Meet Zandor Steel. He's spent the past year in Italy acting out just about every sexual fantasy he could dream up. But it wasn't all fun and games. Zandor was there to oversee construction on a posh casino resort playground for the rich and famous.
But rumors of trouble with this brothers has him worried, and Zandor heads home to help out. It's the least he can do.
Jase and Cyrus had been Zandor's mentors. When it came to women, they taught him to avoid attachments and to know the difference between lust and love. So when word of at least one of his brothers being ready to settle down arrives, Zandor hopes he can talk some sense into him before it's too late.
Until he runs smack into resistance.
Southern Bell, Bekah George may just be the match Zandor has been looking for in the bedroom. She's neither intimidated by, nor afraid of his preferences. But as he starts to let his guard down, and consider the possibility of there being more to life than mind-blowing, non-committal sex, Bekah reveals a side of herself Zandor doesn't want to see.
Was he right to avoid entanglements, or has he already fallen to hard to let her go?
MJ Fields is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance novels. She lives in New York with her daughter Miss A, smoochie faced Newfie, Theo and the newest member to the 'fields crew, rescue diva / holy terror Eleanor. When she’s not locked away in the cave, she enjoys doing home improvement projects, spending time with her family, attending live music and sporting events, the theatre, singing off key, dancing to her own beat, listening to audio books, and reading of course.
Zandor is the third installment in M.J. Fields’ Men of Steel-series. Zandor is the third out of four brothers to fall head over heels in love and it was a one hell of a ride to see him reach his happily ever after. Even though this is a series, I believe this might as well can be read as a stand-alone. The couple from the previous books does appear, but I don’t think you have to read the previous books to enjoy this one.
After spending some time in Italy, Zandor Steel is back in Jersey to get his fallen brothers back on track. There’s one thing he didn’t expect however; to fall for the new feisty blonde working in his family’s tattoo shop, Bekah. Bekah, the other hand, has placed herself on a diet and Zandor Steel is a no-no on that diet and she will try her very best to resist the cocky man trying to win her over.
My top three ♥’s and a little ☹ for Zandor: ♥Zandor Steel: Hotness alert! Zandor is one hot Italian stallion. Completed with a very dirty mind and an arrogance and cockiness out of this world. He more often than not, put his words into action, so how can I not love it?
♥LMAO: One of the best things about this book is that it’s damn funny! There’s a whole chapter dedicated to Zandor’s love for tits! So funny. (Yes, I admit it, my humor can be compared to a damn teenage boy.) Basically everything that came out of Zandor’s mouth and the stuff going on in his mind, made me laugh so much. Additionally, the constant bantering between Zandor and Bekah was really fun to read.
♥Perfect surprise: I’ve been in kind of a book funk lately and I believed this book cured it. I loved reading about Zandor and Becky. I couldn’t stop reading it. It was a perfect light read and I loved every minute of it. I found this series randomly on Amazon and I love that I’ve enjoyed it as much as I have.
☹Editing needed:: noticed that there was some grammar and spelling mistakes here and there in this book. As English isn’t my first language I don’t really notice this as much as others would and it didn’t bother me too much in this book either. I also feel bad for pointing this out, as I’m sure my own writing is filled with the same errors and then some! Lol.
I enjoyed reading about Jase. I enjoyed reading about Cyrus even more. But Zandor is definitely my favorite brother so far and I give it 4.5 stars. If this is the trend with this series, I can’t wait to read about Xavier!
Zandor was the third book in the Men of Steel series by MJ Fields. The series needs to be read in order.
As the third of four sons, Zandor was the deeply passionate sibling. All of the brothers were sexual, but Zandor took his to a different level. We knew Zandor enjoyed some kink, but Fields unraveled his experiences and preferences within the storyline. As with the brothers before him, he played around with everyone, but never with a commitment more than that one moment in time. Until Bekah.
We met Bekah as one of the new tattoo artists at Forever Steel and the one that caught Zandor’s eyes from the beginning. She was a southern girl and apparently was on the run from her past with the promise of a new beginning.
Zandor was another quick read in the series that was full of push and pull and action packed drama. I liked the characters and the overall storyline, but didn’t necessarily feel the connection. But it was an enjoyable read none the less. And true to the series, the Steel family was front and center - and as always, I loved their bantering, antics and loyalty. Forever Steel.
