I'm pretty sure this was my second time reading this book (first time would have been YEARS ago), but unfortunately I didn't care for it all that much this time around. The mystery was okay, but I didn't love the characters or writing style. I've read other Robin Caroll novels and loved them, so I do like her books usually. All in all, an okay read.

Redemption changes lives, even in chaos

This was an incredible story! I love how Robin took the girl that had a horrible past and showed how a touch from the Lord can change any life. Even as she is trying to do her best to follow God’s laws she still goes through a terrible storm in her life. Wanting to help make her brother’s life better brings even more chaos but it ends up being so worth it. A beautiful story of redemption and Grace and love all wrapped up together. No matter what you have gone through, are going through or will go through, Robin shows her readers that if you look to Jesus, He will bring you through it. Definitely a book worth reading!

Have to admit I wasn't a huge fan of this hero. I didn't like (especially considering his job!) how quick he was to write off a teenager especially also how he got in trouble for downloading music illegally. I mean really? I know kids involved in drugs who turned their life around but you're willing to write this kid off over pirating music. Um ok. He admits to his mistake but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Based on that I can't give better rating. I give it a 3 mainly based on my overall love for this series.
