Short biographies of Pittsburghers through the years. I knew some of the people especially in the arts and sports area. I liked how Mr. King gave the rise of these people to the promience they attained. I did not know many of the politicians and criminals.

While I liked all the stories, I particularly enjoyed the stories of Porky Chedwick, Cyril Wecht, Mrs. Soffel, Sophia Masloff, Bob Prince, and Myron Cope. I learned more about my hometown.

I hope there are more of these stories and books coming from Mr. King.
