That revelation—and the charming sight of Fuyutsuki in a yukata—leaves Himuro unable to keep his cool!
Once again my heart has been revived with another volume in this series!
So many fun and wonderful moments that had me squealing and giggling! I definitely love that what the creator mentioned would unfold in the previous volume did happen in this one because EEEEEEPPPPPP!!! I'm fully on board and hoping it will be some "inspiration" for Himuro in the future! Hehe!
We meet a new character in this volume and oh my goodness I LOVE her! Granny was awesome and really loved that entire chapter and how everything unfolded! So much fun!!
The preview for the next volume has me super excited! Really really love this series and so thankful we have it in English!!
Still super cute but wish we would get more main couple story. I do enjoy the side characters too but I feel like I know more about them now than the main couple. Next volume does look promising so fingers crossed.
Another super cute volume, now with more content! We get a lot more time with newer characters like Himuro’s sister, plus Komori and Saejima are officially dating!
Himuro also finally works up the courage to ask Fuyutsuki to go out with him, but is it an official date?
The ending barbecue chapter was adorable and fluffy as all get out. I love that Himuro now has an unbeatable love for mushrooms, because there’s no way he’s going to tell Fuyutsuki that they’re not actually his favorite! 😍
I'm happy for Saejima and Komori, but I feel like Himuro and Fuyutsuki are taking a backseat in their own story... also Himuro's sister's romance, I did in fact skim. I did really like that their friends wising up and realizing they want to be together was a very "feel your feeling, fool" moment for Himuro and Fuyutsuki. Almost like you feel like you're falling behind in life, while also knowing in the end its best to work at your own pace.
As always, this here are the cutest moments -While at the cat cafe, Himuro offers to switch Fuyutsuki's toy with another so she gets what she wants. But Fuyutsuki stops him realizing his is the same and goes "it's kinda nice to have matching things"... you mean like wedding rings, girl 👀? -The 🍄 convo?! *Fuyutsuki off handily remarks that Saejima mentioned one of Himuro's fav foods is mushrooms from a specific place. This makes her jealous, that she didn't know it was somethin Himuro even liked. But it prompts her to say "I want to lookup good mushroom dishes at restaurants so we can go together. I want to find out more of your favorite things". Promise of a future at their own pace ❤️. -The "you're so cute" that slips out when Fuyutsuki dons Himuro's coat on the balcony. I just can't 😍.

I picked this up as part of my continuation of this series. “The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, Vol. 7” continues to follow Himuro and Fuyutsuki as they spend more time together. In this specific volume, the pair and two of their close friends and coworkers decide to travel to a spa to spend some time relaxing. Although I am rooting for Himuro and Fuyutsuki, and I am patiently waiting for them to finally heat up their relationship, I did enjoy watching their coworkers admit their own feelings for one another. It was really sweet watching them be so nervous and then ultimately become official. I also think that their budding relationship will help spark more of a fire between Himuro and Fuyutsuki. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next volume!
Just realized the chapters a longer than when this series started!
And yes, the slow burn is still…very slow.
But one workplace couple has made some developments~
Recap: hot spring double date, Saejima asks her out, Himuro is inspired. George the cat cafe event. Himuro’s sister and her song writer friend get ready for the show and his grandma comes. Chicken grilling. Saejima tells her Himuro loves mushrooms lmao. And then volume ends with Himuro telling her she’s cute when he lends her his jacket.
I'd hoped to see more action between Himuro and Fuyutsuki at the hot springs, but overall we only get them for about one chapter. The others are great and the volume is another full of feels and laughs, and another where the bonus story is the best one. We also meet a new character and she's cute and hilarious, as to be expected. I just wish we'd get more of the main couple given how thin these volumes are. Himuro's snowmen are so dang cute.
Super cute as always. I did wonder why Saejima and Komori began dating so quickly until I realized I accidentally skipped vol 6. 😅 but we get a cute little date at a cafe with Himuro and Fuyutsuki. We also see that she wants to know more about him when she feels a little jealous that Saejima might know more than her. I was also confused about Himuro’s sister and her little story but I rolled with it. Again it’s because I accidentally skipped 6. 😅 now on to vol 6!

Omgg omg omg. The side character romantic plot is so cute right now I’m dying. Fuyutsuki is wearing Himuros jacket?! And he calls her cute because of it?? The other side plot with the sister is just annoying right now but there’s a lot of that in this volume. The car ride with Fuyutsuki and Saejama was sweet at first until he called her cute when he has a girlfriend (which I think was just supposed to be a platonic compliment but it got weird).

we finally get some progress as far as relationships go, but it feels like the story now spends more time on the side characters than it does the main couple. The other characters are interesting, so I suppose I don't mind, but at the same time, it's easy to forget that this is supposed to be about Fuyutsuki and Himuro.
We get a couple!! Not the one we want but we get one nonetheless. This shows the 2 kinds of guys in this romantic office arena. One who realized what he felt and told the object of his affection and the other who is waiting. I understand whay both are doing what they are doing but now that we have one couple I want Himuro and Fuyutsuki to get together as soon as possible.
such an adorable volume - we get HUGE strides in komori and saejima's relationship, including the most swoonworthy confession and kiss. meanwhile himuro and fuyutsuki continue to slowly inch along....their date at the cute little cafe was perfection!!
