Own is the heart-stopping conclusion to this intense trilogy set in the Midnight Dynasty world.
Sophia was as strong as ever, unwilling to settle for anything less than she deserves. Her tenacity made this one for me. Yet Damon did little to endear himself to me after the events in book two. I was really hoping for an epic grovel after he worked through his emotional baggage.
I am itching to learn more about the catastrophe at Violent Delights. Likewise, I’m hopeful we’ll see more from Lizzy in a future release.

“When her body relaxed and her breath eased back to a manageable level, she said, “What have you done to me that I only want you?” “I’m your Dom, Sophia. You might as well accept it. Your orgasms belong to me. Your submission belongs to me. You’ll only ever desire my eyes anywhere on you, my touch on your skin, and my taste on your lips.”
Sienna has joined the A-list of Authors writing in the Morelli world. This gritty, dark world is filled with all the morally gray people. And, I am a frequent flier. Books need to be read in order since this trilogy leaves us with cliffys. Was I angry with Damon, yes. Did I hope he came back groveling, yes. Did I hope Sophia would make him work for it, yes. Did I get all my wishes, yes. Stellar add to the Morelli world.
Own picks us up off the floor where Sienna left us after Damon thought he knew what was best.
Damon is drinking himself blind, as he should after his treatment of Sophia.
Sophia is using all her angst as fuel. Creating her next collection.
Damon gets a wake-up call when Lucian and Eva come to bitch slap some sense into him.
So, let the groveling begin because Sophia isn’t having his apology or excuses. She wants in- into all his thoughts. She wants that wall he has built around himself knocked down.
The beautiful and passionate ending to Damon and Sophia’s story was awesome and made my heart soar with this couple’s love ❤️ This duo’s relationship had so many ups and downs that it had me praying and hoping for a HEA solution. The fact that Damon can be friends with Lucian and survive and fit in the den of the Morelli’s is a sign of his Alpha man attitude and his endurance. Sophia has not had an easy life in terms of how people perceive her but her strength in holding her head high when she confronts the vultures of society is splendid and awe inspiring. These Midnight Dynasty characters and their stories are always anticipated and spectacular to read ❤️
Snow delivers a sizzling and suspenseful conclusion to the Violent Delights Trilogy. Own, will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!
For once, Damon Pierce agrees with his critics when they describe his buildings as cold and lifeless, just like his existence. Ever since he destroyed the trust of the only woman he’s ever loved, Damon has been plagued with thoughts of how he ended things with her. Everything good in his life is gone, there is no control only chaos surrounding him. But just when Damon thought that everything was over, he is given a second chance to make things right. And this time around, he will not stop until he gets Sophia to forgive him and give them another shot. He will soon have to face his demons and close the chapter of his past for good.
Sophia Morelli has always been the wild child and she takes pride for being herself. She has been working really hard to make a name for herself in the fashion world and won’t let the pain that she’s been feeling ever since Damon walked away from her distract her from her future. Needless to say, there will always be connection between them and a part of her will always love him. Yet, getting her to forgive him will not be easy. Sophia has her own past to overcome and she might discover new things in the process to finally heal and finally start her new life.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Own. Snow did a great job bringing everyone together for the final book in the trilogy. I like how Sophia stands up for herself and won’t back down a fight. She is perfect for Damon and as they go through their separate paths, they always seem to come back together. Damon thinking that he is not good for Sophia decides to walk away, but that doesn’t long when he is forced to face why she is the one meant for him. Damon will not give up until he makes Sophia his for good. If you love steamy suspenseful romances, then I would highly recommend checking out this trilogy. You will not regret it! :)
***I received an advanced copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.***
Own is the third book in the Violent Delights series and cannot be read as a standalone.
Damon and Sophia had a very turbulent relationship, but they finally got their HEA. Damon, of course, had to grovel after everything that happened in the previous book. Meanwhile, Sophia seems even more fierce and strong than she was before, which definitely made it harder for Damon to get her back.
I’m so happy Damon and Sophia finally got past everything so they could be together. Damon had to face his demons and open up, but Sophia was there for him.
This book had action, suspense, and spice. It was a great ending to Violent Delights trilogy.
