“Spellbinding action and steamy romance.” Goodreads on Wild Wolf Mate
Can a gifted female on an impossible mission and a tortured wolf shifter doomed to die in a cage risk trust to save each other?
Bosse will never leave the cage he’s been locked in for over the past two years. Used as entertainment for a lion shifter pretending to be a king, he’s forced to battle other shifters daily where only one can survive thanks to his pack alpha who sold him. The minute he realized female pack members were coming to his bed only to breed, he refused to have a cub born by women unworthy of being mates only to be taken away. Then a chance for escape comes from a strange female servant who secretly gives him food better than his normal gruel, he’s immediately suspicious but … she also leaves him cookies. Who bakes cookies for a monster? The more he watches her, the more his numb heart begins to feel again, which is dangerous. What if she’s trying to trick him like others who betrayed him?
When an important female leader goes missing, Alifair is tasked with finding the woman. Why? Because Alifair inherited the duty to protect her clan of gifted beings, but her magic is flawed. Even her best asset of clairvoyant dreams has occasional hiccups. That’s how she ended up captured in Slovakia to toil as a servant where the female leader is being held. With no sight of the leader in weeks, Alifair is at the point of panic until a new dream shows points to the person who can aid her in succeeding at her duty. Her dream godmother must have been on a drinking binge because Alifair will first have to free the most dangerous wolf shifter locked in the basement cages. Then time runs out when Bosse infuriates the crazy lion shifter who decrees Boose will die by the next morning, forcing her to gamble her life to make deal with the wolf shifter.
Alifair enters his cage prepared for the worst and discovers a man who touches her heart with one surprising action. Bosse’s cookie fairy offers him the freedom he never expected, but with an unacceptable condition.

You can always count on Dianna Love to give you an exciting and entertaining read; filled with action and usually a romantic interest. After angering his Alpha, Bosse is sold to a sadistic lion shifter, Krol who pits those he "owns" against one another in deadly cage fights with his being the only deciding vote as to if the loser dies or lives to fight another day. Bosse has been fighting for two years and Krol is tired of his continued survival. He starts leaving his wounds unattended and barely giving him enough food and water to survive. Enter Alifair who has hidden her special abilities and allowed herself to be captured. She's there to rescue her clan leader, Rez but her heart his filled with sympathy when she sees how Bosse is treated. Despite the great danger to herself she starts sneaking him food, water and tending his wounds. Will Alifair be able to rescue Rez. Will Bosse escape from his torturous existence? Will both of them discover that they are more powerful together?
What a wonderful book! I love Dianna Love's books and this one is, to me, the best one so far! I loved the action, the drama, the romance (which normally annoys me lol. I just don't like romance novels.) I really just can't say enough good things about this book.
When I heard there would be a new series with connections to the League Of Gallize Shifters stories, I was very eager to read the first book. Once I started BOSSE, I was transported to places and events where I was completely immersed in what was occurring in the lives of numerous individuals that were always realistically convincing. While the main characters may have supernatural traits, there was never a time when their behavior did not come across as true-to-life. Dianna Love has always had a gift for creating stories where every aspect is truly believable, and her Wild Wolf Pack series proves this fact during each enthralling scene.
By not following the wishes of the alpha of his pack, Bosse was sold to a lion shifter with exceedingly malicious intentions. Now his days are filled with one fight after another, where the loser will no longer live. Bosse is determined to not die regardless of his opponent, but his strength is waning because of horrendous mistreatment. One night after a very difficult match, a female servant comes to his cage, supposedly to aid with his injuries. But Alifair has her own reasons for visiting along with sneaking him food in the past. She and other individuals have special capabilities, and the leader of their clan has disappeared. A dream revealed to Alifair the woman may be imprisoned in a castle. She also saw that Bosse is vital to getting their leader back, and while she will do her best to help him breakout along with the leader, her hastily put together plan could be problematic.
Pulse-pounding fights, emotional undertakings, and unpredicted circumstances make BOSSE not only continuously riveting but also causes mounting anxiety over what will occur next. I was afraid for Bosse and Alifair quite a few times, as both faced situations that often could end in tragedy. Dianna Love definitely knows how to keep the reader engrossed in the storyline, as future developments could go in any direction and are never guaranteed to result in happiness. Bosse has lived with heartache for much of his life, and he is constantly challenged in the present for even the right to stay alive. Upon encountering Alifair, whose past has not been the best either, this couple discovers some surprising details that just might be their salvation. Several characters from the League Of Gallize Shifters series make an appearance, and they greatly enhanced the story with their commanding personalities.
