Los sentimientos de Tamaki y de los hemanos Hitachiin están saliendo a la luz, vaya incluso los de Haruhi.
Y ame la no confesión de Kaoru.

We are now getting deeper into the story. More and more episodes are turning up that weren't on the show. And while I personally am not 100% shipping Haruhi and Tamaki, as things are progressing it is kind of sweet.

How I choose my rating:
1* Didn't like it at all. These are rare as I usually just don't finish any book I dislike this much.
2** Didn't like it. Again usually DNF if I dislike it this much, but occasionally I feel it still has potential and I try to stick with it to the end.
3*** I liked it. It wasn't great but it was enjoyable enough. It is unlikely I'll ever reread it but I'll probably finish the series if it is a part of one.
4**** I really liked this book. Maybe not a work of genius, but highly entertaining. I might reread this at some point, and I will finish the series if part of one.
5***** I loved this book. I found little to no issues with it at all. I will probably reread this and possibly more than once. I will finish the series if it's part of one.

Having broken a priceless vase, Haruhi Fujioka is in debt to the host club, and this romantic comedy series follows her as she tries to pay it back.

In this volume, we meet a brand new semi-regular character - Mei! It seems a bit late to be introducing another main (ish) character, but I actually like Mei a lot. She is very different from Haruhi, and it's nice for Haruhi to have a female friend (that knows her secret, unlike Renge).

We also get introduced to a girl with a crush on Hunny, and to the school sports festival story arc (which is concluded next volume).

Also, hey, Kyoya has some passion in him. Despite the fact he and Tamaki have a bit of a falling out this volume, I loved seeing a different side to Kyoya.

And Mori bought a baby chick, which is absolutely adorable. It can be seen riding around on his head, teehee. :)

The romance plots continue to grow stronger. I was particularly interested in the twins - as Kaoru points out, they share everything, but there is only one Haruhi. I'm pretty sure Tamaki is going to end up with Haruhi (it's been slanted that way since volume one), but it'd be a nice surprise if someone else ended up the male romantic lead. :P

And last, but not least, we get to properly meet Hikaru and Kaoru's parents. I love their dad!

Compared to volume nine, this volume felt stuffed full of content. I love the direction in which this is moving.

Kasanoda appearance! Always happy to see him!

This volume starts with a Hunny story I really didn't like. Aside from thinking anyone with a crush on him should be on a watch list, the girl after him in this story was really creepy. Aside from the story where the club helps the guy when his little sister is afraid of the dark, I haven't really enjoyed the dark magic club's involvement in any story so far.

The Mei story was touch and go for a bit because she was so mean to her father. I mean, who cares that he's a drag queen? He cared so much for her and the story ends with me still not quite understanding what her problem was? Especially since it seemed her mother was okay with him?

The volume ends on a set up for a sports festival and that should be interesting. Kyoya is most interesting interacting with Tamaki, so there should be some development for him, hopefully. He's still the member I feel I know the least about aside from Mori.

A bit mixed. I didn't like the new character of Mei. That said, there was some good work with Tamaki and the Hitachin brothers. What little there is of an ongoing storyline is slowly (very, very slowly) moving forward in this volume.

The girl from the black magic club becoming obsessed with Hunny was so funny, but I loved how Hunny handled her in the end. She just didn’t know how to express her feelings except from using curses. I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing more of her chasing Hunny 🖤🐰

And we’re finally graced with Haruhi wearing female uniform (although not of her own school lol) and making a new female friend 💖✨ Mei seemed like she would tick me off at first, but she ended up being genuinely a sweet girl. Her budding friendship with Haruhi was adorable, and I appreciate her backing off from pursuing Tamaki when she noticed the truth. She’s a girl’s girl 💗💗

The sudden revelation of Kaoru’s feelings made me feel sad though :( he cares more about Hikaru’s well-being than his own ughghggh this twin breaks my heart 😔💔

I've mentioned in a previous review that I really don't want Haruhi to get together with any of the members of the Host Club, but I know it's inevitably going to happen and let's be honest, even though there is a love triangle (would this be a shojo manga if there wasn't?) we ALL know that Haruhi and Tamaki will get together in the end. Despite, however, my want for her to not get together with any of them, I am totally Team Kaoru.

Haruhi and Tamaki are just not a good match. Plain and simple. They are like the Ron and Hermione of this series - they make no sense. They are just too different that no matter how much their initial attraction is, their differences would eventually start to get on each other's nerves. This is reality. Kaoru and Haruhi, on the other hand, make much more sense. Haruhi seems to be the only one who completely gets the twins and sees them as individuals. Not only would that make their bond stronger on Kaoru's end, but the fact that she gets them so well would make it easier for her to be in a relationship with him, to be understanding and accepting because she already is. This is reality.

I know that's not going to happen, but it should. Because that actually makes sense.

Ha.... rant aside, another fun volume. I can't wait to see how the battle goes down in volume 11!

These volumes just keep getting better and better! I was glad we started out with an episode focusing on a girl having a crush on Hunny. He and Mori are often pushed to the side—which is so sad. It was a cute little beginning to the volume.

Then, we’re introduced to a new character—Mei! She’s an independent and different type of character from what we’re used to. I liked her interactions with Haruhi a lot. I hope she’ll continue to be used in future volumes.

There’s also the beginning of issues between the club members in this volume. Tamaki and Kyoya have a spat in this volume. Of course their friendship will withstand a petty argument, but the fact they’re arguing is odd.

These are great. I love them.

Ah, the last volume that I needed to reread before I could start reading the volumes that I have never read before! I couldn't remember anything from this one (maybe because it's not really in the anime?) and so it was almost like reading a new volume! I loved Mei's character and we finally see and hear some romance... It makes me so excited for the next volume! I also must say that I love Kyoya and Mori so much more than before. They get more page time in the manga than they get in the anime and they are both such interesting characters! I also love how perceptive Hunny is, it's not something that is really shown in the anime!

Ugh. We're getting so much closer to OTP happening and I love it so much!!

I also really loved the fact that Hikaru and Kaoru's were in this volume. I love getting to see nore of the characters' lives, not just the antics they get to in the Host Club.

I felt like this volume was all over the place. I do want to finish this series one day so maybe I'll wait when I'm in the right mind set or whatever.

Still very good, though I’m not the biggest fan Mei. She’s just... too much. Tamaki is rnough for an over-the-top dramatic character, I don’t think we need another.

And did I miss something or did Mori’s chick just appear out of thin air? I’m confused...

I have such mixed feelings about this volume. I loved the first and last episodes in this volume and wasn't a fan of the middle ones. I'm not a fan of Mei. Kaoru and Hikaru were amazing in this volume. I will be continuing on with this series very soon.

شخصیت‌ها به مرور دارند عمیق‌تر می‌شند. حتی دارند کم کم بزرگ و بالغ می‌شند. فکر کنم توی ولوم بعدی بحث احساساتشون بیشتر بررسی بشه.

Stories this good make me wish I knew how to think about them critically so I can say why they make me feel the way they do. But all I know is that this makes me happy, and the host club would say that's enough.

I feel much more blah about this volume — It doesn't really have any of my favorite side characters or arcs, other than some Tamaki & twin scenes.

Harui’s new friend was a fun addition to the group dynamic, but Tamaki and Haruhi finally starting to realize their feelings for each other was great.
