has steam it is so hot. The story was fast paced and keeps you enthralled and captivated from start to finish. I as given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Where do I even begin with this masterpiece that Whitnay wrote. It's a why choose romance that revolves around the FMC Sutton who suffers from mental illness. I can say I have read so many books and Sutton is the strongest MFC I have ever read about. Her step brother Nash has been there since the day her mom and her moved in with them and he is her backbone. Nash and his two friends are in college but come back for their breaks to work on the farm. This all changed when a tragic accident happened and Sutton had to conquer her fears and go to the college to find Nash. Whitnay this book was absolutely amazing and was moved to one of my top reads books.

Whitnay has woven a great story about Sutton, a young woman with different mental abilities. She’s thrown into being a responsible adult because of circumstances and does a good job of navigating it. Things change a bit for her throughout the book which helps her grow and realize what she wants/needs. Her relationship with her men is hot and spicy but not real ‘graphic’ on page. They help her navigate through some pretty tough things. Her relationship with her mom and the stressors with that relationship it understandable and the way they grow together is great.

While this is a great book, I don’t think I’ll read it again simply because I know how it ends and what it takes to get there!

Whitnay writes stories that are gritty and real and chock full of feelings. Sutton is a strong FMC who struggles with her mental health. She has been in Nash's life for the last 4 years and they had a connection early on. She has always had a crush on Nash and his friends and unbeknownst to her, they have had their eye on her. We see Sutton navigate new relationships, balance her illness and as different struggles effect the dynamic of her relationships, will they be able to overcome the hands delt to them?

Have you known someone that was bipolar? Had anxiety issues? Maybe a little OCD thrown in? This book feels like it was written about that person in your life. It is raw, it is real, but it also has a great story to it. There is man triggers and content that won't be for everyone, so please, be aware of your mental health as it is very important.

Why Choose, Bipolar tendencies, pregancy, mental health issues, this one packs it all in and will keep you on the edge of your seat to see what happens, how it ends, and will there be a HEA?

Nash. Ugh, Nash is my favorite with Memphis coming in a close second . But really, all these guys are perfect! I absolutely felt this story so much. Sutton is so strong and the perfect fmc . This was definitely a 5-star read! The raw and Realness definitely made this story so much more! Definitely check triggers as this does deal with some tough stuff! Whitnay yet again didn't disappoint with this one!

The mental health representation in this book was so powerful. It didn't feel exaggerated and added an element to the story I haven't seen before. Sutton and the guys, my heart just melts. The primal play was just *chefs kiss*. Again, the nicknames were amazing in this book! Definitely another book by Whitnay that I will recommend.

I really loved the mental health aspect of the book. That the guys all stuck with her during her episodes and supported her. I was frustrated with her mom and how things happened. Over all this is a good read and I love the idea of the book but I felt like it could do with some editing.

Great book. She dreamed of having her stepbrother and his 4 friends. They each have their own nickname for her and care for her. Sutton has a mental illness and each guy brings a calmness that she needs to cope. If you don’t have to choose, then why choose when you can have them all?
