This book, written and drawn by artist Fernando Zóbel, is mainly about his own drawings on what he saw in Cuenca during his stay there. In this book there are 40 reproduced drawings drawn with ink and watercolor between 1963 and 1965. Since the book was originally meant for a specific group of people, additional comments accompanied explanations with the pictures throughout the book. Throughout reading this book, not only could I take inspiration from Zóbel's "non-abstract", simplistic drawing style, I was also able to explore the culture and history of Cuenca through the eyes of Zóbel himself.
