This book is useful for better understanding LinkedIn's basic concepts as well as advanced features such as company pages and LinkedIn ads.

The book discusses building a virtual network online, becoming a thought leader in your field by participating in discussion forums, and writing a sales-oriented business profile that generates leads and builds a client base for your business.

The book discusses incorporating LinkedIn into your profiles on contact management sites such as Rapportive and Nimble.

Maximizing LinkedIn and Schaffer's companion book, Windmill Marketing, are among the best books about LinkedIn.

This is a must have if you want to understand how to use Linkedin for networking, marketing, and sales. The author includes over 15 case studies which demonstrate different ways people and companies have successfully used Linkedin to grow their business, perform customer service, and discover new talent. The author does a good job of explaining all the various linkedin features. If you haven't got linkedin yet, this book will help you.