Bosse by Dianna Love is another wonderful story in the World of Gallize Shifters. I am a big fan of Dianna Love, as she always gives us fantastic stories. We meet Bosse, after his alpha sold him to a Lion shifter, and his days are filled with dangerous fights ordered by his king, Krol; with the loser dying. Bosse (his wolf Titan) are slowly losing their strength because of the horrific treatment.
We also meet Alifair, who is imprisoned in the castle with other women, doing cleaning, cooking, etc. She does have dreams that are realistic, and sneaks food to Bosse, as she as some magical ability, and knows she needs to help him escape. Alifair is also looking for her leader, Rez, who has been kidnapped; she does know somewhere in the complex, she needs to rescue her.
Alifair & Bosse have their dreams, with them discovering some surprising details that just might be their salvation. She goes out of her way secretly doing everything to keep Bosse alive and healthy; as they both are beginning to become of fond of each other. Their relationship changes quickly and a romantic love between them escalates; and Alifair helps Bosse escape.
Bosse eventually will meets up with the Gallize shifters, who will help him go back and defeat the evil king. He knows he needs to get back to Alifair, in achieving her goal to save her leader, as well as save another pregnant Gallize woman. The Gallize warriors will join Bosse to defeat the enemies.
The last third of the book was extremely wild, action packed, intense and exciting, with Bosse and his new friends from the Gallize battle to free the woman and destroy Krol. Bosse was a fantastic story filled with twists and surprises, that was very addicting. Bosse was so very well written by Dianna Love. If you enjoy action, exciting adventure and romance, you need to read Bosse.
I was provided an ARC of this book via the author, all opinions are my own.
I am a huge fan of the League of Gallize Shifters series but this book fell a little short for me. This was missing the fast paced action and suspense that I've come to expect from the books connected to this series. This one is a bit more of a slow burn, with long periods between the action scenes. The plot picks up at about the halfway point and we learn what Alifair's true purpose is and why she is posing as a servant. When she helps Bosse escape his captivity and he eventually meets up with the Gallize, he knows he has to get back to Alifair and help her achieve her goal. Bosse is determined to get back to the woman who helped him find his freedom and who has quickly captured his heart. The action really picks up when the man who held Bosse captive makes a deal with a powerful mage and not only endangers Alifair but two other powerful women. Bosse and his newfound pack mobilize and will stop at nothing to save the women and stop the madman.
Overall, despite the slower pacing, I thought the plot was entertaining. We get to meet some new characters both friend and foe. There are some interesting new creatures and magic is used a bit more in this book than in some of the prior books in this world.
This is the first in a new spinoff series, and can be read as a complete standalone. The one thing Dianna always does a good job in all of her companion novels is give the reader enough information to read each one as a standalone. The same holds true here, if you have read any of the books from the Gallize series, you will meet some familiar characters, but if you haven't she does a good job explaining what is going on. You can start with this one or if you are long time fan you can pick up.
I love the way that Dianna Love writes, she is one of my favorite authors and she hasn't disappointed me in her writing yet! The way she writes her shifters makes you fall in love with them. While this is linked to the Gallize series you don't have to know it in order to read this one which makes it amazing in my opinion.
We meet Bosse our hero, who isn't exactly hero type but he has a heart. Bosse is just trying to survive while captive. Living one day at a time, one fight at a time against the tyrant who holds him captive. He's a shifter wolf, and a big one but it doesn't make him any less deadly than the animals that he's pit against.
Alifair is our heroine, quite trying to do things in order to save her friend Rez. She'll need Bosse, who she's found herself growing fond of. Trying to work on keeping Bosse alive, and somewhat healthy while also trying to find her friend is no simple task and the continued work of being meek is a hard act to keep up at times.
Alifair and Bosse go through alot, not only as a couple but individually on their own fighting. It takes time for them to sort things out and save everyone that they are trying to save. There are bumps in the road, and Dianna's writing leaves you wanting more as you keep turning the pages to figure out if these two are going to make it. I rooted for these two to make it through for Bosse to find his happiness with the one he wants.
The writing is cohesive and never once am I left going "I don't want to read this." or feeling confused when things are shifting from one point to the other. It's all put into order and you're able to watch things unfold. I absolutely love this book and recommend it to anyone who wants to pick up a shifter book. It's got your romance and adventure tied up into a nice bow.
Dianna Love has done it again, she’s an absolute wonder at writing amazing characters that come to life on the page.
