Why I Read this Book: I was curious, I wanted had to know what was in those boxes!

What I Liked: I enjoy reading friends-to-lovers romances and that’s what Open Me is. It was a fun story to read and there were definitely some laugh out loud moments. Like the calendar Sabrina and Jonathan were working on.

November would be so much easier and a lot more fun; she was actually looking forward to recreating the cast of Twilight in kiwis and bananas.

LMAO!! This visual was hilarious! I can picture it now – Edward as a sparkly banana. LOL

Looking down at his crotch, he issued it a stern warning: […] If you can do this for me, I’ll reward you greatly tonight. Am I clear?

Ha!

What I Didn’t Like: There was one scene where the transition that felt a bit disjointed. Sabrina and Jonathan are at the studio and I thought something was going to happen, but nothing did. I was fine with that but the scene ended abruptly and next thing you know, it’s the following morning. Other than that one little blip, the story flowed fluidly.

Overall Impression: Open Me was a fun, quick read. This novella is very short but there’s just enough background story to make the story come full circle and feel believable. Great novella for in between reads or a quick read before bed.

Open Me is about friends who own a business together, and have ignored their attraction for far too long. With so much at stake, things have to get pretty crazy before they'll own up to being into each other. Everything comes to a head when a box arrives that simply states, "Open Me." This short story carried me along, and I finished it in one sitting. Reina Stowe is a great writer, and created characters who made me laugh out loud, and made me hot! Anyone who likes a solid contemporary story, with a good dose of the erotic, will love this book!