Ok I freaking love these books! They get better and better! I'm afraid Zandor may be my new Cyrus! The ending of this book was left wide open and I for one hope the author takes advantage and gives us several more books! 5 stars is not enough!
Zandor....oh, how I love you! You are a naughty sexy man! And I loved your story!!!! Bekah is perfect for you, smart, mouthy, sexy and beautiful! I think you met your match with her! I loved her getting in to trouble by Zandor every time she swore! I couldn't get enough of their story and I believe the author told it with such fine detail that the scenes popped right out if the book!!! The love scenes were incredibliy written and had a HUGE WOW factor in them! Can't wait for the next brother in the series!
Zandor is probably my favourite brother so far in the series.
Up until this point, I found the brothers very high tempered which caused instant and heightened conflict between the characters. Obviously leading to a makeup session. The makeup sessions don't stop. There's a lottt of them.
Zandor brings more humour to the series. His character is more light-hearted and cracks jokes which bring a lighter tone to the story. He's still just as dominating as his other two brothers but he tones it down more. Plus the way he handles Bekah has me melting. She adds the fire to their relationship and he definitely knows how to reel her back in. Bekah has a home life that she needs to handle and I feared that Zandor would get kicked to the sideline but he doesn't let that happen at all. His alpha personality just won't allow for it and I am all for that.
I really enjoyed this book. I believe that MJ is honing her writing skills more and more in each new book. This book was by far the best of the 3 so far. And Zandor? What an incredibly swoon-worthy male. He was so willing to change it all for Becka. Every single thing. And I loved that about him.
Poor Becka. Was knocked down so often by her military dad who never let her forget what a disappointment she was to him. Not once. Becka's history isn't pretty. She's lived a life of disappointment and has decided to take on a "diet." I just laughed and laughed at her diet! She's young lady with a southern drawl who manages to "cover up" her insecurities fairly well but Zandor, intrigued by her extravagant rack, decides to take her on and enjoy her.
Of course one thing turns into another and Zandor is the one trying to convince Becka that they have something. Something to work for. She struggles, he pushes, and eventually they both manage to push beyond their fears and miscommunications to find their steamy HEA.
Joe is phenomenal as the family Matriarch of the Steel family. I love her. We also have some more pictures of Jase and Cyrus and their ladies.
If you're looking for an alpha who WANTS the girl and is willing to put himself out there, then Zandor is for you!
Infuriating, cocky, self-absorbed, lacking in humility, and the kind of man you hate to love. Yes! That is Aleszandro Steel... Zandor to his friends and family.
Yet, he is full of life, good intentions, with a heart of gold, and a sense of responsibility for his family that few men have. He adores his family, still minds what his mother says, but he is a stick of dynamite sitting next to an open fire - at any time he might go off and then watch out!
When Bekah enters his life, he only needs a few minutes of conversation to KNOW that she is different and the one for him. For how long? Nobody knows. He just has to have her.
This story is all about Zandor in HOT pursuit of Bekah. He will do anything, follow her everywhere, and he is doggedly relentless in his pursuit. For a man who is into BDSM, love 'em and leave 'em, and never had a relationship at the age of 24 years of age, Zandor is ready to chuck it all in his pursuit of Bekah. What he does not count on is in finding in Bekah the only woman that could ever please him. She is his perfect match... and this creates anxiety.
I loved this book. MJ Fields has once again proven herself to be a master storyteller. Her Men of Steel series is addictive, just like Love Series and the Wrapped Series were. I am now awaiting Cyrus's story. Hopefully she will not make us wait too long for it.
Zandor is by far my favorite of all the Steel boys! He's so damn honest, "cleaning the coffee pot." I was, too, probably for longer than necessary but I had ti*s on the brain, "And thinking of ti*s." Zandor the boy has some interesting reactions, "oh my God. I was in a damn thong and tank! No wonder he was checking me out. I quickly grabbed my robe and threw it over my body. That poor man. "I'll wait while you shower." I swear I heard a growl escape his chest when he left my room." I love how Bekah and him react to each other when they're together: I smirked and stepped back. "It's a co** diet." He swallowed hard and stood frozen. I had just done to him what he did to me earlier. I walked around him and smacked his a**. "Nice chat." Zandor he's just so fun, "oh I see, I'm embarrassing you. Okay fine I'll even the score." I had no idea what he was talking about. "Hey everyone, I rubbed one off in the shower!" Some of these conversation Bekah and Zandor have are just pure entertainment, "I'm normally very well groomed." She scrunched her eyes shut. My little Kitten had hair. No one had hair anymore. I kind of liked the idea of it." He also likes to tell his girl his likes, "sh**! When we get back, you're going on the pill. I've never ridden bareback before and this is so good, so effing good!"
