The Prophetic Message of the Minor Prophets
Tucked away in your Bible are twelve books that are often overlooked and ignored. In fact, most people could not find the Book of Obadiah in their Bible without the help of the table of contents. Those twelve little books have come to be known as the “The Minor Prophets” but they have a major message. In his book “They Pierced the Veil,” author J.R. Church devotes a chapter to a prophetic study of each of the Minor Prophets. The book is not a thorough study of the lives and times of each prophet. Instead, Dr. Church writes to “take a fresh look at their collective prophetic message.” I found this book to be a unique and powerful study. Most other commentaries tend to gloss over Bible Prophecy, but not this book. After reading how many of the prophecies of the twelve Minor Prophets have come to pass, you will believe that they did indeed pierce the veil of time and see the future.

I like JR Church. While I feel like I have to double check his writing, it's usually pretty right on. He uses other obscure sources like the pseudepigrapha and other ancient Jewish writings not found in scripture, but that does not contradict it. He also uses a lot of scripture revealing quite a bit about the minor prophets insight into the last days. His books are really hard to put down.
