Not a Day Goes By: A gripping domestic thriller

Rate this book
Not a day has gone by that Michael Whitman hasn’t thought about his ten-year-old daughter, Katie, disappearing from an amusement park in their small Midwest city. One moment she was there, waiting on a bench, and then she was gone, shattering Michael’s life.

Now it is seven years later and it seems as if everyone has moved past Katie’s disappearance...except for Michael. Estranged from the rest of his family, he still holds onto the guilt of losing Katie and the hope that she might still be alive. And so when Michael receives an impossible text message involving his missing daughter, his life changes drastically for the second time.

Desperate to protect his family from the dangerous men who threaten them, Michael is about to learn the lengths that a father will go to save the people he loves...and what he is willing to sacrifice.

Ahhhh

All of the emotions in this book. I laughed, I cried,I was angry. This book is one of those roller coasters. There are some trigger warnings in here. But so good and so worth it.

This is a novel of drama, discourse, despair, disgust bundled within a love story of hope, faith and resilience.

This was a great story but the virtual narrator made the audiobook super choppy and the character voice inflection was missing.

This book is fantastic. It doesn’t always give you what you expect, but leaves you satisfied anyway! Such a beautiful story about what love really means.
