I'm not guilty of anything. Unless drooling over my boss is a crime.
I'm nothing more than a low-level technician in the Black Star Casino, and Sakkar takes any threat to his security seriously. So when my giant of a Vinduthi boss unjustly accuses me of siphoning off credits, I'm not just shocked.
I'm terrified.
But Sakkar is surprisingly sweet, and as we work together to track down the source of the breech, I see a side of him I'd never imagined.
With millions of credits on the line, our opponents will stop at nothing to win.
Now I'm in the middle of it all and it's not just the Black Star that's under attack. Can my heart survive Sakkar's siege?
Reader, dreamer and frantic scribbler. I really do believe that love conquers all... and make terrible things for my characters to survive to prove it! (insert evil laugh here)
Alien Devil's Wildcard (Black Star Mates Book 4) is a great addition to the series. In a bleak future where Earth has become uninhabitable, humans find themselves relegated to the lowest social strata, struggling for survival against the backdrop of formidable space vampires, other creatures and constant peril. This narrative is packed with exciting and dangerous elements that keep the reader engaged.
My curiosity was piqued from the start, compelling me to delve deeper into the unfolding story.
At the heart of the plot is the powerful Vinduthi owners and workers of the opulent but dangerous Black Star casino. This bustling hub serves as both refuge and battleground for various interstellar species. One by one they become infatuated with a resilient human woman, whose mere presence disrupts the carefully maintained order of their world.
Setting off a cascade of events that entangle their blossoming relationships in a web of chaos and danger, leading to intense moments and unexpected alliances. As the stakes rise, readers are left eager to see how love can flourish in such tumultuous circumstances.
Another exciting and hot addition to the Black Star Mates series as the security chief Sakkar, falls head over ego for the snarky Alyssa. The chemistry between the two was magnetic from the beginning and I just knew they were going to be great to read about. Of course like all males of his race, Sakkar had a huge ego and had to be taken down a peg or two. Learning to trust his little human and work as a team was hilarious. I loved it.
This is head of security Sakkar and the feisty Alyssa's story. Sakkar is the head of all things security for the Black Star Casino. Its his way or the highway when it comes to every aspect of his life. When the Casino gets hacked he knows he'll stop at nothing to find the hackers Nd stop them. She's human and if she looses this job she'll be is tons of trouble and probably homeless. She just wants to clear her name and move on with her life. So she and Sakkar team up to find out who the hackers are and stop them before real damage can be done. What’s a girl to do when her so gorgeous I might have a crush on him boss believes you just hacked his security system? Sakkar is a dangerous male and part of the most dangerous group of the space station. His job is security at their casino. But when someone hacks and tries to mess with things he goes from dangerous to lethal. The one person the trail leads to is definitely not the right one. But he has no problem using her to solve the problem. Alyssa is about to find out who dangerous her boss really is. But first she needs to start thinking either her head and not other parts of her body. The story is filled with danger and action. But with one young human female who brings all the sass and sarcasm the story gets even more fun.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Alien Devil's wildcard . Vinduthi Sakkar is Head of Security at The Black Star Casino . When threats of the casino gaming machines under attack he finds clues leading him to a human woman working the gaming machines Alyssa Watson . As Sakkar investigates he finds Alyssa is innocent but is in danger . He vows to keep her safe while they work together to find and stop the threat . Their chemistry is undeniable and the attraction is from the start . This story is intriguing and action packed and steamy . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
This is the third exciting book in this series and solving it is challenging. Sakkar, a code writing specialist, loves his work and doesn’t have time for females. Until his casino gets hacked. Alyssa, a human female who got hired by a false resume is deemed guilty, initially. He keeps her close trying to prove her guilt, but even he knows it’s not her. Her bravery and insistence on helping gets her into trouble.
I love reading about the Vinduthi, and Alyssa and Sakkar’s story is fun to read. I loved Alyssa’s personality, but I felt that the best part came out at the very end. Other than that, it was a great story!
Alien Devil’s Wildcard has a possessive egotistical Vinduthi head of security wondering what the hype is about humans. He treats Alyssa like a mindless play doll. Thankfully, Alyssa, our heroine, is a feisty, sassy human woman who proves she deserves to be an equal partner.
I enjoyed reading this book, the storyline is well written and the interaction between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review
I’m really sad… out of all books that I mostly lobe, just couldn’t read this one. It seamed choppy and like, parts missing, and don’t know, just not the same as the others.
I could not get engaged with this story. I have enjoyed many of the author's other books, but this one just fell flat. The characters didn't seem to have much personality.
