It seems to be a helpful tool in preparing for the MAT. The biggest area that could use improvement is the CD-ROM. It simply is just a computerized version of the 8 same tests in the book. I would have liked to have had separate tests but more importantly what I feel is missing in the CD-ROM is diagnostic tools that can take your test results and further direct you in areas that you need to study more in. All that this software does is give you you score and allow you to go through the questions with explanations of what is right and what is wrong in the options. I was hoping for much more in the software and again would liked to have had more sample tests offered in the book.

Helpful, but the CD-ROM is pointless. The quick study lists are helpful to get you started. And the analogy explanations are helpful

I scored well enough to get into my grad program, so I am happy with this prep guide.