First I am totally going to gush about the performance. I think this is one of my most favorites by Wen and Kai. Not only is Wen's voice yummy and makes a girl feel all the feels, but Kai's accent or southern-ness in this book was awesome! I love it, I want to re-listen to it like right now.
Now the book, oh lordy bee its HOT, and funny and fresh. I laughed out loud so hard with the scene with Bekah and her roommate, making the sounds as if Zandor was giving her the business.. OMG that was so funny I had tears.
Oh my god the way M.J. describes Zandor... Can I have one please?! Not only is he handsome but he is respectful and charming and swoon worthy and and and... I might have a crush, could be on Wen's voice or it could be with a fictional character who is to say really. ;)
I love how Zandor antagonizes Bekah, it makes for a great read. Because she totally gives back what she gets. Bekah, oh this girl she needs a man like Z in her life. She sure hasn't has it easy and she does let her dad bring her down and I understand why, thank god she found Zandor when she did. She kind of reminds me of a shell hard on the outside but soft on the inside, esp around her father.
Zandor for me, I kind of feel like he was looking for a relationship even if he wasn't actively looking, he was ready so he was more open to it then Bekah was. Love how he tried to show Bekah that your past doesn't define you. You define you, and you can be the only one to chance that perception.
Some of my favorite lines
"I'm not a lady!" Ha Ha she says this a lot! <3
“I'm gonna cuddle the f* ck out of you, Kitten!” - Oh Zandor!
Boy Ms. Fields just keeps getting better and better with this series. Whew....this was one amazing man...Zandor Steel. I thought it couldn't get any better than Cyrus' book but let me just say....Well Done Ms. Fields!!! ;)
In the previous books, Zandor was definitely the comical relief and always seemed like a complete clown to me, but that was sooooo not the case in this book. Zandor knew who he was and what he wanted without a doubt. And what he wanted was Bekah!! He was definitely not spastic like Jase in book one and was not afraid to say he wanted Bekah as his girlfriend. He figured out rather quickly that she was it for him and would not rest until Kitten was his in all ways. She on the other hand, was more unsure and drove me a little crazy at times. But when they did come together...there was nothing like it!!! Fireworks!!!
It was also great to see more of Carly and Jase, Cyrus and Birdie, Bella and of course, Momma Joe. Excellent continuation of the Steel family series. I look forward to seeing what Mr. X is like in the next one but I must say that if he is anything like his brothers...I won't be disappointed. ;)
The only thing I did miss was more of Abe in this one....hmmmmm...what was he up too?
MJ Fields has done it again!!! If your looking for a dominant alpha male book to read here it is!!!!!!Zandor is a man that knows exactly what he wants in life till he meets a sassy southern bell.... Miss Bekah George! Zandor wants her in every way possible but he has to convince her that he's worth it. Her past has left her hurt and without self worth. When these 2 get together oh the fireworks that light up the night!! It's hot and steamy and you'll fall in love with Zandor Steel!
My Book Review:::Zandor is so freaking Swoon worthy.MJ did a phenomenal job on bringing us this incredible love story about a sexy man that loves his family more than anything until Rebekah strong willed and Hot as hell for Zandor. And the love scenes were smoking Hot. You have to read this phenomenal book.<<<333
OMG .. can the Brothers of Steel get any hotter. I love Zandor and his dom ways, when he loves he loves strong and wont let anyone get in his way. Behak poor thing I felt so sorry for the way she thinks of her self just because her dad and ex put shit in her head. I was glad when she came to her senses and realized Zandor loved her. Another amazing book by MJ Fields!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
OMG!!! I enjoyed this book better than the first and second book in the series. Zandor's humor in this book made me laugh out loud and some of the things he said was hilarious.