This all new spinoff series of the original Gallize shifter novels is full of all the fantasy fiction elements you would expect from this author, plus thrown into the mix is an action packed storyline, a broken hero that needs saving and a heroine that needs saving right back.
Bosse and Alifair’s relationship starts with them both needing a little help from each other to win their own freedom. They are both a little wary of each other to start with that is until they realise that they need each other to reach their own personal goal and purpose. Meanwhile as they get to know each other that relationship dynamic quickly changes and becomes a romantic love born out of just trying to survive the evil that they both come face to face with.
They find themselves come up against an evil lion shifter who acts like he is the King of his medieval castle, a mage that uses dark magic and many other creatures that try to get in their way. We also see a few of the characters from the original series of the Gallize shifters including the dreaded Black River pack.
I really enjoyed Bosse and Alifair‘s story, it was really heartbreaking reading about how Bosse had been treated all his life, and I was just so happy that he found his home and his happy ever after. I'm really looking forward to reading more books to come in this series.
Dianna Love has given us another amazing story! This is the first book in the spin-off series from the League of Gallize Shifters and is a great start. The story is filled with action, adventure, and romance that kept me reading into the middle of the night. I can't wait to see what Ms. Love has planned for the next book in this series.
Bosse knew he would never find love, especially after spending the last two years locked in a cage and fighting for his life on a daily basis knowing he was eventually going to die in one of those fights. He never expected the gift of cookies would make him wonder about the woman who left them. Can one woman open his heart and that of his wolf?
Alifair is gifted and inherited the duty to protect her clan. She's also responsible for finding the leader of her clan. She gets herself taken to live in a castle where she fells the leader is, but her dreams show her she has to depend on the wolf shifter she is terrified of and free him. What she never expected was to find a man under the wolf who touches her heart.
Can Bosse really help Alifair find the missing clan leader, or will they have to fight to stay alive and excape the lion shifter who controls both their lives.
I received a copy of this book from the author. My review is honest and voluntary.
I love this spin off! It helps if you have read the Gallize Shifter series just so you will understand more of the world building that this is set in but this is a stand alone book. Bosse (& Titan his wolf) have been betrayed by everyone they have ever known including his own mother, who helped sell him into slavery when he would not bed & bred w/women who only wanted him for the large offspring he could give them. He has been fighting for his life daily from a cruel lion shifter who thinks himself a king & makes everyone live as if it is medieval times. He thinks of himself a monster til a woman w/2 different colored eyes starts to give him protein to heal & cookies. Alifair is a woman w/magical gifts that aren’t always reliable but she has been tasked w/finding her mother’s best friend & leader of their clan. Her dreams are prophetic & the dreams have told her Bosse (Titan) is the key to saving her friend. She starts to help Bosse survive the crazy lion shifter & planning his escape. They never expect to fall in love. Will they both live to explore this new found love? Read the series to find out! They also meet the Gallize shifter along the way & you will recognize some of them if you have read the Gallize shifter series. Highly recommend!
Fantastic start to a new spin off series in the Gallize world! Bosse has an engaging plot, interesting characters, action, adventure, and romance. Bosse is a story of survival and perseverance.
Bosse and Alifair are two of the most unwavering and persistent people. Bosse refuses to give up and die in the arena. He’ll stay alive as long as he can. Alifair goes to extreme measures to find her missing clan leader. She puts herself in harm’s way repeatedly. Both have past experiences that cause them to have major trust issues, but when they come together their chemistry is tangible.
Their journey is one of non-stop action, danger, and adventure while trust is being formed between them. Alifair’s magical nature keeps things interesting as she’s never quite sure what will happen. Bosse’s wolf Titan is fierce and strongly connected to him. Together they all make a stalwart team to stand against the evil they face.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story and their romantic connection. Dianna Love’s characters always show emotional growth as her stories progress endearing her characters to readers.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is the first in the Wild Wolf Pack series which expands the world of Gallize shifters. It is a stand alone series but as some of the Gallize characters make an appearance I think having read some of that series helped me to connect better to the storyline and characters. Bosse is tortured by what he has had to do to survive imprisonment by the insane pseudo king Krol. His pain is palpable through Dianna’s words. A wolf shifter with ethics he believes he has become a monster, and his life is over. Alifair is a bit of a mystery, she has her own mission and reason for working as a servant in the castle. Somehow, she has to find her missing leader, despite her flawed magic and clairvoyant dreams. Duty is a bitch when you don’t have the skills to fulfill it. Decent world building and character introduction but not enough reveal or resolution of the main character’s story for me. Was left with lots of unanswered questions. I enjoyed the book but feel it was a taster rather than a full meal. I was left wanting more which I suppose is a good start to a new series.
