Cute Valentine’s Day interesting shifter guardian romance!
I’ve never read anything like it but it was cute, adorable and hot!
The struggles of Avril were real but she pushed through and then along came Vaz and did he sweep her off her feet… i loved the premise, plot and spice.

It was cute. I do think the FMC and her best friend had more on-page time than the main love interests. That was weird.
I didn’t grow very attached to either character because I spent so much time annoyed with the friend stuff. I don’t read smut novellas for empowering female friendships? (Which this was not. Just OTT sassing, reiterating thoughts we’ve already read in FMC inner dialogue, and getting drunk.) It just felt out of place in this type of book. We spent more time at movie nights than we did the entire Cupid dramatic scene.
Some of the dialogue felt fake and forced. Too many nicknames. The scene with the daughter and the stuffy toward the end was sooooo cliche it made me roll my eyes.
Redundant language all throughout. Full paragraphs that weren’t essential to the plot were reworded and added often. I eventually just started skimming.
Descriptions. I couldn’t tell you what this guy looked like in human form but I could describe the FMC’s favorite egg sandwich. And her being “FLOORED” that the MMC enjoyed the same type of chips she did. That seems like a pretty over the top reaction.
There was some smut, but not much considering it is being marketed as a smutty novella. The full middle of the book is lacking in that for different plot reasons. It was frustrating. I think the author is still finding their voice.
I would give it a two, but the author is technically such a great writer I’m giving it three. I think a great editor would be beneficial. The talent is here and it would be a worthwhile investment.

This was a really cute, emotional and spicy read from Mack. It was definitely a unique take on a Valentine's novella that I've genuinely never seen before, and was so fun to read.
Avril was such a well developed, well thought out character and you could feel her struggles and her dismay. The emotions from her at times were really palpable, and I felt that I actually connected with her, given the smaller, novella sized narrative presented to us.
Viz - what a unique guardian he turned out to be, and I was all for it. I loved his entire storyline - again, not something I'd read previously - and loved the way he just wanted to love Avril. You could tell initially it was almost a selfish reason for love, but then you watched their relationship develop, and it was truly sweet.
I'm eagerly anticipating other books in this series, as I feel it's such an interesting take on the Cupid idea, and the unique world-building definitely has me interested for more.

La protagonista es mamá soltera y lo que más quiere es estar con alguien, por lo menos no pasar San Valentín sola de nuevo.
En una tienda encuentra un extraño peluche de un gato de ojos verdes brillantes y se queda embobada mirándolo, solo que cuando lo vuelve a ver él había desaparecido.
Vazpen, el protagonista esta bajo la maldición de Cupido y cada San Valentín puede transformarse hasta encontrar a su pareja y si no, vuelve a el cuerpo de un peluche.
Por algunas circunstancias su amiga le regala un peluche que casualmente es el mismo gato de ojos verdes que ella había visto en la tienda. Y cuando Vazpen se da cuenta que era el regalo de Avril, él hace lo imposible para que se enamore y así poder romper su maldición.

This is such a cute and spicy Valentine’s novella! It had a lot of sweet moments mixed with fun, laughter, and love. I appreciated the realness of Avril being a lonely single mom, and Valentine’s Day has her feeling a little desperate for companionship.
The whole book was a nice mix between realism and fantasy. Every mom moment and comment, every interaction with her friend, the loneliness, and just her inner monologue were real and relatable. The monster aspect was very well done! I loved the whole lore with the Immortals and Cupid cursing his guardians. It was unique and was explained easily since this was a novella.
The spice was fantastic! The things that Vaz’s tail can do is very unique and a real bonus if you get what I mean. I greatly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Avril is a single mom putting her all into raising her daughter. Her love life is lacking, but not for long. Vazpin has been cursed for centuries he's now on the look for the one capable of breaking his curse. He's found her, and now it's time to make all her naughty dreams come true.
This has such a cute cover, but there's most definitely 🌶🌶. I really liked Avril, and her reactions to Vaz were spot on. We get a decent amount of backstory for Vaz and wow such a new take on one mythological being. I'm trying really hard not to give too much away. It does leave it open for more stories set in this universe, and I'm definitely looking forward to them.

Do not be fooled by the cute cover, this is one spicy read!
Avril is a single mum giving her all to her daughter but desperately wanting a valentine of her own given her dead in the water love life. Vazpin, having been cursed for centuries is on the look out for someone to break the same, can they help each other? I loved the storyline and think that every mum can relate to the inner monologue of Avril. Vaz was amazing and the monster aspect was well done. The spicy times were five alarm and this is definitely not one to read in public! I am so glad that there will be a series on inter-connected standalones as I need more of this in my life.

Adorably sweet and emotional, this is a story of true love. I very much enjoyed the creative spin on Cupid and his story, as well as the single mom and bestie. It's quite beautiful to read a story of true love for a mom in a time when so many seem to encourage the single life rather than settling down.

If you're looking for an adorable valentine story, here's the perfect novella for you! Avril is a single mother who hasnt had the best experiences in the love department. Vaz is a Cupid guardian, trapped in a stuffed animal. I know it sounds crazy but it works so well! With a meddling best friend (in a good way) and an adorable 7 year old daughter, how can these two not end up happily ever after? Fun read!

A totally sweet, fluffy, and monstrous Valentine’s read. Avril is a single mom doing everything she can to provide for her daughter, while basically giving up on her love life that is severely lacking. In comes Vazpin that has been cursed for centuries and is looking to break his curse. He gets his sights on her and now wants to take care of her and make all her dreams come true. We get a great backstory about Vazpin and plenty of spice. I am excited for hopefully more of this world.

Cupid definitely was horrid in the book how could he do that to vaz cursing him for thousands of years. Omg this is such a cute and steamy novella. It is my first monster romance so I didn’t know what to expect but I really enjoyed it. Insta-love, monster romance, fantasy, using the magical tail as a “teammate”, single mom tropes. A truly sweet, cute and steamy read with a little bit of drama and a great “to be continued” ending, perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Avril is a single mom who has given up on love. Vaz is cursed by Cupid to remain in stuffed form until he finds true love. The two come up with some delightful, spicy adventures together. There's laughter, spice, and even a little angst thrown into the mix. Rozy Mack has shown us that no matter the length, she can provide a nice ride.

This is a cute and unique Valentine's novella. I loved the mixure of love, sweetness, humor and spice. While a heartwarming paranormal romance it stilll had its realistic and relatable moments. Avril and Vaz have a lot of heat and chemistry between them. I had fun reading this novella.

This is a fluffy, cute but steamy Valentine read about a stuffed creature who comes to life once he meets his mate. I loved the premises, storyline and characters. It is an easy quick read and the first in the guardian series so there is more monstrous love to come.

My Stuffed Valentine is a nice romp between single mom, Avrill and a cursed Cupid's Gaurdian, Vazpin. I couldn't put it down as I waited for these two to fall in love.

Quite the Valentine story! And definitely not what you expect. Red fur and sparkling green eyes meet a lonely, single mom. Guardian Vazpin has been cursed by non other than Cupid himself. Avril is the only one who has the power to break it but first Vaz has to show Avril that his love for her runs deep even though they’ve only known each other for a short time.