There was some minor misspelling, but other than that, our was really a good book top read.
I absolutely love each and every one of these books! it is so easy to loose yourself in the stories. great read!!! OK so now after reading the book, I am even more in love with the Steel men!!!!!
I had forgotten how funny these Steel boys are! This was entertaining and Zandor does really undergo a transformation from the prior books in the series. Can't wait for Xavier's book!
3.5* I liked Zandor, but he was a bit over the top at times. Bekah was a bit skittish at first, but came in to her own at the end. I'll move right onto Xavier's story.
This is the third book in this hot series. The Steel brothers are sexy gorgeous alpha males! Zandor works at the family's tattoo store. After spending time in Italy taking care of family business he comes home to New Jersey (my birth/home state). He encounters Jase and Carly happily married and now Cyrus is in love with Tara and planning on their wedding! Meanwhile at the tattoo shop he is training a beautiful, sassy southern belle, Bekah. It becomes apparent they are attracted to each other. It's just sad her low self esteem, which has alot to do with her father and her estranged mother, plus her past. I loved this book, I love listening to their narrative, their smoking hot love scenes and of course how they heal other and confess so much to each other. The characters frome the previous books and of course Xavier. As always MJ Fields delivers on everything I come to love her books, great storyline, a wonderful story and a hea!!
Let me start first by giving you are warning. **Do not eat while reading this book. I laughed so hard I almost choked on my lunch.**
This is by far one of the funniest books in the series. Zandor has always loved sleeping with older married ladies for the fact that there are no strings attached. Zandor comes back home from being in London after discovering Jase has already gotten married and Cyrus has fallen head over heals for Tara. He must make the boys remember who they are. Steel's don't have relationships.
"I'm a lover, not a husband or boyfriend. I never gave a woman false hope and I never lied to get laid. We each have our thing in life, our hobby, our obsession, our go-to activity when we need a break from reality, Sex was mine."
Zandor is working on hiring new staff for the tattoo shop Forever Steel so his brothers can have more personal time and in walks a very confident southern bell named Bekah. He is instantly drawn to her and demands she be hired and he will do all the training that she needs. Can Bekah trust a man that she works with everyday and looks that smoking hot and arrogant as hell.
"Stupid girl, stupid romantic notions. Stupid panties getting stupid wet thinking about that stupid man."
The Steel boys always get what they want. Zandor is no different but the struggles of getting the relationship that he wants is very interesting. They are in love with each other but this is a new feeling for both of them. Can they handle that feeling?
"Falling in love is like giving another person a loaded gun pointed right at your heart and trusting them not to shoot you."
Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are the reason I picked up this series. The first two books not read by them were very good, the narrators carried the story, but honestly, it was the story that kept me listening. This combination of MJ Fields and Kai and Wen is pure magic, 8 hours that flew by, engrossing me into the story of Zandor and Bekah. Mamma Jo raised these four boys of hers well, and each has a completely different personality. Zandor has a personality that draws you in, makes you feel protected and want to be near him. Bekah is not sure she is able to deal with that. Her past keeps coming up, haunting their relationship. Her personality of a strong, smart, beautiful, smart mouthed woman is perfect for Zandor and he knows it. He will do just about anything to keep her close and let her know that she is his.
While the relationship grows, I find the scenes with Zandor's family to be the a real and almost as important to the story. The crossover of the brothers and their families from the previous books to me is vital to understanding Zandor and who he is. The book can definitely be read as a stand alone, but the there is history that does make the book even better if you have read it.
The narration of this book is incredible. The team of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross will make you keep those earbuds in, from Kai's southern accent for Bekah, to Wen's narration of panty melting seduction you will be taken in and want to see how Zandor and Bekah reach their happily ever after.
Men of Steel. Each one is different, yet they all share similarities. I liked Jase, I LOVED Cyrus and now I have been introduced in detail to Zandor. I loved Zandor too and enjoyed his story. Zandor is one highly confident alpha male who thinks he has the world figured out until Bekah George shows up. Bekah throws his life into turmoil and has Zandor realizing that he won’t be happy living his life the way he had planned.
Bekah is a sweet broken character. She doesn’t think she is good enough for much of anything and certainly doesn’t trust men. Bekah lets her past control her and in doing so, she continually pushes Zandor away. Their story shows both of them having to learn how to deal not only with each other but with a relationship in general. There is much to learn for both of them.