Dianna Love is amazing at keeping the reader enthralled from the very first page and Bosse is no exception! Sold by his pack to a mad lion shifter who thinks he's a medieval king, Bosse had had to fight other shifters in an arena for 2 years and expects to die there. Meanwhile Alifair allows herself to be captured as a servant for the castle as they have kidnapped her clan leader. Alifair is drawn to Bosse and secretly starts to bring him small amounts of food and cookies. Bosse is suspicious at first, but slowly starts to trust Alifair and follows her when she has a plan to help him escape, though she remains at the castle and continues to look for evidence of where her clan leader is being kept. When free, Bosse is determined to return and free Alifair, but before he can mount a rescue mission, a series of events see him arrive in America and meet the Gallize Shifters. What follows is not just a rescue mission for Alifair, but also her clan leader and a Gallize mate who has been kidnapped and taken to the castle as part of a deal between the lion shifter and one of the power barons.
Once again, Dianna Love does an amazing job of creating characters that readers will love and building a world that readers will become immersed in. The Gallize shifters are back with a new spin-off but with some familiar foes.
In this action-packed story, we meet Bosse and Alifair. Betrayed in the worst way possible by those who should have loved and protected him, Bosse faces a tough challenge while Alifair is determined to achieve what seems like an impossible task. Their lives collide in the best way possible, as sometimes you just need to save each other! The two find themselves in battle for survival, facing deranged shifters, an evil mage, and dark magic. As Bosse and Alifair depend on one another, love blossoms.
I enjoyed this story though it started with a slow build. Dianna Love has a way of pulling her readers in with great imagery and character development that makes the reader become quickly invested. I recommend this one.
This was such an amazing book. I could not put it down for a second. All of Dianna's books are like this though, massive page turners that keep you glued to the book.
Bosse is a wolf shifter that has been in a cage and fighting for his life in battle after battle. He had given up on ever seeing freedom again. He was sold to a crazy Lion shifter that thought he was a king in medieval times.
Alifair is a woman that is trying to locate a fellow clan member that managed to get herself captured just so she can find her clan member. Alifair then becomes a servant and also needs to get Bosse to freedom. She starts giving him extra food and cookies so he can heal faster between fights.
Alifair manages to get Bosse free and both of them need to trust each other to remain free. Once freed they have to save Alifair's clan member and a pregnant mate of a Gallize shifter.
Dianna Love has always been one of my favorite authors. I'm happy to say that Bosse met the high expectations I always seem to have for her books. She never disappoints.
Alifair and Bosse were well-written characters, and I really liked them together. It was nice to see some familiar faces in this book too. But don't worry. If you haven't read the other Gallize books, you'll be fine.
Ugh. I hate to say it, but I even liked Krol. I thought he was really interesting. While it feels wrong to enjoy a good villain, I feel like one should give credit where credit is due.
The story was fast-paced. I loved the ending, as it wasn't what I was expecting, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next. Sign me up for this hot new spin-off series!
I’m always excited for a new Dianna Love book and have never been disappointed and wasn’t with this story. Bosse is a great read full of action, mystery and learning love and trust when you’ve never had it before. Dianna writes characters that you love and believe in and can’t help but root for. BOSSE and Alifair have a tough road to be together, and it’s one we follow with them cheering them on for success in their efforts in a hard world. This book is a new series start set in the Gallize Shifters world, but Dianna is so skilled at world building if you haven’t read that series you can read BOSSE and not feel lost. (But if you haven’t read the Gallize Shefters I hope you are now, amazing series).
If you loved the League Of Gallize Shifters then you are going to be enthralled with Bosse.
Connected to the Gallize world but with a fresh new look. Bosse is just trying to survive as a captive in a violent world. He has survived but has little hope or trust – due to the mistreatment of the pack that sold him – until Alifair.
Alifair needs his help and a strong Bosse will be perfect, so as a servant she is able to sneak food to him so that his shifter can heal. She will rescue him and he in turn will help her rescue her people.
A well written, often violent story line that will never let you down. In fact, you might want to set aside some time to read Bosse as putting it down is near impossible.
Another amazing book, set in the Gallize world, where not everything is as it seems. Bosse and Alifair's story has you rooting for them from the very start, he is the injured lost soul and she is the determined young woman who is committed to her people. Just how will it all work out? Their love story with the inclusion of favourites such as Jaz, Adrian and Justin make this the perfect book that you do not want to put down. I was left wanting more as the characters are so well written it's like a tv show where you can't wait for the next episode. Hopefully we will see them in future books to find out how their story continues.
