Elisa Leigh is BACK!

SO thrilled to wake up to a new release from one of my favorite / one-click authors and she did NOT disappoint.

I loved Elisa's dive into the mafia world...she went a touch darker/grittier then she has in the past and she also gave us an age gap romance which is one of my fav tropes.

Elisa manages to give us a solid storyline, set up th series, and have some yummy steam all in a novella, this reader couldn't have asked for me.

Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Oh I’m so glad Elisa Leigh is back! I fell right into this book. Dark, dangerous, sweet, oh so steamy. My heart fell at the beginning, but very quickly I was so happy for the turn of events that set Jennifer free - that set both Kane and Jennifer free to claim the future they deserve. Together. It’s not easy and there are things they have to deal with before they can grab that dream. But it’s oh so worth it. So good! I’m so excited that this is the beginning of a series! More to look forward to.

I loved this enjoyable and engaging mafia romance which kept me happily turning the pages. I read this story in one go as I literally could not put the book down! Lorenzo Perrelli is the Crime Boss of New Jersey, and Jennifer is his only daughter who he’s very protective over. Jennifer lives a normal and peaceful life away from her father; however, she is brought into his dangerous world when she is in danger. Having left her cheating ex, Jennifer then finds that she is in danger from him and finds a hero in Kane Rossi, the Underboss of the Perrelli Crime Family. Kane is a ruthless and violent man but from the moment he saw Jennifer he knew she was his, and once she’s in trouble he’s the only man that can protect her, but he also plans on making her his. Unfortunately, by making Jennifer his it means defying his loyalty to ‘The Boss’, her father. This was an exciting and fast paced romance with plenty of drama, action and suspense, that kept me hooked. I loved the characters, and the chemistry between Jennifer and Kane sizzled off the page and led to some rather steamy scenes. A five star read!

I’m so glad Elisa is back! I’ve missed her books so much! I was hooked as soon as I started reading it! I couldn’t stop until the end! I loved Kane and Jennifer’s story! It was a little bit of a darker story than she usually writes and I loved it! It has a wonderful storyline, great characters and a lot of hot, steamy sexiness! I couldn’t have asked for more. I can’t wait for Elisa’s next book! It can’t get here fast enough!

Great story

This is a great love story with great characters. He's loved her since he first met and she had feelings for him too. Dealing with psycho mafis leaders puts her in danger so he has to protect her. After it's all over they get to live a beautiful happy ever after together

That's exactly what Jennifer learns in this book.. Her fiance isn't who she's thinks he is and she's hurt by his actions...and the man always in the shadows steps up when she needs someone the most..
Kane: Watching the love of your life date and then get engaged to another man would drive anyone crazy but when you are the under boss of the New Jersey mob then it hurts even worse because the one person you want, is one you will never have...or so you think...when Jennifer needed help, Kane was right at her side and vowed he would protect and cherish her forever..will their forever be cut short when a dangerous person sets out to destroy everything??