I have really mixed feelings about this series. On the one hand, I feel like Damon and Sophia may have been my least favorite couple in the whole Midnight Dynasty world, but on the other, these books contained some of my favorite Morelli moments. I loved the family dinners and interactions with all of the siblings. BUT, it also seemed like all of the siblings [and parents] that we saw the most, they were written differently than they have been portrayed in all of the previous books, which was a little confusing.
This last bit isn't really about this book (or the Violent Delights trilogy) but I have been missing the basis of the world lately. There was ZERO mention of the Constantine's at all during this trilogy. And though we did get some insight into Sarah and Bryant, this close to the end, it feels like things should be coming together a little more than they have been in the last few books.
Own by Sienna Snow is the conclusion to Sophia Morelli and Damon Pierce's story. Their book is part of a much larger world within the Midnight Dynasty universe and contains characters from different stories. Overall, I'd say that I enjoyed Sophia and Damon's passionate and turbulent relationship even though he had a lot to grovel for after the events in Defy. Not only did he break Sophia's heart but he almost destroyed their relationship because of his own inner demons. I much preferred his mysterious, confidant, and dominant personality in Claim instead of this conflicted man who made a lot of mistakes where Sophia was concerned. But in many ways, he was in love with her and wanted what he thought was best for her. Sophia was a lot more likeable in this book because she learned how to survive without Damon and became more assured of herself. I did think that she forgave Damon way too easily but I understood why because the man was certainly persistent.
"I wanted him, needed him, and he'd broken my heart, shattered it into pieces. I refused to live through it again."
In the end, I enjoyed this book and thought that Sophia and Damon's story was consistent to the stories of past characters from this world. I am interested in Lizzy's book and who she might end up with because we're given a brief glimpse of this supposed "man" during Sophia's fashion show. In many ways, also liked that Sophia and Damon had a chance to mature and learned how to let go of their past. While I admit that I was frustrated with these two in the previous book, Damon and Sophia were able to redeem themselves in this one and I was glad to see that they were able to obtain their own happiness in the end. Fans of the Midnight Dynasty universe and opposites attract romance with BDSM elements will be sure to enjoy this one because it features a dominant and possessive hero who is helplessly in love when it comes to his independent, defiant, and sassy heroine.

2.5 Stars I think my review of book two of this trilogy, Defy, covers everything I feel about this last book too, but to paraphrase- I never got into this couple, they seemed off to me from the very beginning and it never got better for me personally. I didn't believe in their connection, didn't care for their dialogue and never bought into their version of a D/s relationship. There are steamy scenes but since I didn't feel anything for this couple I didn't feel anything from those either. I wasn't very interested in them as individuals, or in the side plots for them either.
The saving grace was the Morelli family bits, few as they were. I loved the Midnight Dynasty world so every little appearance of the extended Morelli characters we already know and love is a nice cookie crumb for me (with the caveat that I don't care for their dialogue either, and that they seem slightly off compared to their previous manifestations). I particularly liked the scene with the Morelli matriarch in this one, and it served to make more interested in the original Morelli/Constantine feud which I still hope we see a prequel from.
Have you read any of Dangerous Press’ Midnight Dynasty books? Have you met any of the Morelli family? If not I’m not sure exactly what you are waiting for!! Sienna Snow’s addition to this series just might be my favorite!
Who doesn’t love a broody Dom afraid to open up and show his vulnerabilities? I mean it just makes everyone love him, especially his Sophia, even if she doesn’t want to.
This is the third book in this trilogy, and yes you have to read the first two, but this storyline is just great. I love the connection between Damon and Sophia, I love the time we get to spend with broody Lucian Morelli, I love the relationship Damon has with him. I just love everything about this story!
Do not miss this one, read them all, Sienna did an outstanding job with this story, and I can’t wait to read more of her books because of it!
The finally scene is ready to be delivered and this time Sophia Morelli will come out on top.
After Defy I didn’t know what to think of Damon Pierce were his demons to much for even me to forgive what he did. I am so glad Sophia stood her ground, she was not the innocent girl ready to dive in Damon’s plan. She guarded up her heart and trust, she does not take him back after a little groveling. She made him work for and proved the best the Morelli we know and love. I so happy to see the Morelli clan from the previous series make multiple appearances in protecting Sophia. Damon has always kept Sophia in the dark and the see him have to open up, and fight for the future was a breath of fresh air.
