Three sexy SHORT STORIES in all-dialogue format. "Dezyrah's Talk Dirty To Me" - Dezyrah teaches her phone sex customer that, if you can learn to talk dirty, hot waitresses will like you. "Value for Oh" - Can a soft-hearted hard scientist learn how to satisfy a tough-talking soft biologist? "Something for Everyone" - How to use Jewish love magic to power commercial airlines between Mercury and Saturn. (or) How middle-aged women get paid big bucks to make out with young studboys.
I started swimming at 40, riding horses at 42, roller derby at 52, speed skating at 54 ... something's backward there. Read about my latest bruise at https://www.facebook.com/JenniferStev...
I've been writing since I was four, and didn't publish a story til I was 34 ... something's backward there too. Read about my latest books at http://www.bookviewcafe.com/index.php...
Living my life backwards means I get to eat bacon every day and goof off all summer. Don't be fooled. Writing is still a job.
I got this short read free, and I am really glad I did. I thing the concept of all dialogue is interesting and it has to be a challenge to write, but I found out that it is not something I really enjoy. The first one of the 3 stories was the easiest to follow for me; the 2nd not too bad but the third one I couldn't even finish it. Disappointing.
I read this book via a mobi.file which I’d received from the author in return for my honest opinion.
This book made he feel as if I’d been eavesdropping on my next-door neighbors or on the couple in the hotel/motel room next to mine, through a hidden microphone I’d concealed there.
With merely the dialogue available, my mind ran wild envisioning how sexy the individuals speaking looked like and what clothes if any did they have on. I wished I could have been a fly on the wall/ceiling so I would be able to actually see what had been transpiring.
While I’d found this first-time experience reading dialogue only stories quite interesting if not unique, this book is not for everyone. Considering everything about this book and what it has to offer, I’ve given Ms. Stevenson 4 STARS for her efforts.
These stories were very difficult to follow along with. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the all-dialogue format of writing, since its easy too get the characters confused, and with no supporting details surrounding the story, I found myself re-reading parts 3 or 4 times, just to understand it. The writing was fine, but I don't see myself reading any more of this style of books.
The stories were imaginative and different however doing through talking only I found it incredibly difficult to follow who was saying what, where the conversations were going and keeping track of who was speaking. Often three voices made it incredibly difficult to know what was going on. Whilst an interesting idea I really did not get on well with the book and found it a struggle which is unfortunate.
I found that I am NOT a fan of all-dialogue. I could not finish the first short story. I love to read, but I now know that all-dialogue is not for me. Review posted on another site.
