Trade the gentle hills of Sweet Valley for the rolling hills of Laurel Heights, Virginia and you have Dream Girls.

Arlene runs the school and even has the nickname Queen Arlene. She's rich, owns tons of horses, and has tinted contacts to match her many outfits ha! Kim is her wingman and writes the school gossip column "Crimson Blushes" for the paper The Crimson.

We've got boys! There's a Mr. Collins-y teacher named Mr. Gasner (who immediately gets involved in a student/teacher rumor.) There's new boy John Landon, who all the girls want.

Our main girl is sweet Linda, but I don't trust her because she hates pizza.

Some fun hangouts mentioned in the book are Crandalls, which is the giant fancy department store that is holding the pageant in this book. Then there's Moriarties, a mall italian place where Linda waits tables and the kids hang out at.

Very interesting that John just casually orders a beer on his first date with Linda, but oops gets drunk and crashes his car. Dun Dun Dun...what will happen in book 2?