I felt like I sped right through the continuation of Damon and Sophia's story in the best of ways. I was invested in their journey and whether they could come back from Damon self sabatoging both of them. I loved all the glimpses of the rest of the Morrell clan and how close the siblings are. I Sophia didn't get lost in the mix though and was her own person, stubborn and a mix of chaos. She had her moments of growth while still remaining true to herself. Damon has become brave in trying to let go of his past trauma for Sophia and I enjoyed his possessive side. This book was a great mixture of steam and plot while reminding me why I love the morelli world.
Own is the epic conclusion to Sophia and Damon’s thrilling romance!
I am going to start this review a little differently. I was unsure of this book and what my rating would be because the back and forth at the start of the book had me frustrated but the more I read I realized this is who they are. Sophia is a brat. She doesn’t take orders and she wants to carve her own path but she also craves dominance and stability which are two things Damon is good at. Damon thrives when he’s on control but he craves someone who can allow him to not always have that control and that is what Sophia does for him! They are two opposing forces but yet together they are powerful! So at the end I understood them and allowed the beauty of their balance to be the deciding factor of the 5 stars.
Sienna created a beautiful couple who found a calmness and foundation in their chaos. These two characters grew so much through the trilogy and it was refreshing to be a part of it through their entire journey. I loved their push and pull and how they truly loved each other in a way that allowed them both to flourish!
The thrilling conclusion to Damon and Sophia's trilogy.
The thrilling conclusion to Damon and Sophia's super steamy and emotional trilogy proves that Damon does have feelings and pushing Sophia away at the of Defy sends him on a bender as he grieves the loss of the woman he loves. This is how we begin the final part of their story and while he wakes up to himself quickly, it takes Sophia much longer to trust him with her heart again. Ms. Snow has written a conclusion that is hard to put down as she has these two dancing around each other, pushing and pulling the strings of their relationship as they fight for what they want. Mixed in we get Sophia's drive to release her first collection, plenty of family drama, both his and her's, and a night at the Violent Delights club you won't soon forget. The whole trilogy made for entertaining reading, and this was a fitting ending.
What a great conclusion to this trilogy!! Own brought Claim and Defy to its rightful conclusion in such a great way with so many questions answered between Sophia and Damon. Loved seeing Sophia coming into her own and not backing down for anyone! The entire Dangerous Press series is full of strong women and it's great to see that continued with Sophia and seeing her find herself through this trilogy was great. Damon had his own demons to conquer and in Own we finally got to see another side of him. Great story and can't wait for what's next for the Morellis and Constantines!!
ARC provided by Valentine PR for an honest review.
This is the third and final book in Damon & Sophia's story. They have so many emotional walls to breakthrough and tons of obstacles to overcome that it seems hopeless. Damon is very dominant and Sophia makes the perfect brat, always so stubborn. The story kept me reading to the very last page. Enjoy.
I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.
Love this series Love the Morellis Damon and Sophias back and forth broken heartstopping twisted forbidden heartwrenching love story Gripping Ready for more Need Lizzy
This was a beautiful ending to Damon and Sophie's story. I hated to see it end. I'm sure this will be a trilogy that I go back and read again. Loved it!!!
This author can write some series dream like set your Kindle in fire. I loved seeing these characters and being back in this world.I'm still on the fence with parents. I wanted more resolution there.. One moment I abhor Bryant with the heat of ten thousand suns and then he gives glimpses of a semi decent guy.
I appreciate the tie in with previous characters, especially since those characters were written by other authors. Somehow she still kept the characters true to the origials, which can't be an easy feat.
I look forward to Lizzie's story. I'm not sure whether this author will write it. Regardless, if something is written in this world I will read it.
I do believe the Morellis are my favorite family. They all have their own thing, but when push comes to shove they show up for one another. Lucian was funny in this book. He was always pushing them together.
Damon was so sure he knew what was best, and Sophia fought for herself. Unwilling to compromise what she knew she wanted. The final hurdle I didn’t see coming. That made me hold my breath. I loved this trilogy. I can’t wait for the next one!
