It was a one-night stand with a complete stranger that I never expected to see again.
But
2 years later we meet again and he introduces himself as my new boss ...
I met him in a bar in Greece on the island of Mykonos. It was my last night before I had to fly back to London the next day. We had an instant connection, so I spent a night with him, and after mind-blowing sex, I sneaked out of his room in the early hours of the morning, thinking that I would probably never see him again.
Fast forward two years, a blast from the past arrives in the form of a video my friends sent from that magical night. Sharing it on social media was a shot in the dark, but the unexpected happened—millions of views. The catch? No one could trace him down.
I lost hope, thinking that I could never find him until he walked into my club where I worked as a high-end escort girl and made an announcement that he was my new boss.
Joanna Mazurkiewicz was born in Poland. She moved to United Kingdom when she was only nineteen and just finished high school. She had aspired to be a writer upon completion of the Harry Potter series but also enjoyed reading books like ‘Gone with the Wind’, ’Animal Farm’ and ‘The doll’. She graduated from Swansea University with a bachelor degree in American Studies. While studying in the UK she made a decision to start writing fiction in English. The “Whispers of the Sprite” is her first debut novel and she is currently working on other projects. Joanna lives in Cowbridge, a small town in South Wales near Cardiff with her boyfriend Bruce. She enjoys cycling around Welsh countryside some of which has become the settings in her first series.
I loved No10 Affair so when I was given this book to be an ARC reader for I was thrilled.
I could not put this book down! The chemistry between Veronica and Rupert was brilliant and some of the things Rupert says! 🥵 Not just focusing on the steamy side of this book however (although there is plenty and it is HOT) I loved the personalities of both main characters, Veronica’s back story was both sad and inspiring, though I will say maybe it could have went a bit more in depth on her relationship with her mum. Rupert’s backstory was heartbreaking and seeing his daily struggles while always looking so put together was touching and really goes to show how you never know what a person has been through. The book has a few twists in which were interesting to read and the flow of the book was brilliant. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommended.

Honestly wanted to love this book but the writing and spelling mistakes throughout the entire book were terrible and it ended very poorly. Overall disappointed compared to the first book this was poor
WHY SOOO MANY TYPOS?? (kindle edition) Needs a good editor and a much better story line. I read the first book and this had TON of overlap so was boring. 🥱 sex scenes were spicy, completely unrealistic and bordering on horrific as he spanked her (without her consent) so hard she cried, as he wanted to punish her for something he made up in his own head.
Why are all men in this genre so angry and dominant and into hardcore BDSM? Sex can be hot without the woman always being spanked red raw and not being able to stand/walk for the following week.
I’m not vanilla or a prude, but I’d like to read some of this genre of books that didn’t come straight out of Christian Grey’s red room 🙄
Ok this book took me awhile to get into but after u get over the lumps and bumps it’s so good! Ok so the plot is great but I did find at some points it didn’t make sense like the author forgot what she wrote but over all the book is so good. Omg the spelling errors in this book are more then the other and I’m shit at grammar this book could have been proof read more then it did that’s for sure. Now i feel like we skipped a lot of past that we should have known about why did the ex only get brought into this half way through the book if he was that bad why didn’t she feel some sort of trauma, an that we never got much past between them like I needed to know more about them. But over all I did enjoy the book fingers crossed for a 3ed
And i thought Spencer had a dirty talk fuck he has nothing compared to Ruperts mouth. Rupert however, was an asshole and not my favourite kind to begin with i mean he can't judge her work but thrn also invest in thr company she works for. He did redeem himself, but I wouldn't put up with that shit. Vincent, however, neded to die. Who did he think he is! Veronica and Rupert were actually pretty perfect for one another, This was a slow burn like very slow and insta love at the same time. Ps why are these men so angry at the world
I was given a copy of this book as an ARC and I really enjoyed this, I flew through it. Absolutely loved Veronica and her spirit. Lots of spice between them and undeniable chemistry. Turns out Rupert is just as controlling and possessive as his brother, which is sometimes a little too much, but you can see how much love he has for Veronica. I like the crime/plot twists that Jo always puts into her books, it makes it so much more than a romance ! Loved! x
This was everything I wanted and more for Veronica and Rupert. I love how their relationship grew and then I was gutted because she thought it would save him. The plot twist was amazingly written and the scene on the dreamer….I don’t think I’d have as much patience that Veronica did! I am so excited to see where book 3 leads us because Joanna does not disappoint!

I read Viral affair as an ARC reader. After reading the first Banks book I was so excited to read the second. I really enjoyed that the timelines of the books overlapped but that it wasn’t essentially to either storyline. The characters are great and the connection between them is fantastic. I am looking forward to the next book and what is to come!
So I absolutely 100% loved No 10 affair, it was incredible. This one however wasn't in the same league. It was great and I really enjoyed it I got quite emotional towards the end also. I didn't quite understand the ending did James murder someone Bellavista?? It seemed to end abit abrupt and left me wanting and needing more.

It's was a good book for the bank series for the second book. I gave the book for Four star. Good characters and really good setting again in the book. Definitely recommend everyone reads this book series. A really good all around book. Enjoy!
