Rewritten novella of the same title in the Men Made for America series by this author.

A short but well written story about a woman who married a celebrity, only to divorce him shortly after when she wasn’t able to deal with all the women who surrounded him. A budding screenwriter, she has to face him years later when their mutual agent shares her work with him.

He doesn’t know she gave birth to his child but finds out when the child falls ill. A second chance romance story with the requisite HEA.

Amber, a writer, was married to Barron, an actor, she divorces him after a short time married, as she's young and can't cope with his fame. She writes a screenplay and he decides to direct and star in it but she doesn't want anything to do with him, in case he finds out about her secret.

A quick and easy read. Amber and Barron are like tinder and gasoline when they are together. They either end up arguing passionately or making love passionately. They have to resolve the issues keeping them apart before they can get to live the life they want.

Barron is a blockbuster movie star, he came to Texas to shoot a movie and Amber fell in love with him. The movie was being shoot next door to Amber's aunt ranch and she was fascinated by a real live movie star. So she went next door to meet him, lucky for her his co-star got sick and she resembled the girl and was ask to fill in for the kissing scene. She was such a natural and they started to spend more time with each other and eventually started dating. They were very young and full of passion for each other.
She was eighteen years old when they got married. But she was very jealous and insecure of his job when she saw him with other women in print. Because of this their marriage suffered and she ask for a divorce. However, she found out that she was pregnant after she left him. Fast forward Seven years his career had sky rocketed and he's now a millionaire but she have this secret. She's now a screenwriter and have a script that he's interested in purchasing. But she doesn't want anything to do with him. He threatens her that he knows what she's doing so she better get on the plane that he's sending. She panic thinking that he discovered her secret, only to find out that the quickie divorce that she, filed in Mexico did not go through and she's still married to him seven years later.
Barron thought he hated her but he was actually glad that the divorce didn't go through after, he saw her for the first time after seven years. And he wanted to give their marriage a second chance. After seven years of being apart their passion for each is still all consuming, hot, and uncontrollable. I like Barron character not so much Amber her reasons for withholding the pregnancy didn't seems valid. She robbed her son for of his dad for her own selfish insecurities. He knew that when they got together the first time that they were too young and he put his work before her. I'm glad that the two finally got they HEA.

After her divorce from Barron Skyemaster, Amber Howard has gotten on with her life as a successful screenwriter and mother of their son Joey. Her new script has wound up with Barron who wants to produce the movie, but that can’t happen as he is not aware of Joey’s birth. Barron, a famous actor, was always busy and surrounded by beautiful women and this along with her youth and insecurity was partially responsible for their divorce. Barron has never forgotten Amber and seeing her again brings back all the feelings he had for her. Is there a second chance for them? What will happen when he learns about Joey? I have really enjoyed this series, but it was more difficult to connect with these two main characters who seemed to be making the same mistakes that they did seven years ago. Barron and Amber had a past and didn't think they would ever see each other again. But Amber's last script she wrote Barron wanted to direct and be the star in it. Amber wanted nothing to do with him having her script, but she had to face her past and see him to figure things out. But she has kept their son from them since their divorce and wanted nothing to do with telling him. But when they saw each other they both felt the pull they had years ago. Now with her being on his island to discuss things she has to decide to tell him her secret. They also both have to deal with the strong feelings they have. Will they be able to listen to their hearts and leave their heads out of it.

Barron Skyemaster is an actor and producer. He always felt Amber was the one that got away. Now Amber has written a script for a movie based on her life. Only her agent has given it to the one person she never wants to see. The gauntlet has been thrown down. Can she be in the same place as him? Sparks are flying from the beginning. There is a secret she has kept from him. Will everything turn out the way her parents marriage did, or can she break free and have everything she has ever wanted?

Having read the ones before this I had to continue for sure. I found this is a good way to lift some cares away if only for a minute. Me though still waiting on that dream but it was fun to read it in here. Barron and Amber give us a look at what a second chance can happen but how it develops here is a adventure in itself. A secret that will be uncovered too that really for a experienced reader is not so much a surprise but the condition is. We follow closely to see how this develops and with it can bring warm feelings.

Received this arc for an honest review. Had difficulty finding the characters likable. Barron was too ambivalent with his feelings. Amber’s sexual fascination seemed shallow. While she is struggling with her guilt, her son in in the hospital. Didn’t seem like Amber matured that much. Their communication caused lots of angst.☹️

"Dream Come True" by Ann Major brings us, Amber and Baron. The two share a past and much more. The problem is that Baron knows nothing of his secret child, and only an illness will bring Amber to tell him about their son. I was given this book for an honest review on Bookfunnel and I really enjoyed this story.

Plenty of attraction but failure to communicate.

I did not enjoy this book as much as the previous books in the series plus the. Space before and after the apostrophe drive me a little mad! Although I can to some extent understand Amber''s fears and uncertainties, I found her a little annoying. However Barron was also annoying and impatient but Joey was delightful.

This was not the best book I’ve ever read. The characters just needed to open their mouths and talk to each other. I didn’t find the characters appealing and I found myself not really caring about what happened to them.