3.5 I actually liked the heroine a lot in this one! She had a backbone and didn't hesitate to stand up for herself. Damon's reactions at the end of the last book and the beginning of this one left her emotionally hurting, but when push came to shove, she handled herself in a way that I love. Once Damon crawled himself out of his own self-imposed misery, he and Sophia make up gloriously just in time to fight one last battle together.
Damon and Sophia are back for the conclusion of this trilogy. One thing I loved was Demon and Lucian’s alpha friendship, they’re not scared of each other. And when Lucian came to see Damon and told him to get his act together and get back with his sister was hilarious. Sophia had to stand on her own for Damon to see how she was. Together Damien and Sophia were the perfect power couple and complemented each other as puzzle pieces coming together.
Own by Sienna Snow, is the third and final book of the Violent Delights Trilogy, we pick up the story where we left it, Damon is having a bad time but at the same time trying to convince himself that what he did was for the good of Sophia. For her part, although heartbroken, she realizes her value and although she knows that Damon did it to push her away, she refuses to allow anyone to steal her choices and not take her into account when it comes to decisions about her future, she now focuses on her new show and presenting pieces that represent her. When Damon realizes his mistake and after a few meddlesome giving him their opinion he decides to approach Sophia, but this time Sophia is not going to let her feelings get carried away so easily, so if Damon wants to win her back and dream of a future together he must really let her into his life. A conclusion with all the ingredients that we loved about this story from the beginning, with characters with whom you will laugh and fall in love, I definitely declare myself a fan of this Trilogy and these characters, I will be looking for the stories of the other characters in this story because I know those will be just as interesting. If you haven't already, go and look for this trilogy from its first book, you won't regret it. Highly recommended! *Thanks to Sienna Snow and Valentine PR & Literary Management for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*
Altamente Recomendada! *Gracias a Sienna Snow y a Valentine PR & Literary Management por mi ARC. Dejo voluntariamente mi reseña honesta*
We finally get the conclusion to the Violent Delights Trilogy. Damon and Sophia have had a journey and a half. Their character growth have been evident throughout the trilogy and you can see the difference from who they were in book 1 to who they become in the end of book 3. Although at the end of Defy Damon really annoyed me. But I understand how he let his demons consume him that he felt Sophia was better off without him but what he didn't realise was that she is so much stronger than he thought and he ruined it all. Starts with his grief of loss and he is more lost than he ever was. Recognising his mistake and now regretting his actions. What surprises me the most is Eve and Lucian actually being the voice of reason and advising Damon in their own unique ways to sort this out asap. I loved Sophia's character. She has grown so much and so strong. She has jumped into her passion of designing and is trying to ignore the heartache she is going through. She knows her worth and she won't be begging to be loved or valued, even though Damon did it out of love. I loved how she didn't back down and forgive him at the first instance he showed up to have her back. He had to work hard for it. I think he needed to grovel more haha. Damon did redeem himself though, which was a plus. He started to fight his demons and see he wasn't the same as his gene pool. But will he be able to ever repair that damage? Will Sophia ever forgive him for the heartbreak? When he finally says those 3 words, will it be enough? When things seem to go the right way, they might just lose each other in an unexpected life threatening event. I absolutely adored the extra characters. The Morelli siblings and their other halfs. Her unique friendship with Oliana and Karina. Oliana is a force to be reckoned with, Sophia had no chance but to be friends. Oliana was hilarious. I still loved the BDSM aspect of it all and how Sophia will never be the normal Submissive type but Damon would not have her any other way. A book full of action, drama, heartbreak, relationship, humour, family, emotions, love and spice. I really want to know what Izzy's story is and wonder if we will get that. Fantastic trilogy and can't wait for more from Sienna
Quotes I Liked:
"did we ever really start, or was it all an illusion?”
"I’d earn her forgiveness. That was my vow."
“We know you are no gentleman when it comes to s3x, Mr. Pierce. You’re positively unhinged.”
"With him, I was safe. With him, there was pleasure. With him, I could let go."
“Even when you broke my heart, I never stopped loving you.”
