I was a little bit disappointed in this read, unfortunately, and so it gets a 3.5 marking from me.
There was so many mentions of extra characters that I didn't feel were necessary to the story line at all, but the main characters who were involved in the story felt almost juvenile with little emotional connection and yet we were supposed to believe two of them had been in a relationship for almost a year.
Aiden and Charlotte dated for almost a year then broke up when he gave her an ultimatum. He's not over her so when their families get together for a birthday celebration he brings two friends with him to help him cope - both of whom hes had a sexual relationship with. There's lots of sleeping with each other and even a bit of MM and some of the spice was hot and while I'm a fan of adding others to the dynamic for fun, using others to make yourself feel better and other's feel jealous errs into a different territory to me and isn't my favourite I'm afraid.

This is a fab and steamy start to the series and it brings back together Aiden and Charlotte, a couple with fab chemistry but they split apart for reasons outside of the bedroom. Now, about to see each other for the first time since the break-up, they are both feeling nervous. Aiden took a different path and brought friends to act as a buffer between he and Charlotte but that backfired pretty quickly ;P Expect to get caught up in the drama, angst and steam in this hot 'lust triangle'. I can't wait for the next installment to see how things continue to unfold for Aiden, Charlotte and Sebastian :D

Charlotte (FMC) and Aiden are Ex's that are forced to be in each other's company when they are invited to a private island for a birthday. Giving them an opportunity to confront their issues with the help of Aiden's friend - Sebastian they delve into all sorts of steaminess between all of them. It was a quick read I thought with characters I liked but I felt that we didn't get to know them enough. Also this book didn't feel finished yet. I'm not sure if this book was part of a series or not? I guess we'll see.

I enjoyed Sebastian, Charlotte and Aiden’s story. It was an intriguing read. And was a new author, for me. Am am voluntarily leaving this review.