I was excited to read this book because Dianna Love always has great characters and this was no exception. Bosse and Alifair are two people damaged by people in their lives who should have looked out for them. They end up in circumstances that should have broken them but instead give them hope. Their journey to find themselves individually, and as a couple, takes them far and wide, but their belief in each other allows them to triumph in the end and receive the validation they deserve.
Highly recommend these books and can't wait to read the next one!
In this new series which is a takeoff from the Gallize shifter books, Dianna Love has created a world of black magic, terrifying beings and a lion shifter who believes himself to be a "king" in his own medieval castle...Bosse (and his inner wolf Titan) was sold to the "king" through treachery from his own wolf pack and forced to fight death matches for past two years, helped by a clairvoyant Alifair who is in castle looking for her clan leader and dreamed that Bosse important to her plans...thus gives him extra food for his wolf to heal and cookies...but could two beings that don't fully trust each other help defeat the madness both are living???
A return to the world of the Galize shifters. While it’s helpful to be familiar with the lore of this world the book can be enjoyed as a standalone. Bosse is a broken shifter forced to battle to the death to survive another day. Alifair has infiltrated the fortress where he is held captive so she can rescue the leader of her clan. When her dreams hint that Bosse may be the key to a successful rescue she risks all to save him. Alifair and Bosse have a powerful connection made stronger by a burgeoning passionate love. The story was full of action and surprising twists. A bit of a reunion with some familiar characters. Overall an entertaining and enjoyable story with a satisfying HEA.
What I liked most about Bosse was his complete relationship with and reliance on his wolf half (Titan). He had absolute trust and faith in his other half and that strength allowed him to survive the horror of being caged, starved, and forced to fight daily for the pleasure of a tyrant. Coming to trust a female, especially because of his past and his family, learning to put belief in the words of other shifters, and trying to become more than just a wild wolf may take more than he even knows.
As usual Dianna brings us a story full of excitement with the added allure of love. Bosse is a story about a Wolf shifter who was forced into a bad situation. With fate playing a part, he meets with Alifar, who leaves a lasting impression with some honey cookies. This simple act of kindness blooms into so much more but they have to live through the stuff Krol, a crazy Lion shifter, throws their way in order to live happily ever after.
I recommend clearing your calendars because this one is a hard one to put down once you start reading. Dianna delivers again a fantastic story!
Wow, I couldn’t put down this book! If you love romance and rooting for the underdogs; this is the book for you! Bosse and Alifair are captured by Krol, and forced to live in an old abandoned castle in the boondocks. Bosse must fight to the death against a stranger, every day, while Alifair is forced to be a servant. How do they manage to find love? This action-packed book is filled with danger, magic, shifters, a Lammogo, the Guardian, castles, family, friends, fights, prophetic dreams, romance, humor, mates, a power broker, spells, communities, Gallize, and battles!
This is the first book in a spin-off series from the Gallize shifters and what a story this was. Full of drama, betrayal, action, and discovery as both Bosse and Alifair come to terms with their need to escape their dangerous present and their more than stellar pasts. Their story is filled with great world-building as well as interesting side characters, a truly delightful adventure that will have you wanting more from this world. Highly recommend
Loved Bosse and Alifair.‘s story ! Lot’s of action, heat and two people bent on saving each other as well as their friends, even with the detriment being to themselves. Well written characters, some old, lots of new. Bad guys coming out of the woodwork! Loved how it all turned out !! Bosse gets a happily ever after he thought he never deserved. 4✨’s I received a copy of this story from the Authot and I’m choosing to leave this review ,
Another fantastic read by Dianna Love. Her world building and character building is awesome. She gives you just enough se you don't want to put it down. and keeps you hooked til the end. As Bosse fights for his survival he meets Alifair., who as a servant has her own agenda. Can they work together to stay alive? Can they protect each other and find their happily ever afters? Great read, will watch for more in this series.
A brand new series from Dianna Love starts off with a bang! This is actually a side series to her Gallize Shifter books, so we get to see a glimpse of some familiar faces. There's plenty of action, suspense, and some good old-fashioned fighting to go around. It's a page turner, and if you are anything like me, you will finish the book still wanting more!
It has been a bit since I read a Dianna Love book and I’m happy to report that her stories are just as great as always. I liked how this book was Gallize shifter adjacent so we got to see some familiar characters from the previous books but it had a completely different storyline and can be read as a true standalone. That made the story a fairly quick and gripping read. *I received an ARC for an honest review*
