I have to admit that I am usually disappointed by the 2nd book in a series. Happily I can say not so with Meadow's Keep. This story grabs you early on and takes you along for the ride. Give The Gatekeepers series a try. Wonderful

Amazing sequel to the first book, loved the character development of Jasmine, especially as she grew from her abusive past. Also loved the chemistry between her and Eryk. Great book.

This one was as good as the first book in the series. Lots of action, some well-written erotic parts that are necessary to advance the plot of the series. Both the internal and external dialogues are believable and easy to follow even when the characters cross talk over each other. Descriptions are wonderful and would entice the reader to seek out these locations if they actually existed. Bask remains as mysterious as he is helpful to those in his care. There are new characters introduced and new relationship possibilities for the more familiar characters. My only disappointment is that volume 3 of the series is not yet available.

I thought I wouldn't like this one since jasmine's character in the first book put me off. But hell no, I had a major understanding now (with her).
It was good, mysterious, exciting (the story and between people) and steamy (I didn't find the first book sexy or steamy). This one was one of an attraction mate thing!!
And what a great opening to more about the gatekeeper! ! God I hope I would be reading about Yancy and Teressa ( in their fifties) but I don't care aboug elder love story. they don't seem that old and Dr Mike Yancy is buffing for his sweet Teresa. Maybe she won't need Truffe!!

Oh my gosh!
Okay so don't be turned off by the fact that this is about Jasmine. In the first book I seriously hated her. But now, she's amazing.
This book is STEAMY, something I totally didn't expect but still loved every minute of. And the relationship between the two MC's is enthralling.
If I say anymore I'll give stuff away.