This story made me laugh and cry. Both Zandor and Bekah had a long way to go to get to the point they could have a long term relationship. I enjoyed the other members of the family being involved in the story. It is always fun to read the interchanges between the Steel brothers. Zandor’s comments were funny much of the time. He is a highly sexual guy and met his match in Bekah.
Zandor is a great guy and his story was awesome…..but Cyrus is still my Steel man! Love them all but Cyrus is my fave! Bring on Xavier and his story….we will see if he tops Cyrus for me! Five Stars to each book in this series! Love your work MJ Fields!
Sweet Jesus another deliciously hot Steel man! Zandor has been a douchebag up until now. I think when these Steel men meet their mate they flip a switch and become all kinds of hot alpha male on them - not that they were not alpha males before it is just hot to read when they project that alpha on the women they love. Bekah is not your petite chick but an average size southern bell with long blonde locks. No need to describe Zander he is just like his brother's Jase & Cyrus - HOT! It is a slow tango at the beginning for these two. Bekah does not feel she can cross the line since Zandor is her boss. Zandor is just waiting for his moment to pounce on Bekah. Zandor did not go after Bekah looking for love, but for some reason he could not get her out of his head. Bekah has some issues at home she needs to deal with which ends up putting a wedge between her and Zandor. Zandor is determined to fight for her but what is the point of fighting if the other person does not feel the same way. Things get ugly before they get better. Zandor is off the charts sweet, loving & caring which makes me want to slap Bekah so she can wake up and see what she could have. Now the sex - whew grab a fan and a bottle of wine because it is hot hot hot. Fabulous ending. Only one more Steel Man "Xaiver"
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Zandor!!! He is by far my favorite of the series!! I don't even know where to begin. Zandor is so sweet but such an Alpha and Bekh is a smart, no nonsense girl who shows the world a strong side but is really a soft hearted sweet girl.
Zandor feels a need to protect Bekh and when she gets ready to visit her father he finds a way to go with her. He knows she is scared to go home but he doesn't know why. Bekh is such a basket when she has to face her father, who is a total a** and her ex. Zandor gives her space as much as he hates to and the results are something to behold.
Zandor loves Bekh and wants her to know the Dom in him without scaring her and they way it is introduced was great.
Thanksgiving dinner with The Steel family is unforgettable and I love Jase's reaction to and the "tramp stamp". I laughed sooo hard!!!
So much I want to say about the book but I don't want to give anything away. I recommend this book to everyone. To get the best feel for the Steel family I recommend reading them in order.
I enjoyed this book by M.J. Fields. This book includes passion, laughs, and brotherhood at it's finest!
Zandor hires Bekah in the tattoo shop based on her attitude and the fact that he wants her bad. Being part of the Steel family he has patience and he will slowly reel her in.
What Zandor fails to understand is Bekah is on a diet. A no man diet since her last relationship. So he will have to work extra hard to get her to submit to him.
Bekah knows that she needs to avoid any of Zandor's charms and advances but will she be successful?
Out of all the Steel brothers so far Zandor is my favorite. I like them all but the Zandor's character talks to me just a little more. All the other brothers are still pulled into this story so you don't miss out on them.
Can't wait to see if Xavier Steel and Abe (Carly's Cousin) get a story.
Another Steel man has stolen my heart. I knew that Zandor what be a great guy, but really. He was a "you are the future that I never knew that I wanted" guy that fought for what he wanted. Bekah of course had a difficult background. Momma Joe knows all (again) and takes care of everyone in her family (extended or otherwise). Can't wait to get more on Xavier! Jase and Carly came to a happy place in their relationship (again . . .lol). and Little Bell got a tramp stamp (loved this part with Zandor!). I can see a book for Momma Joe in very near future, maybe with the professor :) he did make her giggle. So much more to see from this group and I can't wait! Forever Steel!
Zandor is what we call in Spanish a Sinverguenza, that means that he has no shame, and i`m really glad of that because i was in need of a fun book and the Steel brothers always make me feel better, i was not comfortable with him not being straightforward but hey, he has his reasons so I cant wait for Xavier, and i really need to know about Falcon, he intrigues mee......