❝ i’ll make a liar out of you the second i slide my hands down your pants. ❞
Initial Thoughts the wedding scene had me a little disappointed, given the chapter ended with a surprise appearance from DAMON. it kinda felt like the chapter ended abruptly and also felt unfinished - i would have liked to see more happen with this scene between SOPHIA and DAMON.
Characters EVA and LUCIEN were everything in this book, especially with the intervention scene. LUCIEN being like ‘i ain’t leaving because EVA made food’ was so real of him. we gotta love protective siblings, especially considering that LUCIEN and SOPHIA are one of my favourite MORELLI siblings - the black sheep’s of the family sticking together <3
LUCIEN and DAMON’s bromance was something — the way that LUCIEN bitched about not getting baby products like EVA when he was also at the interventions had me giggling.
LIZZY and SOPHIA’s relationship was EVERYTHING, and this book has me really excited for whatever LIZZY’s book may have in store for us (if we get one). that being said i WISH we got more scenes with ELAINE and SOPHIA because the little bits that we did get were adorable.
the friendship between SOPHIA and OLIANA had me laughing — i love the type of crazy that OLIANA is, she is an icon!
Final Thoughts i loved how SOPHIA didn’t forgive DAMON until we got nearer to the end of the book, but i felt like somehow there was still little grovelling? it felt like DAMON was constantly asking her whether she trusts him but would not prove that he trusted her, like she had asked him to do.
that being said, i enjoyed this book. especially the sibling relationships and the friendships between the characters. the one thing that happened in this book that made me so happy was that we got a scene of SOPHIA’s debut fashion show - it was epic and my favourite scene!
I received an ARC from ValentinePR in exchange for an honest review!
The saga of Sophia Morelli and Damon Pierce has come to an end. Sophia is still a "brat" and Damon is still mesmerized and consumed with her. His possessive nature has not dulled, his obsession still alive and well, and he has finally succeeded in "OWNING" Sophia, but on her terms.
They been through a lot as a couple. Ups and downs, push and pull, love and hate. Thier story has played out and has ended almost on a different trajectory. Sophia's no longer in trouble with the law, Damon is no longer responsible for her, so now they are faced with finding their way back together or drifting apart. Sophia remains stubborn and sticks to her beliefs that she will not be told what to do by any man, but this is the side of her that Damon loves so much. She is strong and can survive anything on her own, but having an equal partner in crime is something she can embrace.
Not only was this the end of the Violent Delights trilogy, but it also brought the whole Morelli crew back together and tied up a few dangling ends. Lizzy is exploring her sexuality. Leo and Lucien are still the controlling older brothers, only they now have their own littles to guide and mold. Eva's happy ever after has come to fruition, and it seems Sophia and her mother understand each other a little bit better.
This book takes us deeper into the BDSM world and the scenes are nothing short of erotically stimulating. It concludes, for now, the Midnight Dynasty world, the war of the Constantines versus the Morellis. Many of them have come to set the war aside and live is somewhat harmony, but they all but family loyalty front and center. They love fiercely and protect their own with the ferocity of a mother lion protecting her cubs. There wasn't one book in this world that I didn't enjoy, and I look forward to more books, if they should come.
I loved this finale! Sophia and Damon are broken up, and yet, the love they have for each other is undeniable. Both are suffering, Damon feels guilty and Sophia feels broken. Incredibly, it’s Lucian who interferes after Damon’s drunken bender and convinces him to fight for Sophia. Loved when Eva Morelli appears at Damon’s condo and has Lucian heat up her famous gnocchi for them! Lucian is a grump but there’s no denying the love he feels for his sisters.
In this last book of the trilogy, we see a Sophia who feels more evolved in spite of her heartbreak and a Damon who faced his demons and is determined to get his lady back. I love seeing Damon loving Sophia and accepting her with all her brattiness. There’s a wonderful scene between Sophia and her mother where both bare their hearts and achieve something that Sophia had never had, a loving mother talking to her and giving heartfelt advice.
The banter between Lucian and Damon feels like fighting but seems to be their way to be friends. They are loyal but insulting, and it seems to work for them. All the Morelli siblings appear here, in some way, and it’s clear the link between them and how they are one against the parental units.
We see Damon, affected by a dark childhood and learning to overcome his issues, thanks to Sophia. Their coming together, both with kink and with hearts open is sweet and spicy. In the first book, I saw Damon as the strong one and Sophia as the young one, learning the ropes. In this book, they feel equal and I saw a Damon loving his bratty girl and wanting her happiness above his. Great trilogy!

Review:
The second book had finished in quite a dramatic fashion and I had big expectations for an extensive groveling here. It didn’t happen, exactly… However, both Damon and Sophia had to learn or relearn to trust the other completely before they could overcome their break up.
I’ve always had a preference for the Morellis and the interaction of both the MCs with the family added to the story, the ones with Lucian were my favorites. Sophia and Damon were always a couple who liked to banter, so if this is something that pleases you, it this trilogy won’t disappoint you. Also, the spicy scenes were really hot and descriptive, what I liked and Sienna doesn’t disappoint.
The drama with Lizzy and the incident at Violent Delights didn’t add much to the story in my opinion, but the MCs learning to accept and moving on from the traumatic things of their pasts was interesting to read. In general, this trilogy was one I enjoyed and recommend. A great addition to this already amazing series.

This is the third book in the Violent Delight Series. You will need to read Claim and Defy before diving in to Own. You will be lost if you do and trust me the other two books are really good and you do not want to miss them. I was kind of sad to know that I had the end of Damon and Sophia's story in my hands. I have loved all the time I have spent with these amazing characters. These two have been through so many ups and downs and we have all been right there with them. Laughing and crying. Mad and happy. You name the emotion and it has been gone though in this series. I love these two so very much. You know how we ended in Defy and there is no doubt that Damon has a lot of making up to do. I was so angry and offended for Sophia. I get that he has inner demons that he is fighting but breaking Sienna's heart and mine and nearly turning their relationship to ash almost broke me. However there is no doubt that the man only wanted what was best for her but he sure had a strange way of showing it. Sophia is learning how to survive without Damon and I loved watching her strength blossom and her confidence soar. This series has been so amazing and I really loved every single second I spent lost in this world. There is no doubt in my mind that I would devour any and every book in the Midnight Dynasty world and this series did not disappoint.
The conclusion to Sienna Snow's Violent Delights trilogy is here. OWN is a passionate, emotional, heartstopping finale to Sophie Morelli and Damon Pierce's story. After the events of book #2, Defy, a lot needed to change if there was going to be any chance of a future relationship between this duo who simply sizzle in each other's presence.
I loved that Sophie grew as a person in this book. Heartbroken after Damon's act at Violent Delights, she threw all her time and energy into her career, but she also looked at her life a realized just how she wanted to be as a person, strong, resilient, and in charge. Although she's still a brat and determined not to give into Damon's renewed advances, she still craves his dominance and his touch. Damon has always craved control of his life, something that seemed to disappear whenever he was with Sophie. Once he began to reassess his life, he realized letting Sophie go was his biggest mistake, he wanted, no needed her back in his life, she balanced him. Will they be able to find the compromise that will bring peace to their chaos?
OWN was the perfect conclusion to this trilogy. I loved this chaotic couple, the drama, the suspense, the heated intimacy. It was gripping and compelling, forcing me to remain on the edge of my seat. A mandatory read.
The gripping conclusion to the Violent Delights trilogy set the Midnight Dynasty world featuring the Morelli and Constantine clans and Own starts with the aftermath of Damon’s deliberate sabotaging of his budding relationship with Sophia Morelli. With some unwelcome advice from a surprising quarter, he soon realises that he’s not his father or grandfather and that he’s thrown away something special and vows to win Sophia back.
I started this book actively disliking Damon for his treatment of Sophia, but he won me over with his pursuit while she surprised me with her newfound strength as the submissive stood up to the Dom and her refusal to let Damon back into her life. Her development across this trilogy was great as she went from the perpetual party girl to a successful designer which opened the door for her relationship with her new BFF Oliana Dominik, the scary Bratva Queen who stole the scene whenever she made an appearance. Together they made a great double act. With a large cast of secondary characters mainly various Morellis all ready and willing to offer advice or interfere depending on whose opinion you asked, this trilogy has ended on a high. It was fabulous to see the closeness between the siblings. They might fight and argue but there was no doubting the love they had for one another.
